I've been shopping at Harris Teeter since 2020 because of the convenience to my neighborhood. The…read morestore is often very clean and well kept. That was an easy draw for me. I have had a consistent issue with the fruit section. Specifically the red grapes and strawberries. Although this is my first time writing a review, I have been tempted to return the product on several occasions. Last night, my wife and I wanted fruit to compliment our dinner. After looking at the selection and not finding a flaw, I decided on Good4U Bi Color Seedless Grapes and Mathis Farms Strawberries Fraises. I heard my wife scream as she opened the container to find mold covering the red grapes (including the stem). If that wasn't enough, she found molded strawberries just under the ripe ones across the top. This is easily becoming habit forming because I have ran into this time and time again. Your competitor a few blocks away isn't any better so I choose HT. Do I need to now travel to Wegmans to get fresh, edible fruit? What can be done to better my experience so that I can continue being a valued customer? Prices of food are high enough as it is. I want to not put my family at risk by eating molded produce. Thank you for your attention to this matter. On a lighter note. I always have the best customer service experience with manager Tom who assisted me last evening and (Maria?) the cashier. She's a young brunette. She's always cheerful and knows how to bag properly. Great customer service on both fronts. *Pictures are available upon request* Vincent

The parking lot is always packed, as well as the store itself. At night, it is extremely dark in the parking lot....not sure why they don't have more lighting. They have unique offerings that the other locations don't have, such as a small bar, a hot food bar (regular food & Asian food), but they aren't always 100% full when we come. They also have the pizza station, which is offered at other locations. This location doesn't always seem to be stocking their shelves the last couple times we visited. There's a Starbucks inside the store, which is also insanely busy with long lines.

This is a review for the cafe specifically…read more I'm newer to a keto/low carb diet and have been struggling to find places to go out for a bite. Imagine my excitement when I came across this place and saw this on their website: "Try our delicious meals made using fresh, seasonal ingredients with gluten-free, keto and high-protein options"! My husband and I come in to order takeout. I ask the cashier what on the menu has a keto option. She struggles to give me an answer, leafing through some papers, and ultimately tells me I can create my own bowl with "bison as the best keto protein option". Uhhh.. okay. I instead select the sugarless BBQ burger with no bun and salmon as protein, with a side of broccoli and the berry smoothie. My husband created his own bowl. We get home to eat .. and my burger is sitting inside a bun. Okay. My side order of broccoli was TINY and SOOO SALTY. I'm talking about *inedibly* salty. My husband's bowl with chicken had a whole 9 leaves of spinach, green pepper, and the kale & quinoa base which apparently is basically just rice?? And of course all of it was completely plain (no seasoning) without the added bbq sauce he got on the side. The smoothie was decent so we'll give this place 2 stars. I don't get it, this meal was so unsatisfying. We eat clean so that's not a new concept but I don't understand what 'clean' means here. We will certainly not be coming back.

I wanted a doughnut, but didn't want the whole thing for myself, so I lightly nudged my sweet tooth friend to split one with me. I knew he wasn't going to say no. It required very little to no convincing. Sadly, they were out of half of their options, but we tried the PANDAN CUSTARD DOUGHNUT (4.65) because we both like pandan. The custard was creamy with a strong pandan flavor. The donut was soft and chewy with a delicious sugar layer. I'm sure these have been sitting out for a few hours, so I'm impressed how well they hold up. I would definitely pay the price for these delicious doughnuts again.

I hope they'll pop up at DC farmer's markets again some day! I was able to try their new hojicha cinnamon roll and the classic miso pumpkin donut this past weekend at a pop-up they attended, and it was delicious as always (but not as fresh as it used to be at the markets, of course). My friend also loved her black sesame kouign amann, and I've enjoyed their croissants I nthe past. It's just a really solid home bakery, and I was excited to hear they might be opening a storefront in Annandale soon. Definitely check them out if you see them!

We had so much fun that we actually went back twice in one week, one for a field trip and one with a group of friends. The most enjoyable part for my daughter were the multiple playgrounds scattered through the lot. She loved exploring each and every single one and they were never too crowded to play on. Attractions include a pillow bounce (think a moon bounce minus the colors), several large slides, chickens, goats and baby pigs, bamboo maze, hayride, cow train, wooden bridge and some live music. As someone who has been going to Cox Farms since I was 4 years wold I definitely felt like Ticonderoga was missing the feeling of festivity that brings. Things like apple cider, hot popcorn, friendly attendants staffing every attraction (besides the hayride, everything was self serve) and a spruce up on the artwork in the hayride area would go a long way. There are not too many food vendors on site but they do have some food trucks come in on the weekend. That being said if low key and little crowds is your jam than this is your place! I'll definitely be making this place my fall spot, but as soon as my daughter can fully enjoy Cox Farms...we outtttt!!!
