Dr. Dan came highly recommended. We just moved to Quinlan so I needed to find a new Veterinarian . One of my dogs has Addisons Disease so I need a veterinarian that is experienced treating this. I brought Finnegan in to have bloodwork done. Dr. Dan was very nice and was confident treating this as he has several client dogs with it. It's a tricky disease to treat and regulate. His electrolytes came back perfect and it only took about 15 mins for results. I'll soon be going back for heart worm injections for all my dogs. Staff was all very pleasant and obviously everyone is quite fond of Dr. Dan. It's a bit of a drive but well worth the trip. Highly recommend this business! read more

Really like Dr. Dan but it is such a disappointment that they want give me a prescription for my dog that has to be on medication for the rest of his life and I found it much cheaper online, but they won't write me a prescription for it. You can only get the medicine from them WOW. I guess they just don't make enough money. No wonder Van Zandt County has such a problem with stray dogs who can afford it. read more

At The Wills Point Vet Clinic operated by Drs Rachel and Dan Turner, everything runs amazingly well. The intake staff are polite knowledgeable triage incoming in excellent fashion. The vet techs are wonderful compassionate wise and work very well with the veterinarians. The doctors are incredibly kind communicate and teach us about vet care. On June 20, I took my 6 month old puppy that we had adopted from the Terrell Shelter to this vet to have him altered. Per the Animal Shelter paperwork this is where I needed to take him in order to be in compliance with the contract. This clinic called me and they scheduled the appointment which went fine. However, on the day of my appointment I checked in our puppy, informed the clinic that he was to be registered under our farm, I was told to pick him up around 330pm. At around 9 I checked my phone as I was tending to cattle in the field and saw several messages stating that my dog was going to be sent back to the animal shelter because they didn't and have kennel space. I attempted to call them back several times and finally got ahold of them and was told that I needed to pay for the pain medications and that Terrell Shelter was going to be picking him up to hold him. I told them no he was not to be released to the Shelter and a family member would be on their way. When my wife arrived she gave both my phone number, the farm name, her name and phone number as was told they didn't have our puppy. She called me and they then stated he was listed under the Terrell Shelter! My wife was then informed that there were 2 dogs with the same name and one the owner refused to pick up! I have spoken directly to DR. Dan stated that he was sorry it happened but they were busy! This was a complete disorganized mess. First of all if this Vet is so busy (and per the Shelter they were back logged) they should have never set the appointment! Secondly they should have listed us on the file as well as Terrell Shelter! This would have eliminated the confusion. Third an apology with a comment of we were busy is an excuse not an apology! I will not be returning to this vet to have his follow up I will be taking him to my vet in Canton! read more

New to area. Dr. Dan was highly recommended by several ppl we have recently met. Our pup needed blood work to make sure she was still free of heart worms. The vet tech brought me back to the exam room with my baby which past vets in other states would not allow. He recommend she get a heart worm shot which would be good for one year. He also took time to talk to me and gave my girl a full exam and I have every intention of of using them again going forward. read more

I would recommend Dr. Dan and Dr. Rachel to anyone. I have 3 dogs all of which went to different clinics. I've now moved all of them to WPVC. It's heartbreaking however I lost an 8 year old boxer mix and a 15 year old heeler. Dr. Dan helped with an aggressive cancer on our boxer and also assisted us in the end. The compassion was amazing from him and the technician assisting. Not even 4 months later I knew I was nearing the end with my Heeler again to cancer diagnosis from another vet. Because of the care we received with our other dog, we again chose Dr. Dan in our end times. They are the best with comfort and truly made it best for our dogs and us. They gave us privacy yet stayed near. Their cremation service is also amazing. Dr. Dan sent us a hand written card with our dogs paw prints and nose prints as well. He did great with both dogs while still managing comfort towards my crew and I. His knowledge, experience and compassion for animals and their owners is incredible. As for Dr. Rachel, she saved our baby. She had a severe infection in her female organs. She was on the verge of becoming septic and at 4 pm on a Friday eve, she said she would do the surgery and she did. She called with an update, she had the technician call in morning, her and Dr. Dan personally met us to get her on a Saturday. These are hands down amazing people and incredible veterinarians! I highly recommend them if you are looking for honesty, care and compassion, not only for the pet but their owners as well. We drive over an hour just to have this type of care for our fur babies. read more

Brought my Scottish Highlander in for routine shots and worming. She also had a sore under her neck, which the gentlemen who was taking care of her said the vet would have to take a look at it. Dr. Turner said it was just an abrasion and didn't need an antibiotic, but if we felt like the cow needed an antibiotic then ok. We decided it couldn't hurt and since we were already at the vet.....well should have taken the vet's advice because his worker mistakenly got a vein or whatever and our cow was dead the next day. Sorry I can't recommend this clinic, though we really like Dr. Turner. read more

It's 6pm on New Year's Eve and one of our pets, Australian Shepherd, had snagged something in the play yard and split his skin down to the muscle. Being the holiday, I had little hope of seeing anyone but an high dollar emergency vet but Dr Dans personal phone was on the telephone message so I sought out his advice. After hearing what happened he said to bring him in and spent the next 3 hours patching him up and making sure he was OK. Remember this was New Years Eve! Dr Dan and his wife Rachel has always taken great care of all our animals (personal and rescue) and has my highest recommendation and respect. Of yeah, I didn't need to sell a kidney to pay for this - very reasonable. I appreciate the Turners and they will be our vets from now on. I understand how emotional these interactions are when our fur babies are involved but sometimes a little perspective and understanding on both sides can ease the pain - I pray for everyone who lost one of their family - for peace and understanding - I do wish you well. read more
