Unless you want a sandwich, don't waste your time here. Our group had reservations for 12. They only had a table for 10 and squeezed in chairs. Waitress announced they were out (since Monday) of roast beef dinner, lemon chicken, prime rib, and steak fillet. Only left a few entrees remaining to choose from. Took a long time for our food to arrive and there were less than 15 other people there. Barbecue ribs were tender but had been reheated so they were dry. I had a pasta dish that was ok. New menu. Basically the old menu only a lot worse. Everything came to the table cold... Twice!!! They're trying to use local product like it's some badge of honor, but I wouldn't eat amor pork if it was the last pork on earth. Staff is wearing all black in the hot sun. We were attending a prom grand march for a local high school, and I though the facility did a very good job with that. Once the event was over, we decided to eat at Willy T's (party of 4) We went and waited for the hostess. The place was moderately busy, but no line. The hostess said she would be with us shortly as she brushed past in a hurry. We could clearly see several open booths, but it was still a 10 minute wait to get seated. Once seated, our waitress took a drink order and provided menus. We then ordered - two prime ribs rare, one medium, and an order of ribs, plus an appetizer of cheese curds. The curds came quickly (very good) , but it took at least 40 minutes for the food to arrive. While we were waiting I watched staff cleaning tables with a spray bottle and wiping with a rag. They would then place the spray bottle and rag on a shelf, in plain view , right next to clean plates and above a shelf of silverware. Not too appetizing, to say the least. The two rare prime ribs were quite good. For 24 dollars, the meat was what I expected, but no choice of potato (you get a stuffed baked russet) or any kind of salad - just a very small unremarkable vegetable medley. The medium prime rib did not have a shade of pink left in it. It was also rather thin. The ribs came on a wooden cutting board, and the rack had been cut apart and they were stacked like Lincoln Logs. The top two ribs looked good, and were passable, but the others underneath were dry and appeared to have been re-heated in a microwave. The table service was not the best either - we got what we ordered, but had to remind them that menu stated horseradish. The server seemed to pay closer attention once we had the bill, and could tell we were not happy. The place is nice, with nice views, and I hope they can sort it out, but the whole staff just seemed to be disinterested. We have eaten here several times and have always had good food. The cheese curds are the best I've had and we always enjoy the caesar salad with tuna steak. Good beers on tap as well. No issues with the service as well. read more

This used to be one of our favorite places to eat, but the past two times we went the service was horrendous. First time we waited 15 minutes to be seated, the resteraunt had at total of 15 people inside and out, we finally sat down since we were tired of waiting and had two small kids with us. One of the hottest came over and said a server would be with us shortly. She went and told a male server that we were waiting. He looked right at us and said he could not take one more table!!! We walked out. Two weeks later we had company up so we decided to try our luck again. We wanted to watch the Vikes game our waitress said she didn't know where the remote was and walked away. We asked the manager and got the same response. Hello we live in Minnesota, it's Sunday, figure it out!!!! I asked for a bloody Mary, she said they don't make those when Cleary I had been there before and it's on your menu!!!! I ordered a gyro, when brought out the meat was like beef jerry and it did not have the sauce on it, the waitress said they ran out. Thanks for telling me before I ordered!!! My sister ordered half a sandwhich a soup, the waitress brought out a full sandwhich and fries. She said I don't this this is mine. The waitress looked at her and said very rudely, it's probably one of the other tables l, you know there are other people eating too?! Really?!?! We counted 22 people there, 4 waitresses, one hostess. This waitress had Cleary chose the wrong industry to work in, she had no customer service skills what so ever. We also witnessed a group of 7 walk in while we left and they were told by the same waitress that it would be a long wait and was really rude. The lady from the group said, "fine we will go to the Otter." Like I said our family used to enjoy going there, it's so sad to see a place with such great potential being ran so poorly. read more

I used to make a special trip to go to Willy T's and would even stay overnight at Thumper Pond to have a delicious dinner and let the kids play but something has changed. I went there three weeks ago and again today and had the same experience. The service was polite but could never be found. There was no one to fill coffees or get drinks despite there being plenty of staff on and not overly busy. The wait for the food is ridiculous, both times we waited for over an hour after ordering for our food. Today I went up front to ask for coffee and for refills for my family. The refills came but the coffee never did. I ordered the seafood pasta and the smell of old seafood was so overwhelming I couldn't even try it. I also asked for plain butter noodles for my son. They came out brownish in color and when I tried them they were so awful I had to wash away the flavor as quickly as I could (both dishes were sent back and taken off of our bill). There were 9 of us and the rest of the food came out cold, the cheese in the kid's quesadilla was not even slightly melty still. Terrible food and even worse service! I ordered a veggie burger and I was brought a beef burger because they were "out" of their homemade veggie patties and thought it would be okay to bring a vegetarian a plate of beef. Every visit since then has gotten even worse! read more
