I feel it strange to not say my opinion of how my MANY YEARS shopping and Spending Money and Time at this Business has been for me. Yes , I knew the couple yrs ago that used to be the original owners. They then sold it two a couple and together with their daughter and son in law put Stonebridge on the Map. If you combine Four person's , and years of knowledge that thru Classes and Experience and the Love of the Business , you will find a wealth of knowledge. These folks made sure that every person shopping had left not only with the finest plants , tree or bushes etc. Satisfaction seemed important to these owners and every employee they tried to keep had lessons in every part of the operation. The current owners of Stonebridge Nursery had started out as employees and learned the business of making Smile's on Gardener's faces. I can not say enough about the help that these folks have given me and my family over many years. All a person needs to do is go in and see the products and have a dream and Stonebridge will do what they can to make things come true. My yard over the years has many Stonebridge flowers , plants and I have enjoyed them very much. Ready for spring so I can buy everything I need to get started at Stonebridge in Claremore. We drove past several times before finally stopping in with my two littles. After doing so, I can guarantee that we will not be coming back. This is truly not the fault of the various artists whose work is sold here- a lot of the products displayed were actually very pretty and nice. We may have bought something if it were not for the older woman worker there who made us feel very uncomfortable. The moment we walked through the door, she hovered around us, standing uncomfortably close to myself and my children. The smell of cigarette smoke inside the building was overbearing. When I told her we were just browsing, she ignored me and then became pushy with my children, frantically showing them product after product in an attempt to get us to buy something before we walked out the door. She would not take a hint as I had to repeatedly physically move my children away from her. On our way out of the door, she made a remark about how difficult people can be and how life would be easier for her if others could just adopt the "happy hippie way." Overall just a really odd experience. If you do shop here, please do not send your children in alone with cash because this woman really does not take no for an answer.
