Do not expect a parking lot... all cars will need to park off the street. Old Beach Park is a medium size playground setting on a bed of mulch that has been recently upgraded. Recommended for the kids 10&U. This place is sure to be a hit as it was my my children today. My kids loved the sea saw which you don't find anymore. No restroom facilities are present, so no surprises when you arrive and have to hear the annoying "I have to go to the bathroom" A small shelter is present along with a lot of room for the kids to run around. Many tall pines are on the grounds adding to the ambiance of the park. There is also tennis courts present, but I am sure if this is a park, or middle school facility. Yes it's a small park, but safe and perfect for the little ones to have a blast. I can easily see this as a great location to hold a kids party. Bring a picnic on a visit, the kids will have a ball.

So it is people and pet friendly. They have doggy bag dispensers so you can pick up after your pets. Love all the picnic areas, Very family friendly. This is residential with plenty of mature trees and a paved walking area along with a dirt path to bike, walk, great for runners, wheel chair friendly and great for strollers. This location is on the Virginia Beach/Norfolk line. This is a neighborhood park maintained by the city of Virginia Beach. It's behind the Farm Fresh grocery strip mall at the corner of Diamond Springs Rd. and Wesleyan Dr. I am surprised that I never saw it before, but you can see it even though it's back a ways. Parking is off the street and plenty of it for a neighborhood park. Hours are sun up to sun down. The area is safe for children to play and recreate. The playground is nothing special at all. It's a very basic park with almost no amenities. The equipment is in good condition, I saw no graffiti on any surface. There are four pieces of equipment. The central playground, two sets of swings that include toddler swings and a climbing piece. There are two benches within the playground. The mulch appears fresh and no debris has been present. There is also a small shelter with a picnic table. However, there is no BBQ grill which you will usually find. I have been there on several occasions with debris present in the shelter area. A trash can is present by the shelter was had been recently emptied. There are no restrooms which is customary at these type of small local parks like this. This is NOT a Virginia Beach sanctioned dog park. There is no station for picking up dog litter at the park.The field behind the playground is humongous and not fenced. By far this green space is the best thing Cypress Point has going for it. The grass is not out of control, but on my last visit it was overdue for a mow. Bottom line, the park is extremely functional as a park and the green space makes it useful for both kids and dogs. I find the park convenient for me since I reside close and find myself at VWC several times a week. I am a 2.5, round to a 3.

Parking is by street only. Access is off Great Neck Road and you can enter the neighborhood, or park in the rear of the school. The park consist of a shelter, a 12&U play area and a tiny field to run and play ball. No restrooms on the grounds. Parents must supervise children as only the back and sides are fenced. The residential road side is not secure. What impressed me the most was is the fact it was so tidy. No debris any where. Trash can are present around the shelter and they were within boundaries. If your in the area and looking for a super quiet park for young children I would recommend.

This park is so small and at the end of a road that there were no official parking spots. There were two good size play sets with slides and bars. We didn't actually play on them so I wasn't able to see any broken parts. It didn't look to be. There were adequate amount of mulch in the play area. I'm so glad to have found this little play area. I'll be back with the family!

There is some limited parking available here. All city parks, including this one, are open from dawn until dusk daily. My most recent visit here was on August 23, 2023. I pass by this park each day when entering or leaving the neighborhood. I also visit this park regularly as well, even if it's just for a short amount of time. The park may be small, but it does have much to offer. There is plenty of open space here. You will also find some pickleball courts (it's in the area where there were tennis courts prior to the pandemic), which tend to be busy most of the time. The park also has a basketball court. Like most parks, there is a playground, which was fully replaced in June 2023. There is a lake here as well that you can get close to, but you will likely need to see through some trees to do so in some spots. If you happen to play Pokémon GO, there is a Pokéstop at the playground and there is a gym for it where the park sign is located. There is some seating available, and one of those areas is covered. However, there isn't much in the way of shade spots at the park. Since I like to keep my activity up, I didn't really stay in one spot anyways. There are some trash cans available. If you are looking for a restroom here, you won't find one available since the park is pretty small. You would likely need to go to the Miller Mart to use the restroom, if needed. Overall, this is a very nice park. It may be small when compared to some other parks in the city, but it still has much to offer in its beauty and amenities. If you happen in the area and just want to take a quick break to take in the scenes and unwind, this is a good place to come.

This review is just for their pickleball courts…read more I came here recently to play pickleball. They have 4 outdoor courts. Court surfaces are adequate. Some surfaces have minor cracks on it. The courts are fenced in, but doesn't provide any wind protection during windy days. For example, at Pickleball VB, their main courts have a tarp surrounding the outside of the fence, and helps with control windy conditions. Overall, not a bad alternative in the area, when there's a tournament being held at Pickleball VB.

There's also a killer juvenile obstacle course for all the junior operators in your family unit - and a legit tire swing with a 100% artificial, non-organic tire to lose your lunch on whilst spinning like a nut-job! Think that's all? No way man! There's grass, lots and lots of grass for your dog to sniff and relieve itself on... just be sure to pack everything out in an air-tight container (cause it's the law)! "Yo, is that a Blackhawk hovering over my head?" You might ask yourself that at least once during your visit here - the answer is yes, but shhhhhhh... OPSEC. Come play kids! There is one trash can not far from it.
