I have relied on Jack's Guitararcheology to solve those problems for me. Recently, a fret level on a Greco 65 SG model. Superb work by his team. Today, I picked up a 51 Precision Bass reissue that needed a full setup, some serious upper fret work and unusually long screws for the saddles. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and just plain cool. They do really awesome setups and repairs for a lot less money than other places. The boss is a one eyed beagle named Toby, make sure you go by and pet him.
