Improper tint installation and damage to vehicle GUARANTEED! If you point out the damages Wilson will tell you "c'mon you can barely see that". Your weather strips will be cut into. If you take your vehicle back more damages and an even worse job would be done. I'm a firm believer that all positive reviews are from his family and friends and not actual customers. This place is a SCAM and they do not know what they are doing! I paid $550 and my tints already peeling and bubbling. They don't cut and size the tint properly and they don't remove all the water from behind the tint. They'll tell you it'll take 2 hours to finish but will finish it in 4 and if you take it back it'll be another 3 hours and the tint would be the same that they put on the first time. read more

I came and got my windows tinted in August 2021. All sides, rear and top of the front window. In January of 2022, my driver's side tint started to roll up in the corner. It looks and sounds extremely horribly. I went back to Wilson's to see about them replacing the tint. I could not find my receipt. I tossed it a few months after getting the tint on....I never had tint come up or off any car windows before. The front desk lady was adamant I need the receipt because the receipt was the warranty proof. That I should have kept the yellow copy they gave me. If it's under warranty then why don't they have a copy of the warranty also? Anyway, thanks Black Owned business, I'll take my business elsewhere. I refused to go another summer in Houston without tinted windows so I had been searching for a shop that did great work without breaking the bank... My brother suggested that I give Wilson's a try. I arrived here on a Monday morning about 10:15 AM. The guy that was working was very friendly and courteous. He started work on my car quickly after we discussed pricing. The waiting area is clean, they have a television to watch while you wait. It took him probably about an hour and a half to finish my car and I must say that I am 100% pleased with the work that was done. I ended up paying about $85 for tint on a 4 door sedan, which is and amazing price. These folks do outstanding work and the tint is under warranty for a year. Definitely worth a try! read more

I use them for one of my vehicles in the past. They did a decent job, I didn't have any problems, it took about two hours but overall I was satisfied. I took another car in and had the same experience. The third car I took in I was told that they couldn't do tent on the back windows because of a panel that needed to come off. I thought it was strange because this car was the identical car, to the car that I had brought in in the past, where there was no problem taking off the panel. Nevertheless I took this vehicle to another place who completed the tent. I did bring it back to Wilson's so that they could tent the front window which they did. I brought the same car back two weeks later because the tent on the two front windows was a little too dark for me, so I wanted them to remove the tent and add a lighter tent. They again told me they wouldn't remove it or put on a lighter tint. Even though these were the two front windows that they said they could do, they absolutely refused to remove the tent and add a lighter tint with no explanation as to why. Nonetheless I'm over Wilson's. I think they pick and choose what they feel like doing, which is their prerogative, But they're just not consistent. Won't be going back there again. read more

Ok this place I have mix feelings . The GOOD ,they do the job right as long as they not rushing , 100 in total for all windows, and cool atmosphere . BAD-don't say anything about going somewhere else bout tint because a guy would say you trying to give the white man money . Know your car will be on full blast ac for about a hour , so don't go there with low gas , they can get rude even if you have a valid point , and even thought they tint well . **Let me first start off by saying that a week after getting my tint done, I have taken it elsewhere to have it take off and re-done. I was referred to Wilson Tint shop by a mutual friend of mine and the owner. I was initially hesitant at first, being it was a small business and originally wanted to go to a more established, reputable company. Being that he had a small, black business... I decided to support him. I drive a 2 door Mercedes-Benz coupe. So therefore, I definitely wanted quality tint and work done on my car. However, after getting there, the owner, Wilson, wasn't much of a people person. The first question I asked was what brand of tint he would be using. He replied, "What brand do you want?" So I'm confused... Wondering how am I OR why would I tell you what brand when I don't know what you have to offer. So he sent me inside the office to speak with a young man, who happened to be his son. I looked at the 3 packages they offered and I selected one. After they finished, there was a large, noticeable smudge under the tint on the driver window that I pointed out and Wilson had one of his guys remove the entire tint and re-do it. I also noticed bubbles all on the windows towards the edges. I was told that they would go away after about 4 days (the length of time they said to leave the windows up). This happened on a Friday... Day 3, Monday, I called Wilson to ask could I get a full refund (being that it was just a few short days ago) and have the tint taken off because I was not happy. He asked who was I and what did I drive. He then proceeds to tell me that I didn't want my tint done anyway and that I wanted to take my money and give it to the "White Man". I was in total shock that he would come at a customer that way. Even though I was originally hesitant about him doing my tint, it had nothing to do about being black or white. It was about professionalism and quality. After he said that, He then asks me, "Are you a Donald Trump supporter?" I said... "Are you kidding me???" I asked him about a refund, not to be ridiculed. So he told me to bring it in this week and that he would not give me a refund, only a re-do because it comes with a one year warranty. I told him that I would just like him to take it off and he could keep the $95. I asked did I need to make an appointment, he stated, "Just come in anytime this week". I left work an hour early that following Thursday and went by. As I was pulling up, I saw Wilson, his son, and another guy under the garage. I parked my car. As soon as I got out, the son came up to me and stated that his dad sent him out here to see what I wanted. I told him that I wanted to see and speak to Wilson because I had already spoken with him earlier that week. He said, "He's busy and doesn't have time". Clearly that yet even further unprofessional. So I spoke with the son. He went back and told his dad. The son came back and told me that his dad would re-do the back windows but that's it. I told him I didn't want a re-do... I wanted them taken off. He asked when did I want it done, I told him I'd come back because they would be closing soon and they had other cars to do. So I returned the following week, on a Saturday morning. Same thing happened. But this time, he had a woman talking to me. She was extremely rude, as I was being as nice as I could be to ignorance. She told me that I couldn't get my car done because warranty work is only done on certain days (which was not explained to me prior to) and I told her that I didn't want to utilize my warranty, that I wanted to have the tint taken off. She said that would be $65!!! WTF? I said ok and walked out. I didn't flip out until I went to my car to leave and came to realize that this man not only took my money, but refused to talk with me. So I decided to go to where he was. He didn't have to be a man, own up to his responsibility and talk with me. I'd do it for him. As I walked up to the garage, I called his name, and I told him how unhappy I was and how unprofessional it was of him to have me come up there twice and not see or speak with me each time. I also told him that I do not appreciate having him send messengers to do his work for him. That's when the girl said, "I'm not a messenger, I'm his wife!" As if I gave a darn who or what she was. I told them to keep my $95 as a donation since they obviously needed it that bad. The owner said, "Bitch leave... Get out of here!" LOL... Really??? The owner!!! Yeah... the same black man that said I wanted to take my money and spend it with the "White Man". Oh and as for his lovely wife, he had to hold her back from "fighting me". Not one time did I flinch or act as if I was going to hit her. Like I said, It's not about the money per se. It's the principle and how he and his work crew handles business. I've had 5 cars tinted here and they always do a great job on the work. Pack your patience and be prepared to wait, or arrive very early. Bring some form of entertainment, like a tablet or smartphone and headphones. The waiting room is small and fills up quickly, so leave the kids at home. The TV is usually playing loudly. read more

Do not go here! The owner, Mr. Wilson is VERY rude!!! He has absolutely NO customer service skills, and is not a people person AT ALL. I arrived early(before they opened), and was the first customer there. I explained to the owner the look that I was going for and the level of darkness I wanted. I then asked him for his best advice to help me achieve this look. His response was "That's not my decision. You should know what you want, and be able to tell me. I can't tell you what to get. That's on you." ~Being a female, I'm not really knowledgeable about the percentages and everything, but I did know the look I wanted to achieve. Went to Wilsons today. This is the 4th car we have had the tints done. PERFECT EVERY TIME Mr Wilson is business only no BS.

I went to Wilson Tint and I was not happy, I had to wait 7 hrs, the receptionist put two ppl in front of me and they confirmed to me that I was there before them. of course she denied it, so I did not want any trouble so I kept most of my thoughts to myself. I wanted to leave so bad but I had already invested 4 1/2 hours. so I stayed as unhappy customer! The next day the tint was bubbly on the back window had smear marks for days underneath the tint, I returned the next day as soon as they opened, and the owner was not friendly at all towards me, I am the one that should be angry for wasting my time and money. I will NEVER go back to them or refer them to anyone. I had to wait 3 hrs and I questioned why I had to wait since I was the first one there? The son told me because I was warranty work and they gotta get their money from the other customers FIRST!
