I would like to highly recommend Wilson Heating and air. These wonderful people were recommended to me via a friend and I couldn't have asked for a better company to address my needs. I had already done my research on what I needed via a home inspector and a family member who owns a similar business in another state so I knew roughly what I needed and the price. The Wilson team conducted a thorough investigation and made very reasonable recommendations and suggestions for improvements outside of their business on how best to address my air conditioning needs. To my pleasure, they came in under my estimate, didn't attempt to up-sell me, were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual while being able to schedule my home very quickly even in 100 degree plus weather. There were follow up visits to tweak the new system which was worked into my schedule and part of their wonderful warranty coverage. There were never any complaints and it became clear of their priorities, customer service, quality products and workmanship, and finally pride in making the customer happy. No one likes to spend money on air conditioning needs however Wilson Heating and Air will make the process as easy as it can possibly be. We have worked with Wilson Heat and Air for the last nine years. They did the install of our new heat pump when we moved to O'Brien from south Florida. Mike did our install and is usually the tech to respond to any issues we have had, he is excellent and has always responded quickly. The folks in the office have always been friendly and provided us with great customer service. Today we had them install new ductwork for us, as always, they did a great job for a good price. Tech just put freon in unit and did not run diagnostics. They were selected for us from our Home Warranty program from our new home in Waxhaw. I felt like he just bandaged problem and didn't really fix anything. Probably a waste of money on the freon I had him put in but since i had already paid $100 for service call to warrant program felt I should do it. By the way, the freon wasn't covered by the home warranty so that was on me at full cost. read more

I was assigned Wilson's HVAC by AHS 7/10. The technician Scott came out 7/13 and made the assessment that my first stage compressor on my Trane unit was not working and would call in the repair to AHS to have it replaced or repaired. I had independently had another HVAC company come out and they made the same assessment so I knew he was being honest. I stood there with Scott as he diagnosed the issue and told me on 7/13 that he would call it in to AHS to have the system replaced since the faulty compressor was on an r22 unit and would ask for AHS to replace the entire unit. I then heard nothing from Wilson's HVAC or AHS over the next week. I grew concerned and called on Thursday to see what the status was and learned that they had not even contacted AHS yet on the repair and claimed they had sent me a quote for thousands of dollars to upgrade my system. It was also at this point that I was told that Scott the technician was now claiming that the compressor was in fact not faulty. So here is the rundown so far: first Scott comes out and I witness him checking the compressor and him telling me it's bad while I'm standing there. Tells me he's calling it in to be fixed that day...he doesn't, I call on Thursday and learn nothing has been done but the diagnosis has been mysteriously changed from a faulty compressor to nothing was wrong with my system (even though it was not cooling) but instead sent a quote to upgrade my system 4 days later when I call wondering what is going on. When I called Thursday the lady that handled the customers waffled back and forth when I was surprised that they were now saying that the compressor is good 4 days after telling me it was shot. She said that she would correct it and submit it to AHS with the original diagnosis that day. I call back Friday to check if it had been submitted yet and the folks working the phones did everything thing they could to avoid taking my call. I then call Monday morning 7/20 and I was told that the diagnosis was changed again...this time it was working. When I called out the inconsistency and apparent misrepresentations that were being thrown back and forth by their company to my self and AHS I was told that they would transfer the ticket to another company. read more

Driving on Sardis Rd N., had just crossed Monroe, I'm in the right lane. It merges left to a single lane. I had room to merge and turned on my signal. A Wilson HVAC truck was behind me to the left. As soon as i turned on my blinker the driver gunned the engine and cut me off from merging. I called the office and spoke with the office manager. She asked if it was two guys, and said she would take care of it. When we got to the light at Sardis I told the guys that I had called their office to let them know they cut me off. My nightmare with Wilson started in July when we moved here from the West Coast. Our air stopped working and it was still covered under AHS homeowners insurance. They came out and said I need a brand new ducting system and air flow piece. The technician advised he would turn it in as such. 2 weeks later, heard nothing back, come to find out they never turned it in to AHS. Once it was finally turned in (and several phone calls to do so), I wait, and wait, and wait. Now we are in September and my family was just miserable, I call Wilsons and they advised they have yet to receive the parts and tried blaming it on the whole "pandemic shortage" . They said they would notify me as soon as they received the parts. So I waited patiently trying to check in every other week or so, but ALWAYS being sent to their voicemail. I then received an email from AHS asking me to survey how my services were with Wilson. Their records showed my job was completed!! I called AHS and they said the parts were sent to Wilson in the beginning of August! I told them we sat in heat all summer now the cold is moving in and we are walking around with layers of clothing and having to buy space heaters. They were shocked and said they will call Wilson (good luck). They called back and said it went to voicemail and they left a message. On a side note, they also shared with me that Wilson indicated the ducting system was in code violation and needed to be replaced and it over 4K. AHS said that since Wilson indicated our parts were code violation, they do not cover. Our system in not in any violation, it just past a home inspection for our purchase and our technician said NOTHING of the sort when he was out here. So now I have learned the air flow part was sent to Wilson but nothing for the ducting system because they marked a box saying it didn't meet some code! I never received this quote or had NO CLUE that was the case! Here we have been sitting here waiting for all the parts and assuming everything was going to be covered. Wilson sent this 4k quote to AHS, but never to us. Here we sit, now in November, in a house that is 52 degrees in the morning and my 5 year old wakes up with a runny nose and sits in the hot bath to keep warm. It is a a SCAM! Beware of this company and how they are running parts they are getting from insurance companies. I seriously don't know how they haven't been shut down or called out on this nonsense. Whoever has my parts, I hope you are enjoying them and your warm house....uuugh read more
