They did an amazing installation and cleaned up and took away my old furnace and HVAC. They were very professional, knowledgeable and answered in detail all of my questions. I highly recommend Anthony's Plumbing, Heating & Electrical. Also, as a ASAP member the process was so easy and the installation was next day service.

This was, without question, the worst customer service experience our family has ever had…read more We trusted Anthony to install, maintain, and service our HVAC system for years. In September 2023, our AC was diagnosed as low on refrigerant, and we paid $463.51 to have refrigerant added. No leak search was recommended or documented. Years later, when we formally complained, Anthony admitted in writing that a leak search should have been offered. Unfortunately, by the time the problem resurfaced in 2026, major components were no longer covered the way they would have been had the issue been properly investigated earlier. In July 2026, Anthony again charged us to add refrigerant. Five days later, our entire system failed. We hired an independent certified HVAC technician who spent over four hours evaluating the system and identified multiple issues, including that it had been overcharged with refrigerant. While he could not definitively say that caused the compressor failure, he explained that an overcharged system can place significant stress on a compressor. What disappointed us most wasn't just the HVAC work--it was how the company handled the situation afterward. We experienced conflicting information from different employees, canceled appointments, and repeated communication problems. We tried to resolve everything privately through detailed emails and documentation before ever considering a public review. Although Anthony acknowledged that a leak search should have been recommended in 2023, they denied reimbursement. We also requested the HVAC Manager's documentation supporting their decision, but that request was never answered. After exhausting every reasonable effort to resolve this directly, we filed complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies and shared our experience publicly so other homeowners can make an informed decision. If you're considering Anthony, my advice is simple: get a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs or replacing your HVAC system. Keep copies of every invoice, every email, and every recommendation. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Anthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric.

The technician Colby arrived on time, and was able to deduce that the hose to the drain pan was clogged. He was able to fix the issue right away, and show me where the pan was incase it happened again. The quality of his service was exceptional. I have been contacting ECS Geothermal for all of my service needs (even though, I do not have their brand of Geothermal furnace), and they have always fixed my issue/service my furnace with great quality of service

I had a bad experience with ECS and its management. I had two geothermal units installed and one…read morewas completely faulty. It wasn't only the unit that was bad that would keep me from recommending them though. When they went to install the geothermal lines I was told that they would be installed underground at a depth that would be more constant and help cool for the summer and heat for the winter. That is a wonderful idea for helping to save on electric bills. When I checked on the installer of the piping I noticed he was only digging 3ft deep and when I said that is only the frost zone he told me that if he went deeper he would break regulations and have to shore up the sides. That did not meet with the presentation of the owner of the company. There were also many other inconsistencies that we experienced moving forward. Such as a one unit leaking refrigerant and needing to be charged within the first year. That Water Furnace unit was consistently breaking and needing replacement parts. So I decided to call the manufacturer and they didn't have any record of ECS contacting them about any problems which I was told they had negotiated for repairs. I now have a new repair company and we are replacing that Water Furnace geothermal unit as it is too costly to maintain. Our other unit has only been worked on once and it works fairly well. That's after we had the return vent fixed which fell down since it was only held together with duct tape. They used the method most lazy contractors use "you can never use too much duct tape". Well I'm having the new repair company use strapping with screws to hold up the return vent. Be very weary of the management and repair guys, the owner is pushy and only cares about her income. She tried to sell me refrigerant in February since my unit needed it yearly and she had guys not working. It would have been better to offer a repair to my yearly ordeal. Beware of their promises and what you receive as they installed a unit that was insufficient for my needs that were on the blueprints. There were too many problems with ECS so I decided to call another service company and they are more reasonable.
