I've been going to the park for a number of years and I love how the new updated playgrounds our world cup and they even have a shaded area on the slide so hopefully no the children got burned. There's also a toddler playground as well as to baseball fields! Great heart for local families but not too many parking spaces.

Discovered this little treasure of a park recently. They seem to be doing lots of construction, but one of the highlights is the new play structure that for children 5-12 years old. They have monkey bars and various other items that give children a chance to use different muscle groups. At the entrance there is an older play structure that may have undergone some renovation. That is where you will find the swings a few different slides. This park is a good spot for children to bicycle or ride around on their scooter. I didnt really see many dogs. It is also popular for those who are interested in ceramics, because the ceramics club (classes, etc.) is built right into Wilson park. Lots of grass where you can picnic as well!

This is our thing now in the Covid times...we look for new hiking trails and for new parks in the Bay Area. You have to keep yourself occupied and productive! One such search brought us here. It is a pretty nice park with nice views of the hills.

Generally quiet and little to no traffic. It has a playground, baseball diamond, and great pathway for walks. Seen many ignoring the signs on dogs required to be leashed. What they don't understand is that it's also for their own dog's protection as well. Ever thought about your dog approaching another who may not be so harmless? Think about it.

The gated field that isn't Phil Matthew's Field has one open gate so I can let my dogs in there to run off-leash. Yes, this is illegal, but that's what Cupertino gets for not having a dog park. We play in the outfield so they don't mess up the dirt between the bases and they don't bother anyone. They'd be fine running off-leash on an open field, but people in Cupertino are really skiddish when they see dogs, especially dogs off-leash, so I try to keep them contained. The rest of the park is nice - playgrounds, lots of grass, bathrooms and water fountains easily accessible. In addition to the 2 gated baseball fields, there's another one that's open. There's plenty of parking on the street if you come from the Blaney side. If you're on the Portal side, there's street parking and unless it's a really nice day in the later afternoon when all the parents and kids go to the park, there's always parking there. It's a nice place to walk or jog around if you don't want to go to Creekside and just walk the track. Come on by with your dog and join us in the baseball field. It'd be nice to meet some dog friendly people in Cupertino for once... **UPDATE 3/28/08** The darn field was locked up today! Why would they lock up the field in a public park? Seriously...NO ONE uses it. I'd understand if it was getting abused or whatnot, but it's not! OPEN UP THE FREAKIN' GATE so it can be used by the PUBLIC. Duh! Until then...my dogs will have to run free in the rest of the park ;)

I went looking on yelp for a different park than we are used too. This park has a great playground for toddlers that is gated. It has big kids swings and baby swings. It has a pretty cool sandbox and a hill with two slides going down it and two sets of stairs to walk up and a rubber ground around it incase the kiddos fall. There is also one more slide slide coming down from a hill. There is great shade going around the parameter of the park but none In the middle where the kids might be running around more. It would be nice if there was a little play structure for the toddlers to climb on. Across the field a little bit from the toddler playground there is a big kid playground with lots of different climbing choices and obstacles for the kids to try. Surprisingly they have a mandate shade structure over the slide so it does t get hot. There is a huge field and baseball fields as well. There is also a nice path the kids can ride their bikes or scooters on. There is a bathroom pretty close to the toddler park and street parking on Wintergreen Dr. the kids really enjoyed this park. The only con I see is that the main area where the kids play isn't shaded and seems like it would get pretty hot.

My childhood haunt. Although the old bridge, tire swings and sprinklers are gone, it's still my park.

We came on the evening on a Friday, which is perfect for just talking a nice stroll or hike around, but after seeing that they had a bearded dragon (Matilda) and a chuckwalla (Chuck), I knew I had to come back again to meet them. Parking is free and love the wildlife that is around here. Not just the butterflies that I've seen fluttering about but also the coyote that trotted across the lot to cross the street. This is also a great location to find activities to do with the family or with the community. They have a 4 H Club, a community garden that you can sign up for, an entire calendar of events for the month, a Blacksmithing workshop/demonstration, and much more. We were limited on time and didn't get to see the historical buildings or the restored structures, nor was the Blacksmith Shop open, but for our next visit, I'll be sure to check them out. Outside you can meet the alpaca that they have hanging out (freshly shaved for the summer, so it was funny to see the little tufts of hair that they had on their head) and some of their goats too. Now to the highlight of my visit, the Environmental Education Center. Obviously this is meant for kids and families, but I had a great time meeting their animal ambassadors (I didn't ask for them to be taken out, but I'm sure there are events and moments for that) and learning more about them. The staff there are very friendly, welcoming, and informative. It makes me happy to know that the ambassadors that I inquired about were rescues and they have a second chance at life and in educating the community. My favs were obviously Matilda and Chuck, but there are also various snakes, turtles, a toad, fish, tarantulas, and stick bugs. The center also has books, opportunities for hands on observations and journaling for kids, puppets and educational toys and exhibits, and much more. Definitely will come back!

There are huge, luscious lawns where people will set up volleyball games on weekends. If you have kids, there is a cute playground with plenty of fun slides. I really enjoy walking along the expanse of the park. As a new pickleball player, this is my go-to location to practice. There are eight courts and a neat queuing system. Because of the clear queue, there is always a very tidy line to play pickleball. What I love about the pickleball courts here is that there are two sides divided by skill level. If you're a pro pickleball player, the advanced side has a line of extremely skilled competitors. If you're just starting out, the beginner side has a good amount of new players to practice with. It does get very busy during certain times, like on weekends or after work. However, the queuing system prevents any confusion when the crowds get big. I absolutely love pickleballing at this park and highly recommend to beginners and more advanced players!

I'm a beginner hiker so it's challenging enough to give me a workout. Most of the trail is exposed with greenery around but could be hot in the Summer. There's an educational center with farm animals (goats, huge pigs, cows) and a volunteer supported garden, Deer Hollow Farm. It's open to public most of the week. There's also a historic cabin built in the 1850's preserved and look like a small museum that showcases what life may have been like back then. There's a permanent restroom at the parking lot. Along the trail, there's also a smaller porta potty type but permanent restroom. Plenty of parking.

That particular round trip is probably less than 2.5 miles round trip, mostly flat, and much of it you have a choice of walking on paved roads/trails so good for strollers. The farm is open until 4pm most days, but be aware this is not a petting zoo, you just get to see the sheep, goats, pigs, cows, rabbits, ducks etc. Still fun for kids, my son loved it when he was little. My favorite hike is to go past the farm and then take the Wildcat Loop trip, you get some great views from up there, that's about 4.5 miles round trip from parking lot with some elevation gain. Our new favorite trail is the Mora Trail which branches off before you get to the farm and goes up to beautiful open vistas. Parking - very hard to find parking on weekend mornings and early afternoons. And don't park illegally, they will ticket you. Trails past the farm tend to be much less used.
