Despite our being a new customer and their being "booked solid until a week from Friday," they had a plumber out that afternoon to fix the sink and another out first thing the next morning to locate and fix the leak. Both Mike and Kenny were great, and the bill was a pleasant surprise. But for their quick work, our week at the beach likely would have turned into a one-night stay.

Part of being a good contractor is showing up and getting back with people. If he said that he wasn't interested, or was too busy, I would of looked for someone else. Instead I lost valuable time and had to try and get another plumber. Luckily I found someone who not only is happy to the job, but returns calls. Not even a difficult job. Maybe he's a good plumber, I'll never know. This review is based on the fact that he did come to my house, and did say that he would give me a price. Therefore, I did officially use his business. At 11 I get a call saying he's running behind and asks where I'm located? Of course, he's had my address since Thursday afternoon. Now he tells me I'm out of his service area and he doesn't know why it was assigned to him. I explained that I haven't had a sink since Thursday, that my dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and my counter was covered in dirty dishes. I told him I didn't want to start the process over. We agreed we would both call and ask Home Waranty to pay him something for the extra travel. I don't think he called them but I don't know that for sure. What I do know is several hours later, I called and the case manager. While I was on hold, she called him but they could not come to a reasonable agreement. I asked what is reasonable? She said he had asked for an extra $250. I am 31 miles away from his business.

He stated it needed an Expansion Tank, which it probably does and is not covered by AHS, but how much? "$600"!!! Complain to AHS if he does this to you!!!!
