When presenting what the company was offering, the salesperson showed gutters with included leaf guards. She never indicated that these were a separate purchase, leading us to believe they were included in the purchase. After installation, we found out the leaf guards were not installed and were told they were not included in the contract. When questioned about the misrepresentation in the sales presentation, we were offered a 30% discount if we wanted the leaf guards installed - an additional cost of $1,300. Feeling that the misrepresentation by the salesperson - whether unintentional or not - should have been covered by the company and not merely discounted by them, we cannot in good conscience fully recommend White Pine Renovation.

I pray that you never loose a spouse and learn it is much more then a sob story. I had 1 person out months before, that was a relative. Otherwise I didn't call anyone, you were first here and first offer. Like I said I didn't know what I was doing and should of had more estimates. Everything up to the final product was good rating. A total of 3-4 more cuts of the huge logs left would have made it what I was told and a 5 star. It's sad you couldn't just send someone out to finish what I was told I would get for $1000. Also the tree was not an insurance job. I paid that part out of pocket, not that it is any of your business who pays my bills. 3 - 4 more cuts, would have made it workable... They also have mulch, sand, gravel and all kinds of supplies for making ponds. The people there are very knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable on the raw materials, and sometimes better than some of the larger stores like Lowes and Menards. For the small garden stuff, they have a very nice gift store as well, although sometimes I found their selection somewhat limited.
