I went here from a recommendation by a friend. The salon is very disorganized and run down looking. The chairs are ripped and cracked and there is storage shelving along the walls filled with paper towels and other items. This place could use a serious tune up. While the prices are reasonable the service is not great. I got a gel pedicure that came out decent but my dip "manicure" is a mess. They are not shaped around the cuticle so my hair keeps getting snagged, and there are large built up spots around the sides. I also never received the actual "manicure" portion of the service. - No soaking, no cuticle trimming, no massage, NADA. During my nail service the woman next to me was sat to remove either dip or gel nails. After unwrapping her nails the man began yanking off cotton balls that were somehow adhered to her nails. Once he pulled them all off he used the dremel tool to remove the rest of the glued on cotton. Once removed the woman's nails were all ripped and broken at the edges. I will never go there again. The man who did my nails rushed and was so coarse that I was cut in 3 places by the nail file. He did not listen to what I asked for in either shape OR length. It was the third time I went there, and the experiences before that were similar but not as bad as yesterday. Save your money and find a good salon. BTW: those nails are SUPPOSEDLY acrylic. I have been going to this nail salon for 8 years. It is family owned and operated by one of the nicest most genuine families I have ever met. They are hard working individuals who put everything they have into what they do at Wilson's. They will be happy to shape your nails how you like them, all you have to do is ask. They give great pedicures as well. I'm not sure why there are negative comments on here to be honest. I witness them sterilizing all equipment and they just recently replaced their tables and pedicure chairs. As to those that commented on food smells: this family doesn't leave the premises from the time they arrive in the morning until they lock the door to go home at night. At some point they have to eat. It is unfortunate that you "don't like the smells" but it's unreasonable to think that people can't at some point, heat up lunch or dinner. My nails have always been beautifully done and my pedicures as well. I have had full acrylics, SNS nails and now have my own nails. Through out the eight years I have been coming I have never once been treated rudely and never once had a problem with my nails. Unfortunately on some of my visits I have witnessed customers being demanding and rude to the employees but they have handled it very professionally each time. If you are thinking of coming here don't hesitate. They WILL take good care of you and WILL do a great job. If you are fortunate they may even share some of the great Vietnamese food that others on here complain about smelling. lol read more

No hello, no welcome, no greeting of any kind, no smile from anyone start to finish. Even the customers looked unfriendly. A cursory "pick out color" were the only words uttered. This place is absurd! Forced to paying $80 for a shit job. Went back for my refund that Nick (the manger) promised me and got yelled at. Had to call the police. Save yourself the hassle. Backstory: Went in as a big group and they went back on their word for a group discount. Then accused me of not paying and forced me to pay a second time before letting me leave the store. I wanted them to show me their cameras that they kept saying "they could prove I never paid" with and they then refused to show me. read more

It took forever for them to come get me , they redid my nails about 3 times I was so mad . MY NAILS LOOK HORRIBLE and this is with acrylic

Worst service and extremely dirty,nail polishes all look old and you will be squeezed in between other customers even when you have scheduled an appointment,not to mention the smoke breaks in the middle of your service,don't go there! read more

Courtesy and cleanliness are most certainly an issue at this salon. Flies all over and food smells are unbearable. Besides all that on top of it the owner is never on time in the morning for appointments. Look elsewhere if hygiene is of concern to you! read more

My mom goes here all the time for pedicures, I started coming here in the fall and get the SNS manicure, I don't always go to the same person but everyone that has done my nails always does an awesome job, they take their time to make sure your nails come out perfect, highly recommend!! read more

Decent enough nail salon (2.5-3 stars). I decided to give this place a try since they have been there for a while to see if I was missing out on anything special. They have a great selection of colors, cost is reasonable. Pedicure tools looked sanitary and clean. They did just an okay job on my pedicure. It was not fantastic--nothing that would make me want to go back. I agree with the other yelp comments regarding the messy state of the place and also the food smell. If I could give zero stars I would. I came in with long natural nails and the woman (who did not greet me at all upon entering and only said "pick color" after waiting for ten minutes even though there was nobody waiting before me) broke ever single one of my nails shorter than my skin. Each nail has a different shape and length. The worker did not tell me where the gel polish was when i asked but simply pointed to about ten polishes. However, when the next customer came in she pointed out several racks of color, which seemed a little odd. She kept jamming my hand into the UV lamp creating various bumps on every one of my nails. Instead of fixing the bumps, she rubbed it with her finger as if that would make it any better and then proceeded to add a thicker layer of polish. Once she finished with the polish she filed all of my nails down even more making me bleed, as well as making all of my gel begin to separate from my nail. She also missed some parts of my nail and left some polish on my nail from the last time I got my nails done. This was the first time I visited this salon and it will certainly be my last. read more

I went here as part of a bridal party to get mani and a pedi. After receiving said service and paying, (as witnessed by me) one member of the bridal party was accused of non-payment. The owner of the establishment refused to let her leave without paying again. After being held against her will, the owner was able to extort more cash out of other bridal party members so that the poor girl could leave. Moral, keep your money in your pocket on this one ladies. A terrifying experience replaced a joyous occasion. read more

I asked for a very tricky nail design including a feather and the word "live" in cursive on my thumb & they took their time and did an AMAZING job... My best friend was with me when i got them done and she went back a week or two later and asked for batman and her nails looked black with a yellow blob on them...
