Another absolutely stunning job at J&J Nails!! I've been to 3 other salons in 2 yrs in Haverhill that are overpriced and didn't last longer than a week without at least 1 nail completely falling off like a LEE PRESS ON NAIL. Since finding this GEM salon,I've gone nowhere else! I look forward to going once a month ( ladies ,that's how long they last) for a fill or new set. I cannot recommend this place enough. I'm from out of town visiting family and two of my nails broke. I called J & J the day before and they said I could come in at 9:30 the next morning to get them fixed. I came in and there was already a spot set up for me and they were ready! This place it's better than any big nail salon chain ever. My nails are fabulous and feel so healthy! And not only do my nails look gorgeous, the salon is so clean and so welcoming. Jennifer is the sweetest lady I have ever met and she is unbelievably talented. As an 18 year old paying rent, paying for gas and car troubles, I couldn't get my nails done due to the fact other places would charge me $65 dollars for a full set of acrylics and $45 just for a color change! I'm pretty picky & this is one of the cleanest nail salons that I've found in the area. The manicurists are friendly, welcoming & speak English. Nice to be able to actually chat with your manicurist. This salon is a step up from most of the nail salons I've encountered in this area. I've been getting mani-pedis for years all over the country, and most nail salons around here are by far the worst I've ever encountered anywhere. My big complaint about nail salons here is that they all seem so perfunctory - little attention to customer service, manicurists who can't communicate with you, old rags used as towels, barely sanitary & very skimpy with the products. This salon meets my standards. One complaint - the selection of products really needs to be upgraded. Showcase new seasonal colors, display the gel colors & designs and stop watering down the polishes. read more

Had a 1:00pm appointment for pedicure, taken at 1:45pm. If you enjoy waiting a long time for a scheduled appointment this is your place. Brought my own files and buffers for cleanliness but they forgot to use them and used ones that had been used on others. I am usually very happy with this place but the waiting is common practice and to top it off I got burnt with hot water. I do not think they need my business. read more

My mom, sister and I have been coming here for 10+ years. Friendly service, and Jen will always accommodate to fit you into the schedule. My gel manicure lasts 2-3 weeks with no chipping. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Call ahead if you want to make an appointment, they are generally always busy. read more

This is a great place to get a pedicure. It's clean, this is taken seriously. They also do a thorough job and make your feet feel like their in heaven! All the women working there are very pleasant. Occasionally, younger family member show up after school. They are also friendly, even the teenager :-) They consistently do a really good job, but If you're not happy, they want you to tell them. They will do what they can to make you a satisfied, happy customer when you leave there. They want you to leave happy! I don't usually do my fingernails, but they're always working and have a good clientele base. If you don't want to converse, they understand that too! I went to this salon for the first time three weeks ago. I didn't have to wait long and the staff was very friendly. However, if you're planning on getting gel nails here, DON'T bother!! They're supposed to last 2 weeks and you'll be lucky if you can get 5 days out of them! Mine chipped within 4 days and I went back to get them fixed only to have these chip again in 5 days. They're supposed to last around 14 days! I am beyond frustrated! This shouldn't happen with gel nails. read more

This nail salon is the cleanest and quiet nail salon I've been to. I never have had a bad experience here and I actually look forward to getting my nails done. Jen does such an amazing job and she pays attention to detail. If it is not perfect she will do the best she can to make it that way!
