She told me that I should've created my account before the appointment. I told her I was unaware, I was sorry and I really appreciate her doing this. She wouldn't even look at me. She told me I always mention that on the phone when you make your appointment you must've missed it. I work in HR. I am a very organized person. I made the appointment in my office and had a pen and paper in hand to record all details. Payment was not mentioned during that phone call. I am aware I should've asked when I booked my appointment but my previous office said everyone has care credit and I shouldn't have any problems. She said in a nasty tone that she would need more my ss#, I said no problem I'm ready when you are. She would wait to ask me questions when I was walking away to grab my ID or a tissue. I eventually asked her do you need more information from me or are we good, so that I can talk to her face to face. The whole energy in the office was so off. It felt like an angry older sister that was screwing with me. Saying very polite sentences in a passive aggressive tone. It's really all confusing and unprofessional. I am very scared of needles and was on the verge of tears the whole time I was in the office. I was polite. I don't understand why a person would treat someone so cruel. I will die of a tooth infection before I would ever go back. I can't trust the doctor if the receptionist is going to treat me so poorly. I'm reconsidering my main dentist office now because they referred me here. Such a horrible experience. My fiancé called the office afterwards to talk with the practice manager and it was the same receptionist who answered. She hung up on him twice just for asking that question. Now she won't answer the phone. My fiancé was not rude or hostile with her at all, but she continued to hang up on him. I have never had a medical office knowingly hang up on someone, multiple times, and then refuse to answer when they are just asking to speak with someone. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed from a medical office! Truly an insane experience. There are plenty of endodontist's around. Look into other offices and don't blindly take a referral like I did.

A few months ago I needed a root canal and was referred to Dr. Barry by my primary dentist. I was…read morenot in pain, so did not mind the 3 weeks that it took to get in to see him. I was able to get the root canal done just a few days afterwards, so no problems there. Dr. Barry is super personable and my procedure was virtually pain free. His assistants ( I met 2) were very nice and made my experience the best that it could have possibly been under the circumstances. So why the 3 stars? The 3 women at the front desk are just...cold and unpleasant to deal with. Never have I met less friendly and accomodating front office staff at a dental office. I am shocked that Dr. Barry, given his personality, allows for such attitude from the people who are the face of his practice. I am also taking a star off because his fees are pretty high. He does not offer cash discounts and almost $500 for the initial exam is just too much, in my opinion.

He explained everything to me and frequently checked in with me to see how I was doing throughout the procedure. He was attentive to detail, thorough, and so proficient. His assistant was also amazing. She was cheerful and calming. She reassured me along the way which was comforting. She, too, explained parts of the process helping me feel like there would be no surprises. The front office staff was also amazing. They were cheerful and engaging. They never made me feel like my many questions were ever a bother. They explained the whole payment process and after care instructions thoroughly. The entire office helps you feel like an individual and not a number. They all conduct themselves in such a way that you feel they are ready and happy to help you with the problem you have. The entire process, from making my appointment to leaving the office with my after care instructions, was phenominal!

it's been six months since i had my wisdom teeth removed here by dr. jelmini, and I can confidently…read moresay that my experience was wonderful. the healing was smooth with no complications, and I was back to eating pre-surgery within weeks. if you're reading this, you may also be like me and have the largest amount of anxiety thinking about needing surgery. honestly, my dentist when I was in my teens casually mentioned you probably want to get your wisdom teeth removed at some point, but one came in fully and they never were a bother so it was one of those things you can file away and forget about. until you can't. in my late 20s now, I suddenly had gum pain near one of my wisdom teeth. dentist took one look and explained the tooth was rubbing against the gum trying to grow in and will keep this irritation cycle going -- the solution long term is removal. yikes! I spent a lot of time scouring the inter webs trying to find a trustable oral surgeon and my search led me to Three Rivers. I had originally planned on getting a second opinion, but honestly, there was no need. the first appointment was a consult. I had a pano X-ray taken and then dr. jelmini went over the X-ray, agreeing that I should remove them. he patiently answered my antsy questions, reassuring me with honesty about what to expect. we talked about anesthesia options, and me being the antsy person I am, decided upon IV sedation. I was curious about PRF because I'm quite the science nerd and had been reading about this optional add-on, and dr. jelmini was more than happy to honor my request. a few days before the big day, prescriptions for helping with pain and nausea were sent over to the pharmacy. the big day came and I was SO nervous! the thought of going under! the whole process was so smooth. I checked in, took care of payment and then waited a couple minutes before being called back. Lindsay was so patient noticing my stress. honestly, everyone here was so calm and professional and it really helped calm my nerves. before I knew it, the IV was in, dr. jelmini asked how I was doing, and--- I was out! seriously, when you hear people say propofol is like a nap, they aren't kidding. I honestly have no recollection of the moment I was given propofol and it felt like a minute later and I was waking up. very groggy. the whole procedure must have been what 45 minutes tops? plan on getting lots of rest. I was so pleasantly surprised to see dr. jelmini call later in the day to make sure I was doing okay. make sure you follow the post-op advice for a smooth recovery! every day got better exponentially, and within a few days I was feeling more like myself. it just takes a bit of time to get used to the modified diet for a few weeks. I'm so glad I'm on the other side of wisdom teeth surgery, but if I could, I'd tell my younger self that it'll be okay and you're in good hands with the professional and kind staff at Three Rivers. Dr. Jelmini had excellent bedside manners, understands the anxiousness and knows what he's doing. I really appreciate how all the doctors here are up to date on the latest science, presenting regularly at conferences. Thank you, Three Rivers! I sincerely hope I never need oral surgery ever again, but thank you for advancing the field with kindness!

Went in with a chipped/cracked crown and asked them just to sand it down as I'm hoping to wait 6…read moreweeks til the new year to use my dental insurance to get the crown replaced. They were all done with the work(a temporary cap on the chip and a temp crown on the tooth behind it) and then someone called out for them to give me an x ray. I then get charged $130 for said x rays. I asked them why they needed x rays when they were already done with the work. They said it was for insurance. I had already told them my insurance was depleted for the year. I got the run around when asking why and never got an answer I was satisfied with. Oh, and the temp crown yeah that fell out about an hour later. I was told this place works well with my insurance as a union electrical worker. I doubt I'm going back.
