I was looking for a new dentist after moving out of state and came across this brand new office. The staff is amazing and so kind, the office is very new and updated and clean, and overall the feel of the rooms with the TV on the ceiling made me feel less scared. I came in for a couple cavity fillings and when I tell you I did NOT feel a single thing, I mean it. I never felt the syringe go in to numb me, and barely felt the vibrations on my teeth. Was so surprised to hear they were finished because I was so comfortable and zoned out on my movie. Dr Mattson is so incredibly kind and sweet. I felt so comfortable being in her chair. The dental assistant is also so sweet and let me know everything single step of what they were doing, from the x rays, to the check up, to insurance and financial aspects. They checked on me multiple times to make sure I was still okay and wanted me to feel as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend Dr Mattson enough !!

The digital imaging technology provided a detailed understanding of my dental issues, and the sedation options made the procedure almost painless. Type of care I am in the initial stages of an extraction and implantation and so far so good. I called on a Friday and said I had an abscess that needed attention, the very friendly staff were able to sneak me in during their busiest time of year the following Tuesday which was miraculous. I arrived at the facility that was clean, warm, and nice. The staff were patiently thorough while doing my work up with a kind demeanor and keen attention to detail taking copious notes. Care quality The doctor took extra time going over all of the different options I had at my disposal and rating the pros, cons, and expense of each so that I was equipped with comprehensive knowledge and realistic expectations of all the treatment options he could provide which I appreciate greatly. There was no up sell or hurrying through material though I am sure he has given the same bits of knowledge a million times lol. I would recommend anyone go here for any dental needs. Office experience As luck would have it I cut my finger inside my pocket of my work uniform on accident just as I walked into the lobby. The staff bandaged me up and were attentive to all my needs from start to finish. I am really not the type to be insincere or disingenuous and this is definitely the longest review Ive ever written. Do yourself a favor and choose Dr Cary for your dental needs. -martin 13 DEC 23 Okay I don't know who your orthodontist is but you need to trade up. I went in for an extraction and a bone graft because of an abscess in my back right bottom molar(Gross I Know but its pertinent). I already have an infection in my mouth but that didn't stop Dr. Cary from using the highest sterility standard I have ever seen before. This wasn't the usual bib with a chain like I've always had everywhere else. He made his staff take extra time and redo the setup and sterilization on my mask when he noticed a possibility of contamination. I didn't even notice that there was anything amiss but out of an abundance of caution and attention to detail Dr. Cary wanted to be sure. That is exactly how I do my job and what I want from anyone doing work on me I give kudos and high praise for that follow through and meticulousness. Once in the chair they put a gown over my torso so that only my face was showing through, and then sanitized my face and mouth with a wipe. I have never seen any other orthodontist or dentist do this and I have been to at least 4 different ones. He has the highest standards I've experienced yet and twice as much decorum. What was supposed to take two hours or less took three plus hours because my teeth are abnormally difficult to work with and I have been told this by every dentist my whole life including the two in my family. I knew he was in for a fight but didn't tell him as I wanted to test him as is my custom lol. He passed with flying colors and was apologizing to me for "So long". He should have charged me extra for the hassle and the extra time he had to put in, But he didn't because he is a good and gracious man which is hard to find in the medical field if I do say so myself and I do. So all in all I got the work done at a discount. Furthermore throughout the entire process he answered all of my questions and went into great detail. I threw everything I had at him even getting into preposterous hypothetical scenarios, and he was so kind and genteel patiently addressing all of my concerns. I cannot stress enough how fastidious he is and how paramount that is. I am in day two of recovery and I have zero pain. That has never happened before and I've had several teeth pulled. I worked all day without any pain and just mild soreness which is great because I hate pain medication. The reason there is no pain 24 hours after having my bone scraped out is because of this mans attention to detail. You must choose Cary Dental, no one is a harsher judge of character than I am, and I find no fault in this man. He is now my tooth guy and I got my grandmother to trade up also. Do yourself a favor and trade up to Cary Dental. He has forced me to raise my standards and expectations which is very hard to do. -martin

He's super nice, personable, and fun to talk with, as are Cindy, Theresa, and Monica (everyone I've had the pleasure of dealing with at Towne Centre) and he's a brilliant dentist, of course. I have never had stronger, smoother, more natural looking fillings--ever. And I have quite a few buckles. True artistry. And everyone was so kind, absolutely instrumental in my overcoming this phobia, that I didn't even bother asking for nitrous. And I was titrating off of an anti-anxiety medication--so that's saying something. Another thing that is very important to me is that the dentist treats his staff with respect and care, which Dr Lorio definitely does. If you want to touch up your makeup they have some brilliant samples in the lav (the lipstick I tried was so good I think I'll be contacting whomever the rep is!). I underwent dental implant treatment here, and the process was plagued by repeated scheduling issues, poor coordination, and what felt like a lack of preparation. My stage 2 procedure was rescheduled multiple times because the office did not have the correct parts and equipment ready. During one appointment, I was numbed by the surgeon only for the procedure to be halted because the necessary abutments were not available to him, despite the office having previously evaluated my case and having the correct parts in stock. The problems continued during the crown phase of treatment. Appointments were repeatedly rescheduled due to issues with the crown fabrication and other office-related delays. When the crown was finally placed, the procedure felt rushed and was significantly more painful than I expected. The crown fit was also not correct, requiring yet another appointment for adjustments. I was also disappointed that a cleaning was performed by an assistant rather than a hygienist without prior notice. The cleaning felt incomplete, and routine periodontal measurements that had been performed at previous visits were not done. The cumulative effect of these issues was a substantial amount of lost time, missed work, inconvenience, and frustration over many months. After documenting my concerns and requesting a partial refund due to the repeated office errors and treatment delays, my request was denied by the office manager. I understand that complications can happen in any healthcare setting. What matters is how those issues are handled. Unfortunately, my experience was that repeated mistakes occurred without meaningful accountability or resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office and will be transferring to a new dentist office.

I now have a bill of over $800 for these services from insurance because they were not actually covered. This office straight lied to me. Will not be coming back.
