The pressure used on my hips, thighs, and glute area felt too strong for my stage of recovery, and I left feeling physically uncomfortable afterward. I have had lymphatic massages before, and this experience felt very different. The owner did refund my session after I shared my concerns, which I appreciated. I would still encourage post-op clients to clearly discuss pressure level and experience with surgical recovery before booking. I personally would not return for post-op lymphatic massage, and I would encourage others recovering from surgery to ask detailed questions beforehand.

Dr. Jaime Reed has been nothing short of excellent to work with. She is caring and compassionate and you really feel the difference in working with someone like her because she's a true expert in her craft. I always feel heard at the beginning of my appointments, and feel relief for several days after. She really eased me into things and I appreciate how often she checks in after placing the needles. She didn't explain what the treatment will be and just led me to the treatment room. Previous acupuncture places I've been to provided gowns and told me to remove any jewelry. I get that with covid we should avoid gowns, which is totally understandable. But I wish she gave me directions before putting the needles on me. As we started treatment, the first needle hurt. I told her and she requested I wait a little bit. Previously when this happens, the acupuncturist took it out immediately. After some time it still hurt so she twisted the needle. It still hurt after that and she finally replaced the needle. During the halfway check, she opened the door and just asked how it was going. In my previous experiences, the acupuncturist comes and checks each needle and twists them to reactivate them. I wish Lindsay had done this because at the end of the treatment, she said one of the needles fell! I've never had this happen to me before. I could also hear the other patient through the wall, which made it difficult to relax. Overall, I would not recommend this location given that I'm more tense than when I first walked into the door.

Did a really good massage with my massage gun. Used some lavender, chamomile, and nettle leaf salve that i made to rub on my shoulder and neck. I SLEPT THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT WITH NO PAIN. I walked in and Nina was at the front and I said "okay I think I talked to you on the phone." And she dismissed me, and I asked if I could order the chai, and she was very cold and short with me, and when she brand the chai out it was all watered down, with no milk and hardly tasted like chai at all. This was very personal for Nina to treat us this way because she wasn't happy that I requested a to go order and it was obvious by the way she acted towards me. I even asked how they made the chai, because I was a little skeptical of how watered down it was and how there was no milk. I got a short "oh it's just the same process as always." And then I asked "okay so where do you get the chai from?" And she said "it's just a tea ." Sarcastically. I was so looking forward to purchasing the chai from here this morning and Nina ruined that. I am never coming back and don't recommend anyone coming here if they care about quality or customer service or chai. Update : I asked to at-least be refunded the $13 I spent on the chai and Nina said "I'm going to put you on hold for a minute" and then 10 minutes later still nothing, the call dropped. I am so shocked that this establishment has let this happen to me.
