I went here for a post-op lymphatic massage after recent liposuction and Morpheus8 treatment. Unfortunately, the massage felt much more aggressive than the gentle lymphatic drainage I was expecting for freshly treated surgical areas. The pressure used on my hips, thighs, and glute area felt too strong for my stage of recovery, and I left feeling physically uncomfortable afterward. I have had lymphatic massages before, and this experience felt very different. The owner did refund my session after I shared my concerns, which I appreciated. I would still encourage post-op clients to clearly discuss pressure level and experience with surgical recovery before booking. I personally would not return for post-op lymphatic massage, and I would encourage others recovering from surgery to ask detailed questions beforehand. read more

Giving three stars because they were so nice however I did get scheduled for an appointment for a lymphatic massage and it was not anything close to what I was looking for. I had specifically asked for a facial that included bodywork as well, and unfortunately, I did not get what I had paid for so that was $100 down the drain. The lady at the front desk was sweet to give me a small discount and some names of another masseuse at their location that would be better for lymphatic massage but unfortunately, I'm kind of hesitant to go back now. If you're looking for a place that gives good lymphatic massages. I do suggest asking for a masseuse that solely focuses on that but my experience with lymphatic massage is here was sadly not a good one and maybe you should look elsewhere for that specific service.. The staff overall is really friendly, which is why I'm giving it three stars and I have not tried their other services, but they're most likely good because it did seem a little busy in there. She made sure I was comfortable and satisfied. They also had many health and wellness products at the front for purchase. I have gone to hands on healing multiple times and I have never had a bad massage. From the time I make the online reservation to the receptionist to the masseuse it is absolutely relaxing and amazing. Have a lot of back pain from being a college student and constantly crouched over studying so I try to go once a month and they fix me right up. If your looking for a great massage definitely try this place. Also they have a very convenient location for me so my drive is never more than 10 mins. They have a cute bathroom set up in case you want to brush your hair, use mouthwash ect. Which I find helpful especially having long hair. Also as of right now they have a deal they offer different services free or at a discounted price on different days. My favorite is Tuesdays you get free add-ons to the massages. However, there are minor things to consider. One there is a noisy barber shop next door and in one of the rooms you can hear the employees conversation on certain days (but you can request to avoid the room if your sensitive to noise as I am and they try their best to accommodate). The second thing is that their website price has not reflected what is charged in the store (I think it might be a new system they're using) but online it states that a 120 min deep tissue massage is $130, however I got charged $140, to me 10$ does not effect me. But to some customers it might. My advice if money is tight and you wanna be pampered I would call the location directly. But in my opinion I think you still get more for your money here compared to other places such as massage envy. Overall, I would choose and recommend this place to anyone looking for a massage place. read more

As it turns out, Hands on Healing had one opening left for today, with a therapist named Juny. She's pretty new at this particular spa and I didn't see any reviews that mentioned her, but I decided to take a chance. I am SO GLAD I did. Juny is awesome in every way. She immediately put me at ease and gave me an incredible hour long massage. She is very in tune with her clients' bodies, and her hands intuitively move toward the tension. I love this place! It's very relaxing and I look forward to my visits each time. The main reason I keep coming back is Melynda! She gives the best massages, and can adapt each session to what I need at the time. I keep quiet while I'm face down so I can fully relax, and then we chat away once I flip over onto my back.
