Which we took him specifically to get a haircut. Not only that but we paid $92 for a bath and nails cut amongst a few small other things but no haircut. I would have thought for $92 he would have had his haircut. But they said that would have been another $15. The environment when walking in was really nice though. They had a little store and treats and food. Our dogs name was actually on a sign outside when we pulled up welcoming here which was a sweet surprise. He did leave with a nice size sample of food they let us try. Not sure if we will be back bc of the pricing but our dog did smell great from the wash and they were friendly.

Most dog owners understand the frustration of purchasing expensive treats and bringing them home to realize that your dog is not going to eat them. At Dogologie, you won't feel that frustration. We offered our dog 7 samples (which she refused) before she finally accepted the 8th treat and then we knew it was something she wanted. This was immensely helpful for us and it was something I never would have expected and don't think I would have chosen on my own. They have lots of other dog accessories on offer including clothes, leashes, toys and even decor. They will even kennel your dog for 4 hours for $40 if you want to shop or do some activities that aren't dog friendly. This shop is a great resource for dog owners.

However, I am first and foremost my pets' advocate and caretaker, and PetSmart has been my go to company for 40+ years. So my current rating is based strictly on my experience last two times that I have had my elder Great Pyrenees washed and brushed out, at two different locations. I am less unhappy with the latter than the former. Here is what I am most frustrated with. Both times I spent a lot of effort to communicate, and confirm they heard, that his mane, skirts and layers where not to be touched. The first time, his mane was 3" shorter and his skirts were "feathered"... this time, overall a much better experience yet, once again, I was not listened to. I very specifically said, no cutting or trimming anywhere except to trim his fuzzy paws. I even called out potential mats between his legs... I said if they find a mat that they can't work out with conditioner, to leave it! So-- Why did you shave his belly?

Not only is it a WAY better store, with more (and better cared for) selection by way of animals, but products as well! Plus, they sell everything for less. Oh & they don't charge a cover for going to look around & see what they have to offer. Would not recommend this place to ANYONE with a love for exotics. Scarce inventory- but the real sin is the condition they keep their animals in. With the inflated amount they are charging for their products, they should have more than enough to make sure they are practicing good husbandry, there is no excuse.

The groomer calmed her down and talked to her before he started, and he had to do that again and it worked, she's a Chihuahua. Looking around I saw other dogs being gently bathed & groomed. The second time I came and they said they weren't doing walk ins because they were extremely busy but I understood since it was the weekend before thanksgiving but the front-desk man was not very friendly. I finally brought him in the next morning and they convinced me not only to do a trim but to get him bathed. I came back 3 hours later to see if he was ready because I hadn't received a call. They said "it'll be 10-15 minutes" and I looked and my boy was still kenneled up and appeared to be unattended to. I came back in 30 minutes and he was definitely bathed but they only trimmed his feet. And my boy has long hair and he can't see a few days after his cut. They rushed the process to get him done and over with. I would have much preferred to wait to get it done correctly. $40 dollars is an awful lot for a bath!! I'm off to find a new groomer
