During the inspection, he discovered a leak in the neighboring unit that shared a wall, proactively checked it with moisture-detection equipment, spoke with the onsite contractor, and thoroughly examined our adjoining wall--which was moisture-free at the time. About a month after moving in, we discovered a ceiling leak below the master bathroom. Coincidentally, John was inspecting a condo we were selling that same day. When we told him about the issue, he immediately offered to stop by and recheck it. He returned twice (including a weekend visit), at no charge, to re-inspect both our unit and the neighbor's once access was available. A week after moving in, we smelled a sewer smell in the home and discovered a half-dollar sized hole in an already exposed pipe in the home.
