They spilled paint on our freshly sealed driveway. I explained the house was under contract to be sold and the buyers were coming to inspect the property. They acknowledged the damage and sent us to their insurance company, who was extremely unresponsive. I called Win-Waste and said I would rent a power washer and clean it myself if they would reimburse me $50 for the power washer rental. They said 'no' to that and directed me back to the insurance company. In addition to the time spent on calls with their insurance company, the end result is I will likely have to eat the cost and spend even more of my time cleaning up after their crew. If you're looking for a trash removal company, my suggestion is to look elsewhere. read more

They are not on the up and up, they over charge you for items they say you put in the dumpster and you didn't, 150. For a mattress that we didn't put in the dumpster. There was no mattress in the dumpster for the 150. Charge. The guy who dropped off and picked up, was polite. The dumpster was in our yard behind locked gates, there was no way anyone could have access to the dumpster, unless someone from the company put it in. My kids dad passed and they wete cleaning out a 39 years of stuff that was saved by their dad. What a way to treat customers. I was going to hire them for a house that my youngest dad left for our son, but not now. I hate dishonest people and companies. read more

Their billing department is incompetent. Payments were being sent automatically every month. They all cleared yet they were not posted to my account. After 2 weeks of no service I called and was told my service had been suspended for non payment. I called 4 times before anyone called me back. They stated that one robo call was made to a no longer working # about the suspension. They verified my email address but did not have the courtesy to have someone make an effort to contact me after years of being a customer. They just stopped coming. Stay away from them. I am having to spend way to much time to prove that the payments were in fact made. read more

I initially liked their marketing presentations about what they do with recycling and was considering setting up their service a year ago. My local contractor was able to match their very low $15/mo service and my husband didn't want to change from their reliable service, so I asked Win Waste to take back their receptacle before our first pickup a year ago. They did remove their receptacle immediately and I thought that was the end of that. I continued to receive their printed newsletter/advertising and an occasional invoice over the year and told them I didn't have their service-I thought I was getting a bill accidentally because I was on a mailing list for their newsletters. However, at the beginning of the year, I got another bill (of course with STILL not having their receptacle at all our residence) and waited 2-3 months as I was going on a trip and could not deal with that issue. After returning from my trip, I called to find out more about their service and thought I might try them again but I was still undecided and wanted to know if my original contractor would be able to match their service price. My longterm contractor couldn't match it, and could only give us a senior discount. I discovered that they pretty much do the same thing as Win Waste, as a local family business, and they were not owned by a hedge fund. I realized I'd rather help a local family business over a hedge fund or private equity firm. I was especially turned off when I called Win Waste and told them I decided to stay with my local contractor, they then told me that because my service was never "cancelled" it would go to collection! REALLY! There hadn't even been a receptacle at our residence for over a year--how can they even provide a billable service? Obviously something is wrong with their system, because when they picked up the receptacle last year, they should have marked our address as CANCELED!!! I am waiting to hear back from their manager on Monday. Hopefully they will straighten this out as a system issue...it was almost as bad as working with AI, but this was a real person saying it's my fault one of their staff never marked our account as canceled once they picked up the receptacle early last year!!! read more

They increased my bill by $10 after I called them and told them to lower me. They refused to give me a refund after I cancelled. Plus I had to wait 30 minutes on hold. Check your bill carefully if you use them. Shop around. I'm sure you can do better. read more

Absolutely a scam! We used these guys for 13 years and they just could not get their billing to work. They lowered our service to 1 day a week and charged us more. Then they on their own set up two accounts under our home and then lost track of our billing. Buyer beware these guys are unwilling to fix their errors and you will be left holding the bag. read more

Scam company! On their website they offer coupon for $100 off order prior to getting price. When you get the price the $100 has not been applied yet. They don't call you after doing order online, nor send email confirmation. When you reach customer service you are advised that they know nothing about $100 coupon, but advise an extra $100 for delivery off the confirmed price. If you reach someone named Ashley, you might as well hang-up, and move on to legitimate company. read more

They don't care that they are waking up senior citizens with disabilities at 5:38 AM (and even earlier) by emptying dumpsters at this hour of the morning. From my experience, do not use this company. They stopped automatically charging my CC and stopped picking up my garbage. I settled my bill and went to another company. Two years later I get a collection notice saying I owe them money. Their terrible service is still following me around. Save your future self a headache and stay away. read more

I'm VERY disappointed in this company. My dumpstets are located under 3 trees on my commercial property due to nowhere else to place them. Every week the driver comes & lifts the dumpsters & breaks off a branch on one of the trees. This has been going on for months at this point. I've gone out MULTIPLE times to ask him to please back up BEFORE lifting the dumpster so he doesn't hit the branches. Literally, just back up 5 more feet & he would clear the trees. Seems he can't remember to do this! I've called the company several times to complain & to request someone come out & look at the damage he is doing. THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS!! I had to hire a tree service to come remove the broken branches that didn't come down but are now hanging & dead. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Plenty of others to choose from! read more

Canceled service in October of 2023. Have auto pay so was told I would get refund of the difference for the 2 months I was charged for nov and Dec. Get a bill in Jan saying the difference is (132 dollars) not a neg 132 applied the credit card it is affiliated with they say they will send a check It's Feb 18 2024 and I have called and spoke to 4 different people all telling me the check should be in the mail. We used this company for years before they were bought out by Win WASTE. The change in customer service has been abrupt and disappointing. After almost three years at the same address, they changed the pick-up time and came 8 hours earlier. A consistent 3:30/4 p.m. pick-up became 7:35 a.m. Our cans were not out. When I called to find out what happened, I was told to deal with it, but they could come out for an additional $25 the next day. We will be looking to change companies after 23 years! (20 at our previous address.) read more

Win Waste--definitely a waste. This is a company that truly doesn't care about its customers. Whoever answers the phone, you always get the same reply, "that's not my department, I can't help you with that". No one takes responsibility for anything except getting a bill out. -I was initially quoted $47/month only to find extra fees in the bill which were never disclosed adding another $12 to the monthly bill. -One month they billed me an extra $3000! They admitted to the mistake but took weeks to resolve it and in the process they suspended my service for nonpayment. When I complained, they promised to do a pickup the following day but did not come. When I called to inquire, they made up some excuse and promised pick up the following day. Again, no pick up....you get the idea. Liars, incompetents, etc, etc. When I finally reached my breaking point and called to cancel the service (I did this at the start of a new month prior to any pick ups) they told me I would be billed for an additional month "because it was the start of a new billing cycle". Can you believe this BS? No service being rendered but I'm expected to pay for a month of garbage pickup. They also scheduled the totes to be picked up 1 full month after canceling the service! This company is just plain toxic. Take your business to Gastaldo's if available. They care about their customers, don't make excuses and get the job done. read more

I see many people dislike this company. I work for a small mom and pop scrap metal company. Win Waste Innovation stole at least one of my companies dumpaters "by mistake". They have red dumpsters with their logo on it. My company has black dumpsters with yellow lettering, complete with our company name, phone number, ect. It takes a real scumbag company to pull crap like this. Best of luck to anyone who uses them. read more

Cancelled my account with them cause they are a completely incompetent company. Have been waiting since April for them to come pick up their trash and recycle bins. I've sent countless emails for them to come get them out of my yard. Here it is August and guess what are still sitting in my yard... their bins! Mind you I can see the garbage trucks drive by my house everyday on trash day just pick up your damn bins!!!!!!!!! No customer service I have only use the service for two months and I have had to make several calls for dumpster service with no help. The dumpster was delivered two day late and they came to dump it rwo days after it arrived and this they didn't empty it at on the due date. They tell they will to it sometime next week. Had them for trash removal at a residential property. Attempted to cancel in September and never got a response back. Fast forward to this week and they say it is cancelled can we get our trash bins. Sure as soon as I get refunded what I am owed. I am told I am not owed anything but my account will be credited (thought it was cancelled?) in January. Ask for an explanation on how I am not owed anything and they say because they didn't cancel until the end of September, despite me requesting in early September. How is that my fault and please refund me my money. I explain they can have their bins when I get my money and not to come and get them otherwise. Am told I will receive an invoice for $125 per bin (2 bins). I stopped using them the week I cancelled and got a new trash removal company. I did not use their service after requesting to close my account. I call twice later this week trying to get a supervisor. First time I am told they are all in meetings and will get a call back, doesn't happen. Second time I call I am told I will get a call back first thing the following day from a supervisor named Michael, didn't happen. These guys are incompetent, and dishonest. If you are attempting to change service or close your account I would highly suggest you keep copies of your records. I would give zero stars if they would let me. read more

I wanted to share my experience with Win Waste Innovation. They've been really unreliable with their pick-up schedule, which has caused me a lot of trouble because they don't come on the scheduled date and then charge me a fee for not being available OUT of the scheduled date and time. Not only that, but they've been hitting me with hefty fees and penalties for their own delays. A while ago, I had to shell out $1500 for probably two pick ups and the rest was all fees for not being available on random days that they decide to come. It's frustrating because my trash is piling up and I keep getting hit with these outrageous bills. On top of that, they're super disrespectful and nearly impossible to reach for help. I've tried contacting them multiple times, but they never respond. Just wanted to share my experience and warn you all about Win Waste Innovation. Stay away, guys! read more

ordered a dumpster and scheduled pick up for a specific dated. They never came to get the dumpster as scheduled. When I called at 11AM, it took 3 calls over 4 hours to get a service member to actually admit they were coming. I kept getting "a manager will call you". I was told their next availability wasn't for 3 days and they can't ever guarantee a scheduled pick up. Mind you, they never called to say they weren't coming or reschedule getting it.
