I mentioned the mangers name that had been there years before and they came back with rude remarks and when I worked here and if the owners would of heard what I said and how I said it I would of been fired! The fall of 2022-23, we thought we would try them one more time. We were treated like we were the worse people. My grandsons were disappointed as they had aways enjoyed bowling here but they don't want to come to a place where they are treated so badly. But let me share our HORRIBLE experience and discuss Angie's absolutely disrespectful customer service. She approached the lanes that my mom reserved and PAID for and stated there were people bowling without shoes. Understood, my mom had already began addressing this issue, and was sending people to get their shoes. Then Angie says "AND YOURE SMOKING WEED" ... let's pause for a moment. I am not smoking anything first off all. We are in a public establishment as a group full of black peoples, let's be real. Who is stupid enough to smoke weed INSIDE THE PLACE. Secondly, IF someone was smoking weed, the WHOLE place would've been a huge cloud. So, let's not falsely accuse a group of people like this. Okay, cool. She walks away. In a matter of minutes, she is back and yelling in my moms face as we are trying to celebrate my deceased brother's birthday. If you know me, I'm cool, calm, and collected and stay out of it, but the moment she raised her voice at my mother, I intervened because what we won't tolerate is this level of disrespect when we have paid and are not causing any issues. Now, someone may have had a vape and idk their rules against that, but that is absolutely NOT the same as smoking weed as she accused. But we won't talk about the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke as you enter the building. At this point several people within our group are livid because Angie is raising her voice and speaking to people as if they are not adults, accusing people of smoking, and just outright disrespectful. Of course she tried kicking us out. Okay, kick us out but give us the money back because we paid a lot of money between the reservation, shoes, and everyone ordered food and drinks. So, we'll leave but we want to be refunded. After I had a word with her and expressed that she needed to reevaluate her customer service skills because it's not what you say, it's how you say it, and she was flat out disrespectful, she said "you know what, just bowl". But that's not even the end. As we are wrapping up, saying goodbyes, Angie calls the police which I suspected because she was hiding on the phone as I was returning shoes. There are literally police officers outside in the parking lot as we are leaving. At this point we felt targeted. Not to pull the race card, but a group of black people having a good time, celebrating a loved one with some friendly competition is too much to ask for, I guess. Y'all can tell me what that sounds like. NO ONE WAS FIGHTING. EVERYONE PAID FOR WHAT THEY RECEIVED. NO ONE WAS CAUSING A SCENE EXCEPT FOR ANGIE AND HER DISRESPECT. This was absolutely HORRIBLE customer service from Championship lanes, specifically Angie, and personally I would not recommend this place. If she's the manager, owner, or whatever, she needs to take a customer service training and reevaluate her ability to run a facility because that's not it AT ALL. I'm not even the one to cause a scene about something but they need to PROPERLY address her poor skills and treatment towards us. OH, they have untagged themselves or blocked me from my Facebook review!

While we waited for lanes we were surprised by the menu in the little diner. The burgers we so think and juicy, the fries were probably the best I've had in forever. Truly great food. Then we started bowling, had so much fun. But what really sets Lucky Strikes apart from other bowling alleys was the customer service. The team that was working were pleasant, and so responsive. They really seemed like they wanted to be there and were having fun themselves. Will definitely return.

It was fun to walk in and see all the taps of alcohols they've had over the years dangling from the ceiling. Not a drinker so I can't say much about the bar but if you are, I think you could definitely get your fix here. The food was quite decent. Lots of fried fare but it came out hot and crispy. What more do you want from fried food? Highly recommend the jalapeño poppers stuffed with cream cheese and the pepper jack cheese bites. And a bowling alley's ranch has no business being this good. It was delicious. I did try a piece of pie on the way out (Oreo) and unfortunately didn't like it at all. It was quite bland and mushy and I did throw it out. Bummed about that and would be curious about the other flavors. The lanes left something to be desired according to my bowling league family members. The floors at this particular alley are unwaxed which deviates from the norm. My husband, who has his own ball, usually spins his ball but could not get the move to work without wax and had to change up his play style. Not sure if this is a conscious choice or if the lanes just needed a proper waxing but it definitely changes the experience. We all bowled pretty badly, though I can't totally blame them for that. It's been a while. Lol But the lack of wax definitely contributed. While we were alone most of the night, another group eventually showed up not to bowl but to eat. This place seems as much a restaurant as it is an alley so you can plan on either experience here. Or both! The alley is a little dark, a bit cluttered with bowling balls stacked absolutely everywhere, and the service was kind but detached, but it's not a bad place at all. Definitely somewhere we might stop into if we ever come back through.
