First it was ok I called clancy's at noon and they said they were open until 10:00. Then I got there at 6:48 and the doors were locked nothing on the front saying why they were closed. Three other people and I were wonder why they were closed. I had my family and friends with me and we were all let down. Also the Internet also said they were open to day. Been here twice now. For $20 a person not worth it, lanes are awful, keep shutting down, have to reset the pins after a couple throws, and they also shut off randomly. We were moved lanes twice and waited over 30mins for the lane to be turned on, never happened. read more

We paid for two hours of bowling and only got to bowl for about an hour because our lanes kept shutting down. The lanes would randomly reset and would not let anyone bowl. My dad who loves to go bowling said that it wasn't even fun because we couldn't bowl. My kids got bored while waiting for the lanes to work. read more

This placed hosted the Women's state bowling championship . We was stuck on a set of lanes that needed reset & score changes almost every frame . We requested to b moved , not allowed . Then the seasoned worker from the lanes - told us - lanes 15/16 do the same thing and we have constant issue with those lanes and these 23/24 lanes are the same . She didn't understand why they would put us on those lanes - they had 15/16 closed bc of the same issues . The bowling alley needs some serious repairs - hole in the floor under carpet around lanes 21/22 .. Unfortunately, if state returns to this location our entire team will opt out of participating . read more

We had a decent size part. had nothing but problems across all 4 lanes we rented. paid $200 for 2 hours. they start your time at time of pay and when your time is up. the lane is shut down. 2 of our lanes we couldn't even enter names until they came over to fix it which took up 5 to 10 mins. had several problems where the ball return stopped working. even if you have to wait for service to come fix your lanes. They didn't extend your time. we had one lane down over 10 mins. it's way over priced. when You can go to some smaller towns bowling alleys, and pay have the price For a much nicer kept and affordable experience. read more

Customer service was terrible. Our group asked a few questions about issues we were having with the lane, as the set up is difficult to navigate, and were treated very disrespectfully (i.e. annoyed looks, sarcastic remarks, etc.). We were also told that we would receive two full hours of bowling and, after an hour and a half, were kicked out due to closing time. We were not informed that we were paying for two hours of bowling time with only an hour and a half left of business hours. read more

The best bowling alleys are bowling alleys that include a little bit of everything. This is that place. A couple little bar areas. Pool tables. And loads of bowling. The staff is super friendly for sure. I've not ever had a bad experience with them. But the place is a bit plain. Not that it's bad, but there's just nothing that really makes you want to stay and hang out after you're finished rolling. Which is ashame because it's such a big space. I'm hoping as the economy recovers (it's going to recover, right?), the place gets a bit of a make-over. If not, well, you can always throw things. Legally. read more

When I had friends visit me in Muncie, we always did three things. Heorot, Puerta Vallarta, and Clancy's. In agreement with the other reviews, if I had been in a city with anything else going on, I may not have chosen these three activities as my must-dos. But, when in Rome... Clancy's has like 50 bowling lanes or something, cheap beer, and a big pool hall. It's not the best place on earth, but I will give it five stars because it just might be one of the best places in Muncie. I was always amazed to come here, NOT on league night, and have to wait to get a lane because literally all other 50-some lanes were taken. I believe they have some sort of disco bowl on the weekends, or at least they used to. When you're waiting for a lane, you can do some quality people-watching. If you're living in Muncie, it's really something you must check out. At least once. read more

If you're looking for cheap fun, Clancy's is a good place to start. There were seven of us (three who didn't bowl) and it was $15 an hour to rent one lane. We arrived fairly late (about 10:00 p.m.) and cosmic bowling began at 11:30 p.m. which was $12 per person. The snack bar closed at 10:00 p.m. which was inconvenient and the man who took my drink order at the window was condescending. It won't stop me from visiting here again, but it's something management might want to look into. read more

Essentially your average bowling alley. Nothing here has been updated since about 1995, but as far as bowling alleys go things could be a lot worse. The employees are mostly teens, as could be expected, who aren't that proficient with customer service but they weren't rude by any means. Just awkward. The score boards are kind of difficult to navigate at first when setting up a game, but the system seems to run pretty well. Our lane only got stuck once during the game we played, and we just pressed the reset button on the ball return and everything fixed itself immediately. Cost three of us fifteen bucks for one game on a Saturday night, which I wouldn't say is too bad. read more

My brother brought my family and his here for the first time this summer. Let me say this is the worst bowling alley I have every been to. The warped lanes, horrible balls that clunk down the lanes and not to mention the lack of air conditioning even though some fans do work. They have a section blocked off by some ugly plastic sheet. We had my 7 yr olds bday party here. The birthday package was a great deal and he had a lot of fun! However, the staff was incredible rude! We had 14 kids bowling, the balls kept getting stuck. After bringing it to their attention twice (each time they acted like it was the end of the world getting them unstuck) we stopped asking for their help. So a few of the kids got a couple different balls to use. At the end of he party, a man who worked there went to get all the lanes cleaned up and apparently there were several balls stuck under the lanes. We cleaned every piece of trash up to try and be courteous to the staff, and the man says "did you have balls that kept a getting stuck?!" One of our kids said "yes". The man, in a completely rude voice says "well did you tell anyone?!" We told him yes we did a few times. He said "well do you think you can help me put all these balls away? There were 47 of back there!" First of all no there weren't, and if there were, they were from the last bowlers you had on those lanes!!! He then throws the balls up on the carpet knocking them all over our feet and didn't say a word. So me, trying to keep my cool I help the rude man put all these balls away. I shouldn't have!! But I did. Needless to say, this was the last time we as a family step foot in this bowling alley. I don't care what kind of deal we got, this is NO way to treat customers. read more
