My quote was for $6500. I called another company and asked for the same section. I was quoted $4500. Later I found out that family members own the same companies. Nick was my consultant who bid the job and overseen it in its entirety . The day the fence was to be installed , he assigned his Forman to the job ( Ivan) and his helper. They showed up 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time and got right to it. We had a fence installed for our dogs Mid-April, and absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to deal with nothing but hassle. After we received our initial quote, we had some changes we wanted to make, it took several phone calls across multiple weeks before we could finally get in contact with Nick to make the adjustments, only to realize later that the way the quote was written did not match with what we requested (we requested a 7 foot fence, with snake wire trenched at least a foot into the ground, the quote was written for the snake wire to be trenched only a few inches.) We wanted this fence to be virtually escape proof as we have huskies, and huskies are known escape artists, a few inches of trenching is NOTHING for a husky. Upon the install of the fence starting we informed the team doing the install of the placement of a few trees nearby and requested that they avoid them when driving around our property, we pointed these trees out MULTIPLE times. One of these trees was driven over, the chicken wire ripped from it and the tree killed. When we called and complained we were met with a very snotty "Well what do you want US to do about it?" Well considering we went out of our way to show your employees where the tree was and quite frankly their truck should have been left in our driveway and not driven into our yard in the first place, payment for the cost of the tree so we can replace it would be great! We've heard absolutely nothing back in terms of any kind of reparations for this. The workers also left everyday with no word to me so i could untether my dogs and left the site a mess with tools and leftover concrete and bits of metal wire strewn around for our dogs to step on left about. In addition to this, note that our quote was for a 7 foot fence, what we actually received was a 6-6.5 foot fence, We've gone round with a tape measure, and measured in the manner we were informed the fence should be measured by Nic, and there is only ONE spot on the entire fence where it reaches 7 feet from the ground, the rest is between 6 and 6.5 feet. This is something we brought to Nic's attention during the install and we were assured the final fence would be 7 feet. the fence can only be counted as 7 feet if you measure from under ground inside the trenches that were left open after our install was completed, the snake wire was trenched and covered, however about a half foot or so of the main fence itself is sitting in an open trench following the install. All in all, this company completely half asses their work, and doesn't care whether their customers are actually happy with their work or not, and they have no intentions of making things right. Jason, with Hemet Fence, provided me with a quote for 131' of white vinyl fence in my back yard. I was surprised that his quote was less expensive then other companies. The crew that came to install my fence was incredible. They were professional, respectful and friendly. I was shocked at how fast they completed the fence & cleaned up after themselves completely ! I was extremely happy with the communication, the service and the price. Honestly, I don't think I have had any better dealings with any other company in my life! I was so happy I decided to have Jason provide me a quote on the other side of my house. Again, the price was within my budget so I scheduled the installation. When the crew (2 men) showed up to begin I became apprehensive after speaking to them. It was not the same crew that did the first fencing. They were not friendly and didn't bother to explain what they would do. They completed the fence and put the left over boards up for a make shift fence so my dogs wouldn't get out which was very dangerous and someone or my dogs couldn't been injured because the boards ended up collapsing an hour later. They left a mess and concrete was left on the posts which dried and stayed. There were also black marks on the fence. The fence just didn't look like it was right, like the other side. I let my concerns be known and the owner came out to look and had the 2 men come out the next day to do the clean up. They also installed the 11' gate the next day which did come out great! (Can't promise you'll get that LOL) I am so pleased with the design of the gate, the wood trim and 2x4" black mesh, the super hinges and 4" post, the second post to hold it open...everything is beautifully thought out, the hardware is first rate and the gate looks like it was meant to be, blending harmoniously with the fence on one side (which he extended by four boards) and the building on the other. A lawsuit was filed in Riverside County Superior Court against this company to recover the money they cost me. I prevailed at court! I hired the company to install a fence along the front of a rental property I have in Homeland, just around the corner from Hemet Fence. They left my front drive gate off for five (5) days claiming they needed to manufacture the gate at their yard. They did not put up a temporary gate or otherwise secure my rental property. I had to hire house sitters to watch the property for five days! When I contacted the company the wife would screen the calls and not let me speak to the person in charge. Do not use this company unless you want to treated badly. This company put sleeves on the corner posts that is sub-standard at best. I recently had a shared fence installed with my neighbor. First off, the company was to complete the project in one day, but they did not bring enough equipment so the job was delayed another day. Secondly, during the installation, they cut my drip system and just threw it to the side requiring me to repair. Secondly, while installing one of the posts, they broke my sprinkler line, and then just cemented over it again requiring me to repair. Neither one of these lines were aligned with the fence installation. They were only in close proximity. Both could have been easily avoided. Wood fence for a third-acre home enclosure is five years old and more than ten posts have rotted out at bottom and dislodged, resulting in two rebuilds at $500 each (less than half what Hemet be d).
