The salesman Adrian Salazar called me the morning of the appointment to make sure I was still wanting him to come out, which I always appreciate a heads-up. And of course I was, I had lots of bugs coming in through the old original windows in my house I had recently moved into. Adrian was very personable, and full of information that I was seeking, in order to make sure all my needs were met. He quickly measured and gave me an estimate (at my urging because of those bugs!) I didn't even need to think about it, the product looked amazing, and with SO many choices. I loved the aluminum "capping" in a choice of colors for the exterior, with the interior being nice and white. I might point out that I got the 9000 series because the glass area size is greater, with a thinner vinyl frame, and I want all the glass I can get for that natural light! Adrian warned me that the email with the timeframe would be way out in the future, but it wouldn't really be that long. To say the least, when I got a phone call from Eric Rice the Project Manager saying my windows were ready, I was in shock! It had only been 25 days since that appointment with Adrian! And better yet, Eric asked if I could have them come the next day "or is that too short of notice?", my answer was a resounding not too short of notice, but yes, please. I might add that Eric also answered my myriad of questions because I wanted to make sure I had the house completely ready to get those windows installed. The next morning Marcelo and his crew started right away and knocked it out, working the entire day, even through the rain. And the results are wonderful. I absolutely love the aluminum capping which they form to the exact profile of your window trim, complete with mitered corners. They also use matching colored caulk, so that the gorgeous trim is seamless. Another great thing about these windows is the locking mechanisms on them, since they are low-profile and have a smooth feel to them. These 9000 series windows also have super smooth operating lifts in the sides, so they're easy to raise and lower both sashes and they also both tilt-in for cleaning. I only have wonderful things to say about this company and have never had such a positive experience with any type of home repair or renovation company.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. Jonathan (owner), Kevin (salesman), Jeff (installation foreman), Clint (QA/project mgr), and Christine (accounting) were responsive, timely, and thorough in their explanation and clarification of all charges, transactions, and day-of processes. We got an estimate for 18 window INFINITY replacements (upgrade from 1970s construction) including two large picture windows, in early April 2020, with installation on May 26, 2020. After a wonderful day-of installation experience, we moved forward with french door MAX CRAFT replacements for the singular front door; installation occurred on July 24, 2020. The front door had some irregularities in the sealed glass panes and required entirely new door replacements after the initial framing was installed. The QA/PM (Clint) personally oversaw the replacement process to find the best door panels with the least glass imperfections, especially knowing that we will (have) look out new front doors regularly! NGRW was wonderful in working with us to secure project funding (Synchrony), include credit card deposits, and augment final settlement with cash funds. Once you buy even one window with them, you are locked into pricing for life! The manufacture of these fiberglass windows avoids the warping with vinyl and rotting with wood; the insulation presents a new level of sound insulation (we live on a busy through street) and better climate control in summer (our upstairs HVAC died at the end of the cooling season) and winter. We are now moving on with window replacements at the back of the house, along with a new backdoor of a more-simple design. Received text and email messages on December 9 and December 11 that project is now on hold and that my action is required. On Dec 10 I scheduled installation dates with NG but salesman is no longer in loop and no NG project manager or specific contact person has been identified. Today called NG back again but nobody can explain why project is on hold again. Hopefully project will be completed soon and everything will progress OK. Not a warm feeling that all is well.
