Windows From Warriors totally crapped out! 15 large windows contracted for in May 2025. Black vinyl exterior and interior were paid for, but they pulled a bait and switch - gave me white interior vinyl that was cheaply spray painted black. All are scratched as vinyl is not made to be painted. Owner denies any problem and I'm out $8000.00 deposit after more than 6 months. Initiate lawsuit and filing a criminal complaint for fraud. For almost 40 years, our mid-80s Cape Cod still had the wood single-pane windows and wood entry doors. After installing new siding, the windows quickly looked old and ratty. We needed help! We called the major window companies for quotes and were shocked by the super-high prices and the pushiness of some sales reps. One rep for a company that advertises on the radio only left my house when I told her she was officially trespassing and that I would call the cops! Enter Windows From Warriors. We found them on Nextdoor, and they had decent reviews. We went to Yelp, read through the reviews, and decided to give them a chance. Their quote was less than half of the lowest price we got from the more prominent companies. I also liked that they have a brick-and-mortar building, are local and family-owned, and were veterans building a business. Jim came out, measured our windows and doors, and we received a quote in less than a week. We agreed to the price, and when project day started, they arrived on time and quickly got to work. Our home took two full days to complete, but we also replaced our three entry doors. Their installers moved quickly, cleaned up wherever they worked, and even reconnected our door contact alarms. They installed the new locksets we had purchased as well. We feel strongly that the expense is truly worth it and increases our home value if/when we sell. I'm very disappointed with this business. I called several days ago to have a window repaired. One of the partners answered the phone. I explained to her that it look like one of my windows had a condensation issue and ask if someone could come out to check. She ask me to send her a picture of the window, it would help her estimate what it would cost. I sent the picture and she never responded. read more

I heard great things about these guys so decided to check them. They are friendly and had good prices. One of the things I value is communication. They are prompt with their replies. I feel I could text them anytime when I had a question. Their workmanship is great. The installers came out and did a great job. They seemed to be detailed oriented and made sure they did their work right. They were also friendly and accommodating. I feel all the way through the process, I could trust them. Jim was initially great to deal with. Super friendly and straightforward. I wanted to use his business as a veteran myself. It was a big project, I think 30+ windows so, understandably, it took a few months for the order to be made. I had asked for the garage windows to not be replaced since my wife liked the grid pattern and it wasn't needing replacement, so it was not a part of the order. After many months (it took longer than initially expected, but it was during Covid times and we understood), the windows finally came! Jim had not remembered that the garage windows were not supposed to be changed. And of course I was at work and was not able to remind him. They of course started with the garage and nobody noticed until they were short! Jim said that they would order more for us since they were the ones who messed up. Also, during the installation, I'm not sure who he had working for him, but the installation was extremely poor and haphazard. He said he was able to replace some of the wood and paint, but all he did was paint over rotted wood. The worksmanship of the installation was just not good. We kept calling him to come back and fix his work, and he would take weeks to come after multiple calls. He now has been ducking our calls for over a year and we still don't have the windows that were short! I guess he does not stand by his work and has just decided to cower and hide. Again, the sad part is that we had really bonded over being vets. And this just leaves a terrible experience with a veteran owned business. read more

Windows From Warriors recently finished installing windows and doors throughout my home. I contacted several different vendors prior to selecting this company. Kim and Jim gave a very solid presentation and were very upfront on what to expect with the project. The price of the window/door installation was significantly lower than other competitors. We made a few changes and/or additions throughout the process. The big change included replacing the front door of our home. We changed from a single door with side lights, to a set of double doors. The new windows and doors (3 doors and 35 windows) are fantastic compared to the prior windows and doors. The two installers (Josh and Mike) did a great job with installation. They were nice guys and treated my house like it was their own. I was totally satisfied with the whole process and would highly recommend this company. read more

Please do not use this company. Their communication is virtually non-existent. I have to ask for updates after weeks of no update. My windows were installed after 5 months of waiting for them to come in. The windows were installed and were warped. The installers left and the windows were crooked, not level and not framed properly. After several weeks they came back out with new windows and they are still not installed properly. At the middle where the window lock is, the top window and bottom window do not meet in the middle evenly. Also the framing for at least one of the windows is visibly misaligned. They have not responded to my requests to fix the issue. I spent over $15,000 to not have windows installed properly. I would not recommend this company at all. read more

Very fair pricing, good workmanship. Took a bit longer to get the job done because the first piece of glass came in broken and it had to be reordered. This wasn't a big deal for me as I was not in any hurry. My only criticism is that they never called to let me know there would be a delay. After a couple of weeks of waiting, I called them to find out what had happened. They could not have been nicer about it and did squeeze my installation in to get the job done. I used to have 46 year old, single pane, leaky windows. I called and the owner was out the same day to give me a quote. This company gave me the most reasonable quote. It was a fraction of what I was told by 4 other companies. They're very responsive, very open and honest about all your options. They had some last minute schedule changes, so they were able to get my install done sooner than I expected. That worked out for me as I had travel plans approaching and was thrilled to get the windows done before traveling. Even though they had a late start due due to the sudden schedule change, their installer Carlos got all 8 windows installed in one day, while answering any questions I had for him. I was impressed with Windows from Warriors from the very beginning and my experience with them only got better from the time we signed the contract until the job was finished. When I am a consumer of expensive products/jobs, I take my research VERY seriously. I met with 4 window companies and had taken notes from each company to add to the quotes they gave me. I cross referenced everything Jim said when we met with him with what I had learned from meeting with the other window companies. Jim knows windows and is an expert when it comes to window architecture and design. Our job was a 33 window job and 19 of those were changed and customized to different window styles and configurations than what we originally had. Jim is the design genius and Dennis is the mastermind that takes those ideas and turns them into a reality. Dennis was meticulous in making sure that each window installation was executed correctly, and I value that so much because I feel like there are so many contractors these days who cut corners because they know the homeowner will never know. The most important thing I could say is that I felt like they approached my window job with the same attention to cost and quality that they would if they were doing the job for their own house or for their parent's house. They spent so much time and effort helping us get the best quality windows while simultaneously helping us keep the price in a range that we could afford.
