I have an email from Lee confirming that he did not set up my insurance correctly. Instead of…read morecorrecting this, he and the company have either continually pushed me around to tell me this is my fault or have just not responded at all. This is our second agent. Out first was fired after it was determined he was not setting up accounts correctly. Lee said he was one of the h great customer service agents and would take care of us correctly. An email from him admitting fault in setting up our insurance which will include a significant loss after a sewer backup. My suspicions that they can't and won't correct this where confirmed when Daryl Latham (regional director) won't return my calls, Lee yelled at me on the phone, and Jennifer Odom (claims adjuster supervisor) didn't require follow up after her claims adjuster messed up our appointment time. She lied and said he would call the contractor. He has yet to do that or ask for his number. The initial claims adjuster was a joke. He gave us a $300 credit for a target wall sticker and gave us less than $800 for a vintage two piece cabinet. He only quoted is off a post on Amazon that was one piece and not even a currently stocked item. Lee and his team and AmFam should realize that I AM angry. Instead of sending me a report written by a field rep who hasn't even corrected and followed up based on our last phone call, they could get someone on the phone who works for the customers and address the email Lee sent admitting he didn't do his job correctly. Stay away from AmFam. If you value customer interaction, service, and your belongings.

Communication was inconsistent, with responses often coming very early in the morning or on weekends, which made the process harder to manage in my experience. As of April 13th, my return had still not been filed. On the 13th, I was asked about payment. I explained that I planned to pay once I received a completed draft of my return, especially since my invoice was not due until April 27th. This resulted in her getting very upset. During a phone call that followed, I was told that nothing was owed at that time. However, on April 15th at 11:52 PM, just minutes before the tax deadline, I was informed that I did owe money for my taxes. Then the following day, I was told the return had been adjusted to break even. This back and forth added confusion to the process.

So the question, if I had not called for the tax return, when would they have completed it. They always had full POA and hade ability to do anything needed. They are guilty of CPA Malpractice.
