I visited Windermere Nail Spa with a group appointment at 4:15 PM for a combination of pedicure, acrylic nails, and nail art. While the staff was polite and the final nail quality was decent, the overall experience was extremely frustrating due to scheduling and time management issues. Despite having appointments, services ran significantly behind schedule throughout the evening. The children (age 9&10) in our group waited several hours (approx 5hrs) before their services even began, and my acrylic nail appointment did not start until around 9:30 PM. I ultimately left the salon close to midnight. :( In total, I spent nearly 8 hours (one work day) at the salon for a gel pedicure and a fairly simple acrylic nail set. By the time my service started, I was too exhausted to proceed with the nail art I had originally planned. I understand that nail art can take time, but customers should be informed of major delays, and appointments should be managed in a way that respects everyone's time. Keeping adults and young children in the salon until almost midnight is not an acceptable customer experience. The nails themselves turned out nicely, but the excessive wait and lack of schedule management overshadowed the entire visit. I hope the salon improves its appointment planning and communication going forward. 2 stars--one star for the nail quality and one for the staff being courteous. The final nails are fine, but no nail service is worth spending an entire workday in a salon. The issue was not the technicians' skills--it was the complete lack of appointment management, prioritization, and respect for customers' time. read more

My appointment was at 2:30 and they made me wait 45 minutes. When they started to do my nails the filed the nails unevenly and painted my nails the wrong color when I showed them the photo. read more

I needed to get my gel manicure changed and saw Windermere Nails was nearby. I wasn't greeted and the service wasn't friendly. I didn't mind, however, just need my nails to look good. Can't believe this place is so close to my house and I thought I'd never tried it but whoops came here 9 months ago with a less favorable experience. This time was much better! The staff is super friendly and the spa is clean, chairs are comfortable, and most importantly they do a great job! My polish stayed on well without chipping and they do meticulous work here. They have a nice variety of colors and they are really geared towards making sure the customer is happy. They have gel and SNS. They offer water and sodas, as well as having lots of magazines to peruse. The prices are fair. Bonus...they take AMEX! That's a huge plus for me. Anyone who frequents the nail salon can definitely attest to the fact that they are not all created equal. Finding a good one isn't as easy as one might think. Did not have good service on this Wednesday. Arrived about 10:30 for a brow tint and wax. There were no customers and one operator. Requested that tint be a medium brown. I left there with jet black brows, a big black spot on skin to left of brow line and skin under brow hairs dyed black. I have two burn spots on skin of my right eye. When I got home, I tried liquid makeup remover and soap and water to get black off skin. i drove back from Johns Creek to salon during school traffic, same operator told me to just wash it a couple of times and it would be all cleared up by the weekend. I have gone to this place since they opened but will never go baclose again. read more

Don't get fooled by the good reviews from a while back when the service was exceptional, Bee and others were there and Christina ran the salon. Ever since the salon changed management they lack total customer service and do a bad job with nails. I have to mention how badly I was treated by specifically Stacey in front of the owner who did nothing about it. All this after years of being a loyal customer. Stacey said "We don't care about you." Needless to say, they will never see me again. My nail salon is 5th Avenue Nails across the street now, where they care about me. It's beautiful, new and very customer oriented. This is where you'll find Bee and others that have left that other horrible place Windermere Nails. I'm happy that's exactly the same distance, and they want me as their customer! If you have other nail salons near you, please make sure to avoid going to Windermere Nails... My nails were filed in ugly shapes, 3 layers for manicure, 5 layers for pedicure (not counting base and top coat), color gel were so thick on my nails and some areas are not applied evenly. Maybe someone unprofessional could do better than the ladies there. read more

Great service! I usually come to this salon when I am in need of a quick touch-up, or am looking for a break away from studying and want a pedicure. Recently they re-modeled the inside and it gives off a very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Biggest highlight is the service, they offered my mom and I a few drink options (for free) and gave us mini Kit-Kats before leaving. They were friendly, but not too pushy. I've been a loyal customer for awhile now. Unfortunately, the past few experiences have been less than favorable experiences and they've been downright rude. I went in (38 weeks pregnant) on Sunday at about 4:45 for a SNS $37 and signature pedicure ($30). I was hoping for a relaxed experience and this was far from it. They rushed through everything extremely fast and did a very poor job on both. My sns nail color does not go to either sides of my nails and my pedicure was messed up before I even left and after I told her she quickly ran one line of color over it and called it a day. No massage was given for either ( even when I asked about both apparently sns does not include a manicure with it or lotion or anything?!) I was the only person in the salon the entire time and was treated so poorly. They made sure to get me out of there by 5:45 so they could go home, again, the rushed nature of it all was what bothered me the most and I could tell they were skimping corners from the start. I can see why they have lost a lot of there customers as the customer service is seriously lacking! And yes, they could tell I was very unhappy when I left and did not do anything to try and make things better. read more

I made an appointment at 9:30 for my birthday, it was a present from my mom and she was with me. We arrived at 9:30 and no one was in the entire place with no lights on. At 9:45 we gave up and went to Kelly Nails. I will never return. To make it worse they had my number and my name and did not bother giving me a call at all to apologize for not showing up for work that day. read more

When I got in I asked the lady if there was waiting and she said not that much and pick a color. I waited for 30min and after one of the ladies asked me to sit on one of the pedicure stations, I again asked that lady if there was going to be waiting and I'll come back and she said 5 min. The women talked among themselves in their language and then one of the ladies turned on the water and was gone for a few minutes. If they have waiting they need to let the customers know, we don't have all day waiting on them just cause they don't want to loose any customers. read more

I treated myself to a pedicure last night @ Windermere Nails. At first it was relaxing but then the lady cut my pinky toe! I of course know she didn't mean to, but it kept bleeding so she asked me if I am diabetic! What!? Then when I checked out with my credit card, she had nerve to request a cash tip! I will not ever be going back to this nail salon and doubt I'll get a pedicure anytime soon due to this very bad experience. :( read more
