Three weeks ago I called and left a message on her answering machine requesting an appointment as soon as possible. One week later, after receiving no response, I repeated the call. No response. I tried a third time a few days later with a similar outcome. Finally, I went to her studio wondering if there was a family emergency or illness. She wasn't in but a colleague said she was fine. I left my name and telephone number, asking Stephanie to call me. Five days later no call. I believe Stephanie owes my an explanation for her behavior. If I in any way insulted her, then she should tell me. A clear character flaw.

Aaaand I'm a gay Jew. Yeah. Doubly blessed. What that means is I have a curly mop of hair that at its best can make me look like your cute, disheveled mad scientist and at its worst, like I stuck my finger in a light socket. If my hair gets too long, I look like Jesus (thin curly hair doesn't lengthen well). If I brush it, it becomes a Jew fro. If it's too short...well I'm already a stereotype. I've let hair stylists have their way with me because frankly, i gave up. I've had some interesting asymmetric haircuts (think flock of seagulls). But Kristin has managed to manage my hair.
