My 15-month-old daughter has been at Windmill Creek Academy for about 1 year now. We could not be happier with the facility and the staff. They keep her active all day with fun activities and themes. We had a wonderful experience at Windmill Creek. The owner Jeanine is lovely... She is very involved, with a music background she offers weekly music class for all age groups. The Christmas Program & Graduation were both amazing. The learning experience was so creative and fun for the kids. I was very impressed with each holiday party. The outdoor space is what sold me initially. The best I have seen in Naples. My daughter loved going to school and misses her teachers and friends. read more

No COVID precautions! Super disappointed since daycares and schools should have tight requirements. No parent is required to wear a mask, some teachers don't wear it with children only when parents show up, old cranky lady at the front doesn't help with anything and doesn't wear a mask. I was so excited to tour with them since I read some good reviews but it was disappointing. read more

If you can put your child anywhere else, or with anyone, you absolutely should! Windmill Creek offers negligence to a level that quite frankly could get them sued one day. Our son started here with a family member that took care of him. However, after he aged and was moved to the next class, it all went downhill from there. Our son started coming home saying his teachers were showing him videos of a clown as a manipulative tactic and so a newfound fear of "the scary clown in the bathroom," began. He would tell us his teachers name 'Ms. Britney' and say she showed it to him on her phone. It was always worse every time I picked him up from school. I have seen as I've waited in the lobby new people come into the daycare to pick up a child, the receptionist, Patty, not know who they are, and all the person tells them is that they are "on the list" and the child is called to the front. No ID ever checked. No file ever pulled for verification. I have had family members come pick up my child before and they would report back the same with great concern. Our son has come home numerous times with cuts, scrapes or bruises with no accident reports given and when questioned, no one knew anything. Let me just say I know kids will be kids and there's no guarantee that accidents will not happen, which is absolutely fine, but we had our last straw when our son came home one day after a TIRE SWING hit him in the head causing a massive swollen bump near his temple. We called and complained to the director, (the only thing she should direct is traffic) and she brushed it off like it was nothing. The thing is, we found out about the incident an hour after it happened because our family member sent us a photo. No contact from his teachers. The tire swing was put up because the staff was being too lazy and did not feel like teaching the children to share. So, a bunch of kids gathered around and pulled on it until it finally fell and injured my son. WHERE WERE THE 3 TEACHERS?? There is no accountability for any of the staff. They point their fingers at the kids who can't defend themselves instead of owning their mistakes and working to improve the school and their processes. In fact, if you go down and read any of the negative reviews, you will see the director blaming your children for "not transitioning well." Easy to say, we will never bring any of our children here again or be recommending it to anyone else. read more

I want to start off by saying that I worked for the school as an office manager for 10 yrs and have recently retired. My experience at the school was first heartwarming and educational, all at the same time. Seeing the children everyday was so enjoyable and loving it was beyond description. The teachers dedication towards teaching, guidance and kindness was amazing to watch each and everyday. To know the experience as a parent, of raising children and how difficult it is...I was overwhelmed at the patience and fortitude each teacher had each day entering each classroom. Congratulations for the outstanding work you did to make a difference in each child's life for years to come. The management teach was so dedicated and worked tirelessly to make sure the school ran efficiently. Which was not an easy task. The owner, as part of the management team, not only loved the children but the school was a part of her and showed daily at the school. She diversified the school with not only learning music, but education and herself as she spread her love throughout. I have nothing but praise to the group i worked with ...with whom I love so dearly. You not only made my life more enjoyable but to everyone you came in contact with. I want to thank you all for enriching my life as my final departure of employment. I am now enjoying my retirement phase of my life. This is by far the absolute BEST preschool/daycare I've had the pleasure of experiencing. I've raised 6 children... TRUST ME when I say I have certainly had multiple schools over the years. Windmill Creek Academy not only provides a clean atmosphere; but their attention to the little details for each and every child is a breath of fresh air! They provide detailed monthly guides for the parents to know what monthly theme, subject or activities will be presented through the month. Not to mention; they give your child daily reports, weekly homework & parental involvement! They have certainly done their research on what fundamentals are needed to prepare the children for "big-kid school"! It's bitter-sweet to know my daughter will soon be graduating and will have to leave behind her friends, favorite teachers & beautifully themed school! read more

This is the best pre-school hands down. My son attended this school year 2016-2017 for VPK. I am an educator and I am so impressed with the entire program and staff. Communication is stellar. The teachers write a daily report home, there is a newsletter and teachers are personable. Every day the teachers would talk to me about my son and what he did that day, aside from the note. They really love what they do and they love the kids. It shows. The curriculum is one of a kind and truly prepared my son for Kindergarten. He is writing his first and last name, sounding out words, reading sight words. His math skills are outstanding for 4 years old. He counts to 100, shows 1:1 correspondence. He has basic understanding of addition and subtraction. They have prepared him for homework by sending out a weekly homework packet, projects, and they really involve the parents. Each month they have a different theme too which is super fun and my son looked forward to it. This school without a doubt is clean, organized, and they have really done a great job of preparing my son for Kindergarten. He has all of the foundation skills he needs and then some. He loves learning. He loves his teachers- they are all amazing. I love how each teacher has their own area of expertise- art, science, reading, social studies, and music. I love the fact that the director gets super involved with the kids. She has done a great job of always making my son feel special. He loves music and loves to sing, this program definitely helped him to discover that. Windmill Creek Academy is the best. They understand kids, love kids, and they take the time to know the families as well. I am sad to see my son leave this school, but I am so happy with how prepared he is to move on. read more
