On the night of the 7 day we received a eviction notice for some unknown infraction. We moved here from Burnet tx. We needed a place to stay until we could find a house. By no stretch of the imagination would a 90 yr old and a 64 year old driving a 40 year old pick could or would break his foolish rules. If you would check the reviews on this site are from 2020. My review is the only current one. Those early reviews were by people who only were here for a day or two.. the long term RV people are terrified of being evicted for some trumped changes. Who knows?. We are currently waiting for the sheriff's department to come and resolve this matter. We will probably file a civil suit against him. He currently has men with him if there's trouble. It's better to let the sheriff resolve this At costs stay away from this place. It's subpar!!!!!!

When we started researching where to go, this place had a mix between positive and negative reviews. Tony and his wife were so nice! We were caught in a horrible storm on the way up from Houston and had to park overnight and wait out the storm before getting to the campsite. They called and checked on us during the storm and again in the morning, when we were on our way. Tony checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed, and if we had any questions. He was very friendly with us and helped us find a place to float the River. There is some old equipment on the property and he shared his plans to clean it up and what improvements he plans on making. We will definitely be back!

What I went through were unsafe living conditions, maintenance negligence, and overall unlivable standards that no family should have to deal with--especially not a single mom like me. Major Issues During My Rental No mailbox key provided for my entire stay, making it impossible to receive important mail. No working stove for over 5 months, even after multiple requests. Random unlicensed people entering the home to "fix" issues, but never actually repairing anything. Electrical hazards so bad that I couldn't plug anything into the kitchen. Workers even sealed outlets with cement, making the electrical system worse. Cheap, unsafe flooring with cracks everywhere and no support underneath. AC vent had no support, covered up dangerously, and nearly fell through. Falling trees in the yard left for 4-5 months, damaging vehicles and ignored by the landlord. Shower tiles installed without proper waterproofing, causing water damage. Walls filled with cement, interfering with electrical lines and creating additional hazards. Windows and doors not insulated, allowing pests and weather inside. Severe Pest Problems Stray cats everywhere, bringing fleas into the area. Roaches around windows and doors because the home wasn't sealed properly. Negligent Landlord Behavior Maintenance issues were acknowledged by text days later, but still never addressed. Despite all these issues, as a single mom, I was charged an extra $100 every month whenever rent was a couple of days late--and I never complained. My deposit was never returned, and now the landlord refuses to respond at all. Neighborhood Issues Constant loud noise, honking cars day and night. Children riding bikes in front of moving vehicles, creating unsafe conditions. Kids shooting BB guns at vehicles with no accountability. Final Thoughts I'm sharing this so no one else has to go through what I did. The house at 7650 W US Highway 90 Lot 311 is in extremely poor condition, full of hazards, and the landlord fails to maintain a safe or livable environment. I truly pray she does not put another family--especially one with children--through the same experience.
