I stayed in Longhorn RV's pet friendly cabin for a couple weeks and loved my stay!! The cabin had everything I needed, plus a great view of the lake especially at sunset. Severe infestation problem. Big time party place on the weekends..someone knocked on my door at midnight. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place. It seemed great at first..lots for the kids to do..game room, pool, gym..but I had ants crawling all over me while I watched my kids in the pool. And even a scorpion visitor. Almost everyone that is here lives here. I'm sorry I have to bring the overall review down but this was not the place for me. read more

My family and I have been here 2 wks and this place is absolutely great! Everything they advertise and so much more. Friendly residents are a huge plus. Friendly and helpful staff inside the office and on the camp grounds. I can't say enough about this place seeing how this is just my second RV Resort. I am new to RV living. My first RV Resort was a nightmare. On the surface it had lots to offer but months into it none of the amenities were up yet. This is the place to stay short or long term! read more

Longhorn RV Resort & Storage - Site 7 - RV Rental Near Me - Niederwald, Texas

We pulled in and noticed the entire resort looked clean and neat. No broken down trailers/RV. The staff, guests and residents were all friendly. The laundry room was clean, all the machines worked and well kept. The laundry room had a coin dispenser and vending machine selling laundry products too. They had a tv in the laundry room in case you wanted to watch while you do your laundry. They even had a iron and ironing board. The pool is not large but there is still plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was nice. It can hold 8 people comfortably and is approximately 4 feet deep. We loved the hot tub and used it about 5 out of The 10 nights that we were at the resort. They have Hunt Brother's Pizza at the little store. Only downside is you have to remember they shut the pizza oven down an hour prior to closing so they can clean it. I can live with that. They have a small coffee wagon just outside the gate. The bathrooms and showers are clean and updated. Lots of room. We liked having the ability to buy things at the store without having our wallet with us. They charged it to our card on file. The dog park is spacious and well stocked with poop bags for Fido. They had a table for dogs to run through and provided a water bowl and water spigot in the dog park for the dogs. There is a trail around a portion of the lake. It was nice to walk or take the bikes on. We missed seeing the long horn cows/bull(s). The park is pretty quiet. People were sitting out in front of their RV enjoying each other's company but it was never loud or noisy. We will be back and we highly recommend Longhorn RV Resort. read more

Went to nascar at the Circuit of the Americas and stayed at Longhorn RV. It is a really EZ drive to the Track about 15 Minutes. RV park is really nice, big spots super clean and the staff is nice nice nice. Will go back again. read more

The RV resort is very well kept, friendly staff, had nice size dog parks, new fire pits, and a relaxing pool. WiFi was great speed while I had to work for a few hours too. The concrete drive thru spot we had was very spacious. We even had more than enough room to park our second vehicle with A lot of area to move around. It was a great place for the family! They even had an on-site RV mechanic, which was very handy when we had a tire blowout that ripped up our plumbing. This helped make our trip more enjoyable. read more

Booked my reservations 2 months before trip, got canceled due to impeding flood. I kept calling to see if weather had missed the resort it had and they put me back on the reservation list. Turned out to be an even better location next to the pond. We had great neighbors who were in town for the NASCAR race as we were and ended up being a Great stay. Deb in the office was wonderful and worked w us when weather related cancelation turned into an ever better experience. Can't wait to go back when we don't have anywhere to go and can enjoy the resort even more. read more

The name says it all Longhorn RV Resort. One of the cleanest facilities we have ever been to. Bathrooms are spacious and clean, the pool and hot tub area is super nice well-maintained. Looks brand spanking new. Huge dog park for your Furry Friends super nice and clean. 16 acre private Lake equipped with boat ramp, huge covered Pavillion, With plenty of benches and fishing pole holders, amazing Cook-Out area. They also have washer and dryer on sides and a huge Recreation room with huge TVs and comfy couches and table and chairs. RV sites have grass on each side of the 60-foot cemented pull ins. We have met a ton of people here everyone has been super nice. People who own this place are amazing and helpful in every area. read more

Really enjoying my stay here. Large sites and, referring to previous review, picnic tables have been added. Friendly staff, nice pool, and grounds well maintained. Had an issue with 50 amp power source and it was rectified immediately as they have RV repair guys on site! Definitely a bonus! read more

This campground is well spaced so that each unit has plenty of room. Location is a bit isolated. Nice community center and clean laundry rooms. This is basically a work camp, not a nice retirement place to spend the winter. Tables and patio spaces are missing but I understand they are in the works for the future. Office staff and owner are lovely people. This location is right off Highway 21 going to San Marcos so road noise is pretty loud and traffic is heavy. Other than that it's a great country location. Roads within the park are in need of maintenance - they are quite broken up and subject to flooding in locations right near the pond. With continued effort this will be a lovely park in a few years! read more

This. Place. Is. SUPER NICE!! I have been to many RV parks and this is at the top of the list. The park and rv spots are neat and clean. The restrooms..... unbelievably clean. There is a big room, game room I guess, with a full kitchen and fridge that everyone can put extra food and no one messes with it. A lovely work out room. And the pool is just so beautiful!!! We live about 25 miles from the resort, and had to move out of our house for about seven weeks for construction work. We rented an RV and Rob Hoffman, one of the owners, went far out of his way to help us. Plus, he has an outgoing personality, and will please you if at all possible. We saw additional pads being built, and Rob said they can't get them ready fast enough. I think it's safe to say that if you stay there once, you'll stay there again. Beautiful, large sites, wonderful owners and staff, large community/rec room, gorgeous pool, large dog parks, lakeside pavilion. On site RV repair, on site store, with the BEST pizza and wings!
