We passed by here yesterday, hoping to take a look at the property, but the gate to it was only partially open and we didn't feel comfortable opening it up and driving in. After talking to some locals, it's clear that it's been kind of an on and off situation for the last few years mostly Off with them doing renovations, but never really opening up. It looks so quaint and charming and I'm sure it was lovely in the past, but it would probably take a pretty penny to turn it around and I'm not really sure what the current owner's motivation is to do with the property. Personally, I would just keep it for myself :-)

In the morning, we would head to our camp ground at Eagle Valley for some trout fishing and camping. Caliente Hot Springs Motel, will always have a special place in my heart, along with Ash Springs, when it was open to the public. Make the town of Caliente great again. A Nevadan hidden treasure. I love being from Nevada so many beautiful things to see, that only locals know or knew about.

We once experienced a breakdown of our vehicle and had to stay several days. They helped us with rides, provided great food and lodging and basically saved our summer. Just immediate destruction. It was that good. The little bar/restaurant itself is super cute, super quirky in the best way, and everyone working there was genuinely so friendly. It has that "you are very far from everything but somehow exactly where you're supposed to be" vibe. If you're driving the Extraterrestrial Highway through Rachel, Nevada, the stop at Little A'Le'Inn is an absolute must. It's one of those places that just makes the whole road trip feel like an experience instead of just a drive. What we did experience was friendly staff and an amazing suite! It was huge! We stayed in the Victorian Suite. I have to say I was really impressed with how clean it was. Everything worked really well despite the age. The beds were so comfortable my partner had to look to see what mattress it is so he can purchase one! Honestly, I would love to stay here again. The price was so reasonable; especially for the size of the suite. Looking forward to visiting again!

I asked if we could request pool level, or casino level rooms, and they said yes. Again, no mention of construction. When we arrived, I was told the entire casino floor rooms were closed, due to construction. They offered the third floor, or higher up floors, because the pool level rooms were located directly under the construction. level. As we walked to the elevator, the noise was so loud/horrific, that I was scared to go on the elevator because I thought we would get trapped up on the floor if something happened . There was Constant, loud, banging due to the construction. The staff said this would be going on all's day, every single day. And, the pool was closed! They did not mentioned this on the phone, they didn't even tell us when we checked in. I asked for a refund , and we left to find another hotel. We will never go back to Casablanca , ever again. They said they'd refunded my card, but the chargers are still pending on my credit card.
