My son and I got into Pioche after dark and grabbed some food across the street. While waiting I walked over and asked about a room and if my two German Shepherds were okay. The incredibly nice woman that ran the desk and the bar gave us a huge suite with two rooms and it was amazing! After we got settled I went down for a drink and she filled me in on the towns history and some nice genuine conversation. It was an incredible value for the money and this Hotel has some big historic roots and has been renovated with love by the owners. I will be bs m to stay again!

We unexpectedly had to stay the night here during our spring vacation since we had an unintended mishap with our vehicle. We were told this hotel was haunted so I really didn't want to stay by we had no other choice since this was the closest hotel we could stay for the night until we could get our car issue resolved. Knowing the place was haunted made for a sleepless night. However the place was clean and the decor did add to the "haunted" feel with large mirrors in each room and dated pics of possibly the ghosts. I didn't ask about the stories since I didn't want to get more scared. Anyways it wasn't too bad. And the price was cheaper than where we would have stayed. Staff was friendly but some I thought added to the feel of the place. I give this place 2 ghostly thumbs up.

These people were great, accommodated us last minute. Cafe across the street was nice too. The town has a haunty feel, especially the hotel. We heard a groaning sound for awhile but it seemed to put the spirits at rest when we unplugged the refrigerator

Ice fishing. Great bartender,a girl named Jake. Haunted room #10. And Royal flushes. We always have a great time up there!

We stayed in this very room as pictured. Cute small town with this historic hotel. It has quite a few rooms and is right in down town. You walk just across the street to eat. The room is cute and quaint. The beds are squeaky and the smell of smoke was lingering in our room. The room has a coffee maker, t.v and small refrigerator. Seemed fairly clean. It was nice and quite at night and the locals are very nice.

Amy the "owner" was violent, disrespectful, verbally and physically threatening. She let us know she was armed behind the desk and we better not "f*ck up her room" THIS STARTED OVER MISCOMMUNICATION ON PRICE FOR 1 BED OR 2 BEDS! She then proceeded to tell us she's offended about the price and how she served in the military and does she expect people to get a room for free! She then proceeded to call us "piece of $hit" "b*tch", meanwhile this was all while she had a drink in her hand. She didn't even remember her giving the key back, until I showed it to her on her desk! She threatened me, and when I asked if her if she is verbally threatening me, she told me to "get the f*ck off her property" meanwhile, I told her she didn't need to be disrespectful to my travel partner or myself on an inquiry, to which she then once again became verbally vulgar, obscene, letting my partner know she was armed. All in all, we left the property, as she followed us out to the car, until we drove off the property. No foul language towards her way, no rudeness, just a couple questions about a pricing mishap, but all we got was named called, yelled at, and called "pieces of $hit" I asked for a receipt with a breakdown on it and she got offended at that, called us "stupid", "dumbass". She informed us that she almost lost her business because of Covid and I told her she's not the only one, and I did lose my business and then proceeded to mock what I did as well, and said "for f*cks sake." when I left, I went to another motel and they informed me I should contact PD and file a report, but that no one liked her in the town, and she is known to be violent and rude and they greatly apologized for her actions. Amy was a sad excuse of a "manager/owner" and human being. This is inexcusable in every aspect, when all we did was try to get a room for the evening. Not even a raise in tone of my voice or my partners, even apologized if she got offended by asking about pricing differences and miscommunication, her response was calling us stupid. Not to mention, my partner went to pay for our room, and when I came in, she told me "how nice of you to be dragged out of the car, and inconvenienced" and very condescending. NEVER STAY HERE! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PERSON!!

There was a gas station next door that was convenient which was nice because I wouldn't trust eating anything if it were cooked/sold at this motel. I spent two nights at the Sleep E Motel while working near Enterprise. The price was decent and the…read moreroom was reasonably clean. The place doesn't have WIFI, but it's a low-end motel in a small town, and for the price I didn't expect many amenities. A couple days later I realized that I'd left my laptop charger in the room, so I went by to pick it up. When I walked up to the office the door was open and three women, two of whom I hadn't seen before, were standing in the room. I told them what room I was in and explained about the charger. One of the women, a thin 40-something with blue eyes, seemed immediately angry. When I was done talking she burst out with, "Your room was filthy." I asked her to explain. Another woman told me that the microwave was dirty and that I had left some bark in the tub. Both of these things are true. I had washed some work clothing in the tub, and some juniper bark from my clothes had ended up sitting near the drain. Being that I paid them for the room, and neither of these things was difficult to rectify for any halfway-competent worker, I didn't give it much thought. Yet here I was receiving a lecture on my behavior. "We debated charging you extra because of it. It took 45 minutes to clean that room," said the thin woman. I was stunned. Had they forgotten who the customer was in this transaction? Were they drunk? Surely any person even cursorily versed in customer service would know how wrong the situation was. Incidentally, the woman who had taken my payment for the second night said nothing. I think she understood. They ranted at me for a couple more minutes. I don't engage in conflicts that are not likely to have a good resolution, so I opted not to explain the error of their actions to them. A very heavy short woman, the second one to speak, finished with, "Just keep that in mind next time." By that point I had checked out of the conversation mentally and, sensing that the tongue lashing was over, I turned to walk away without a word. The above describes what happened. What's below is my reaction to it. If all you want is the facts, stop reading here. I've been to many, many places of lodging. I try to be mindful of the fact that the people working at them don't make much and work very hard. I try to be respectful, and usually leave a room in very good shape. When I returned to the motel after my first night, I specifically asked for the same room and told them that I did not want the room cleaned to save them the work. I think that was fair. Never has any customer service person spoken to me like the women at Sleep E Motel did. I don't take things too seriously, nor do I get bothered easily, but this conduct was egregious. These people lack even a basal understanding of what their job is. Because I work close to this motel, I had planned on spending many nights there over the next several months. I will not be back. I will make every effort to let coworkers know about how this business is run. I will refer people to this review for as long as I'm in the area, and advise them to pitch their tents out near the beautiful reservoir outside of town or go pay 10 bucks more for a decent room with WIFI at the Motel 6 in Cedar City. Just keep that in mind next time.
