This was my first time visiting Mesquite, and I'm glad I took a colleague's recommendation to stay here for a work trip. It definitely seems to be the best hotel in town. The property is very well-maintained, the restaurants are a delight, and the pool area is excellent--I loved being able to order drinks right from my lounge chair. My only real complaint was the check-in process; my room wasn't ready until two hours after the official check-in time. It was a bit of an inconvenience after a long day of meetings, but the staff was friendly, and I was able to pass the time using the gym. I also bought a day pass for the spa, which turned out to be pretty underwhelming. Aside from a private pool and steam room, it doesn't offer much unless you're booking an actual treatment. A private spa jacuzzi would have been a huge plus, especially since the main resort jacuzzi was constantly crowded. Unless you are getting a specific service, I would skip the spa pass. Overall, despite the check-in delay, it was a great stay and I would definitely return. read more

Just a real mess and disorganized. Came for the $99 room special which we were told came with a free tee time at CasaBlanca Golf Club and a free massage for the two nights. Once we checked out, they billed us for the massage service and the tee time. Then were told that they take care of the room cost. It ended up being around $60 more which we didn't mind, just confused why this wasn't communicated or promoted correctly. Next, the room was extremely hot even when running the a/c unit at 60 degrees. The unit you can tell is very old. Lastly, the service at almost every restaurant was unwelcoming and rude. Waited over an hour for our food at Jersey Joe's with a server who was overwhelmed and had attitude. Similar experiences at Einstein Bagel's and Rita's and Fajitas. The casino staff were nice! Valet also was welcoming. Overall, there seems to be a ton of disorganization with new ownership and the staff doesn't seem to be informed. To top it all off, they definitely aren't welcoming or hospitable. I'd avoid booking a stay here. read more

2nd year under construction with ,NO notification of this, when making the reservation. This year we made reservations , months ahead. I called a few days early, to confirm. I asked if we could request pool level, or casino level rooms, and they said yes. Again, no mention of construction. When we arrived, I was told the entire casino floor rooms were closed, due to construction. They offered the third floor, or higher up floors, because the pool level rooms were located directly under the construction. level. As we walked to the elevator, the noise was so loud/horrific, that I was scared to go on the elevator because I thought we would get trapped up on the floor if something happened . There was Constant, loud, banging due to the construction. The staff said this would be going on all's day, every single day. And, the pool was closed! They did not mentioned this on the phone, they didn't even tell us when we checked in. I asked for a refund , and we left to find another hotel. We will never go back to Casablanca , ever again. They said they'd refunded my card, but the chargers are still pending on my credit card. read more

We stayed at the Casablanca Resort for a 5 day golf/birthday trip for my 50th Birthday! Our experience was great and would recommend staying here if you come to Mesquite. There was something to do for everyone, and the food was good. I don't recommend the Einstein Bagel place if you are in a hurry in the morning as most of us were. They were so slow and didn't seem to have a sense of urgency to get your order out timely. The renovated rooms were good so recommend getting those rooms over the non renovated rooms. My friend went to the spa and she highly recommended getting a spa treatment while there. The pool was great too! Overall highly recommended this place while staying in Mesquite, NV. read more

Initially, when I called to ask for an early check-in, I was yelled at by the front desk. So of course, my first impression was not great and I was ready to cancel the trip However, after we arrived, everyone proved to be very hospitable and tried to be accommodating. The state of the hotel was another issue altogether. The renovated rooms are decent but having one elevator for nine floors is ridiculous. In addition to that at some point during our stay the up and down buttons did not work so we had to hope that it would stop on the floor that we were at so that we could take it to go down or up. read more

They only had one elevator working for a 9 story building. Crazy, we waited for the elevator over 20 minutes. That was on a Wednesday afternoon. I don't even want to think about the weekend. On top of it with no notification, they charged a $100 refundable deposit at check-in. Loud construction woke us up at 8:30 Place is cheaper than Las Vegas where I live, but should be for the poor service and upkeep. Look for another place to stay in Mesquite; the only reason I stayed here, is the casino is part of the hotel, unlike other casinos in Mesquite. read more

There's always something going on at Casablanca. Whether it's adding or taking out slots, or the same for dining venues. Activity seems to be a constant. This time it was doing away with the original sportsbook, and relocating it against a nondescript wall deeper in the casino. Not a good look for us bettors. I was told that Station casinos has taken over this aspect of of our gambling vice. In so doing, I'm thinking Casablanca has given it the Ol' heave ho. The sportsbook has been transformed into a comicbook. Good ridden to the bank of TV's. Out you go ample seating. So long talley board giving the spreads. Usher in the new and unimproved thimble experience. A few roundtop tables, and I wonder what the line on the game is? In the place of the old sportsbook location, installed are yet more uninspiring slots. Yes slots are the bread and butter of a casino. But bread gets stale and butter will turn rancid before long. Before you know it, the Casablanca will lean toward its one time neighbor The Oasis. That remnant is a blight on the landscape of Mesquite. However that infection could spread west if ownership doesn't quit tinkering with what made this casino resort a success. The renovated rooms are nice, and getting rid of the buffet was probably the right decision. What's lacking is the once old school ambiance. Adding new this and new that may not have the desired effect. What may happen is that we'll decide to stay home and gamble on our phones. Or better yet, gamble on our phones while in a national park or sitting on a beach in Hawaii. With diminishing returns hovering, it may not be prudent to gamble on repeat business. Quick Tip: If you want a quiet place to hang, visit the business center next to the elevators. In all the years that I've been visiting, I've yet to see anyone (other than myself) in there. You could literally have a party and not have to worry about being disturbed. It's also five times bigger that the new sportsbook! read more

Stayed one night here to get a little getaway. Resort inside is a bit small, but still nice. Our favorite was the pool area. Loved the waterfall. They staff the pool with so many lifeguards and waiters; great service and the wait staff is so nice. You can get drinks by the pool for around $12 a cocktail. They even serve dole whips for around $9. They had a hot dog and fries deal for $5, which surprisingly came with every topping imaginable for the hot dog and was a great value buy. Pool area seems to never have the entire pool open which was a bit of a bummer and the slide closed both days we were there by 5 pm and opened early afternoon. They also rent cabanas starting at $175 per day. Even though the casino is a bit small, we still had fun playing craps and some slot machines. Our room was average. Room did have a safe, mini fridge, hair dryer, and iron. There are ice machines available as well. The property does boast a variety of eateries, with the cafe being a nice favorite for diverse offerings for all palates. Free WiFi is available. There is a gift shop onsite that sells some cute items and pool day essentials. You can also purchase sunscreen from the towel shack by the pool. read more

It's been years since we have stayed here but we always enjoy the hotel and casino. It's about an hour drive for us from Las Vegas. The rooms are basic, nothing fancy but clean. The Casino has really improved from our last visit; it has the newest slot machines and the table games have an upbeat vibe, especially at night. Their bars are nice, cool bartenders. Good restaurant options. The employees we encountered were friendly. The pool area is great, nice view and set up. Spa is excellent. Nice overnight getaway from Vegas. read more

Great friendly check-in, here for a 3 days for some golf and fun there's 12 of us Tables were a little tight on the first night, dealers have all been fun and professional. Sports bar took our bets on the masters tournament. Steven's steakhouse was excellent we got in there a little late the staff was very accommodating for about 10 of us. My generous piece of Blackened swordfish was fantastic green beans were seasoned just right their house rolls were warm with softened butter. Great experience supper staff everyone enjoyed the wonderful food. After a long drive we were beat our room was very clean bathroom nice size, beds comfortable Small refrigerator but no coffee the 9th floor provided us a outstanding view Looking forward to Teeing it up later Casa Blanca is going to be a great place read more

Many changes from last year. The change up with the restaurants was disappointing. They took out the hot dog cart, ice cream shop and coffee shop. They were so convenient. They also had a change up in the diner. Removed the buffet.. The beds were uncomfortable this time. Felt like I was in a huge dip. The edge of the bed slanted at an angle. I was very irritated with the cleaning staff, every morning. They were yelling at each other across the hallway while cleaning rooms in the morning. Made it impossible to get any rest. Stayed for the convenience of our event. Will look elsewhere next year. read more

The creeps they imported a few years ago to improve this casino came in and totally ruined whatever was still special about it.The creeps they imported came from the Strip where they had done the same things to chase people away.The rooms here have been terrible for a long time and especially the antiquated plumbing.The ripped out the free refrigerators and left the terrible ac and heating units from last century.They closed the only decent restaurant and replaced it with two overpriced specimens with noting special to offer. They took away their free rooms for special customers and increased their outrageous room rates for their lousy and antiquated rooms.Save your money and go on to Las Vegas. My friend and I went to this resort to celebrate my retirement after 42 years at my job. we had delicious food and fantastic service. And we certainly let the food and manager know about the incredible service staff that we had. We both had massages and facials at the spa and I highly highly recommend. There was a little hiccup on the room when I checked in, but it was resolved by a skillful front office manager. I had the opportunity to talk with the general manager, and he was more than pleasant. April 2026 room 8023 7:30AM! I can't begin to tell you what a horrible way it is to wake up to a rotary hammer above your head for over 30 minutes . And once that stopped we had to listen to a sledgehammer pounding above our heads until we could get out of the room! Everyone on the 8th floor was calling the front desk to please make them stop this noise luckily I grabbed my phone so I could record it so that the staff could really endure what we had to . Outside the elevator we found the inconspicuous sign that explained that there might be some noise after 9:00 from the construction work which obviously isn't true and even after 9:00 having to endure that kind of loud noise it's not something you should put your customers through that should be going on in the afternoon hopefully when they're not in their room . When I checked out to promptly ask for a credit, I played the video of the noise we had to endure while getting ready quickly this morning, so we could stop having to hear all this... the gal at the front desk then please turn that off I can't listen to it any longer . So if your own staff couldn't work enduring that noise your guest shouldn't. you can't you can't expect your guests to be okay with that how about not put anybody on the 8th floor..​ I suffer from Migraines and would have never agreed to a room that had to endure this kind of noise I would have paid triple for a quieter room . The fact that they don't have their staff having a conversation with their customer when checking in that hey in this room you may endure this kind of noise beforehand is ridiculous . I understand you don't want to chase your customers away but bad reviews and unhappy customers doesn't get you repeat business and it ruins your prospects of new business because of reviews like mine . We went back to try another stay all we heard in the room was construction, banging, noisy, and then after gaming about 10:00 PM, we tried to get something to eat. Everything was closed except for Einstein bagel little gal told us she had run out of all sandwich options so we end up going to bed hungry we used to love to come to this hotel but now it's been destroyed by upper management not caring and cutting way back on comps food service the place is a joke! it seems like all the employees have got a frown on their face. SOOOO WE TRIED IT AGAIN THIS SUMMER!! STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! Instead of no food there's no rooms! We called before coming out to see if we can get bottom floor or casino level for my disabled family member, they said we can put a request in for those floors, instead of informing us that those two floors are under construction n totally unavailable. We call on the way there still yup Rooms available and pools open! We get there and guess what??? No rooms are available on bottom or casino floor cause they're under construction. Any where in the hotel you can hear the construction, it was so loud the hotel was shaking. THEN THEY TELL US THE POOLS CLOSED why couldn't they tell us any of this the four times we called prior to coming. Because they still wanted us to come n just deal with it. We got our money back and stayed elsewhere. 38 years I've been coming to this casino and I don't know what happened the past couple years but I wouldn't suggest staying here anymore at all!!! no one knows what they're doing, everybody makes up their own rules and then they just straight lie to you on the phone just to get you out there. We had a fine one-night stay on our road trip back home to CA from CO. The good: Check-in was easy, and the valets were all super helpful and sweet. Our room was on the first floor, which is technically kind of underground, a little weird but fine since the window looked out over the courtyard and there was still plenty of natural light. Everything was clean and as described. Beds were comfy and linens were good enough. The bad: The bathroom was OLD, showerhead was maybe from the 80s and there was terrible water pressure in the shower. Only 2 pillows per bed (again, weird, I've honestly never seen less than 4 per bed even in a motel). Also there is no coffee maker OR free coffee in the lobby, so you are forced to go to their overpriced on-site shop which feels like a scam. Overall it's a fine place to stay overnight if it's on your way to or from, but not a destination I'd be likely to seek out otherwise. read more

No one here knows anything. We reserved a cabana at the pool and I was told multiple different prices, my card was charged another amount. I tried to ask to speak to a manager and I was completely ignored. Waited at the front desk to speak to someone, then had to wait for someone to call me didn't get to enjoy my time at the pool because I was waiting around for help that never came. I was told someone was going to come check on me after speaking to the food and beverage manager. No one ever came. It was very frustrating and annoying. read more

Went for the advertised steak and crab buffet. No crab legs and the steak grilled to order was terribly cooked regardless of the doneness you asked for. I have never slept in a more uncomfortable bed in my life. I sleep in a firm bed at home. These beds are like concrete. So are the pillows. Two pillows per bed and both were about a foot high and so hard they didn't give at all. In a room with two queen beds, the only two usable sockets were in the bathroom and on the wall outside the bathroom. No outlet on the lamps. Couldn't use the one behind the night stands because the stand was too heavy to move. There was one in the corner where the table is but we had to get on the floor and wiggle under the table. There is only one place for the elevators. To get to our room we had to walk all the way around the inside of the building, past at least 100 rooms. Seriously. The food in the restaurants was good. The valet Parkers were excellent. Quick In the casino, the porters would wipe off the machines and leave an ash tray full of butts. They didn't empty them. Oh, and the house keepers left dirty cocktail glasses with lime wedges and straws in them in the bathroom. And there are two low light lamps in the room only so if you dropped something on the dark carpeted floor, you had to get down on the floor and feel around to find it. Too dark to see.​ read more

The business i walked into was a completely new and updated experience!! Brand new casino floor, new games, gift shops, food court area, renovated rooms!! Neither was open. The walk way to the restaurants did not say opening soon, or no entry past this point. Staff were eating in the Rita's space. So I booked this Hotel because it is where most my son's soccer team was staying during the Coyote Cup Soccer Tournament. What a mistake! Do yourself a favor and make the drive and stay in St. George. The bad. I reserved this hotel 4 months ago. I was told when looking for my mini fridge they were taken out of the rooms 3 months ago. No consideration of the change was given and I am now being charged $15 a day to rent a mini fridge. $45 for my 3 day stay. Next I notice after buying food that needed a fridge and needed to be microwaved there is no microwave? So I have a safe in the room, a cabinet for a mini fridge with no mini fridge and no microwave? Utterly garbage. Next the room is dirty and smells like smoke because the doors don't seal. The pool is closed for the season so my kid cannot even swim? The good. The customer service from the lady who delivered my mini fridge last night was fantastic! And that's it. Nothing else has been good. In review I will never stay at this hotel again and I suggest you not waste your time either. Stingy management running this place pinching pennies make this a horrible place to stay. They have a fun atmosphere and 24 hours food. The gambling is worth it, because with a membership they give perks. Also, I usually spend $300 when I gamble and at least i can play with that for 4 hours, maybe 6 and sometimes leave up. Usually lose all but it's fun there. read more

The beautiful fountain in the entrance of casino was drained and broken. Our room was terrible-- bathroom smelled of mildew, ceiling was peeling by shower head, sink did not drain, bathroom fan did not work causing odor. Shower water was not warm and caused the soap to be hard to get off. . The fridge was not cold and the dresser was sticky on the ridge. All this and we are being charge full room price for a substandard room. I understand they are remodeling this casino and rooms but we were not told of this and we certainly didn't know we would be getting placed in a dump. I am disappointed with my favorite Resort hotel and sad that it spoiled our weeks vacation. Went to front desk and they did not offer any discount or Compromise. UPDATE: Since this review the shower water temperature has been fixed. Finally a perfect shower. Too bad they didn't offer discount for all of the room problems. read more

We've been to Casablanca about 8-10 times and we've always enjoyed our stays. But this last time my hubby & I thought it needed some major improvements in service. We felt that staff needs a better training in customer service and to be more informed when we ask basic questions. On tuesday 6/24 we received a lousy service from the pool waitress who had a bad attitude and was rude. Not sure what her name was but she was the only one working that day, probably in her early 30's or late 20's, latina, long black hair. My drink was a joke ( a baby cup ) and the BLT sandwich was awful - now I'm blaming the kitchen or the staff that prepared that food to service the pool area. On the other hand we received a great service from Jeff in Mesa buffet. He deserves a raise ! The room was clean except the area under the tv cabinet. The room service forgot to pick up trash after ppl before us. Another thing I'd like to point out are their palm trees that need to be trimmed because they are super messy, the flowers were all over - in the pool, hot tub and on me... We appreciate that they added new umbrellas, actually I'd love to see even more umbrellas because everyone wanted to have an umbrella and there weren't enough. We missed the Cafe but are looking forward to the new diner. We also miss the turtle game but at the same time we understand they needed to upgrade to a new point system. My husband booked a king suite for a getaway from Vegas based on the photos online. When we checked in(7/18- 7/20), we quickly realized we were catfished on the rooms based on the photo!! We went to the front desk to speak to the manager x2 the first day. We were told the manager was either on break or busy. There isn't a microwave in any room, just a mini refrigerator. That didn't work, just like our shower head w low pressure that had to build before the water flowed. We decided to just make it through the first night and then try a manager again. No luck talking to them. When we checked out, I asked the receptionist if any of the rooms were like the photos since that's what we paid for. She told us that the photos are of the currently renovated room that are unavailable at the moment. I showed her the photos of our room stating this isn't what we paid for. The fridge and shower were broken. She told us we should've been told that at checkin along w the jet tub being broken, too. How can they not have a disclaimer on the website AT BOOKING?? We were told the manager would be calling( again, they were unavailable) about the stay. To this day, NO ONE HAS CALLED. We just received an email to review our stay. Update- I reached out through their social media team. They issued a partial refund..so I'm satisfied. read more

All surfaces in the bathroom are dangerously slippery. The food is difficult because there is no actual coffee shop on site. Nowhere to sit down and have a coffee that's not in a busy hallway. If I'd wanted this level of class, I could have stayed home and gone to South Point. The breakfast sandwich I did order came wrapped in waxed paper and appeared a greasy blob of Disgusting, Cheap Food. The sink and the shower don't drain properly. The shower barely spits out lukewarm water. One thing Casablanca has going for it is the spa. Nice, comfy, and everyone is professional until today. Today, I was in the Ladies' Locker room getting dressed when I heard and felt something behind me. Guess what? Yes, a guest not only took a picture of my backside, but she also got my face and topless self when I turned around. How special, really special, I am to become the newest image on her Instagram page. I notified the spa staff and wrote the story on a suggestion card at the front desk. I have every reason to believe she tore it up. read more

This last weekend I had the honor of having my wedding at this resort and just truly had an amazing time. The rooms were beautiful. We had a bungalow suite and it made everything so much better the gazebo where the wedding was was beautiful. I know the fountains don't have water right now, but it truly turned out to be beautiful and amazing the castaway room where we had our reception was beautiful Dance floor was amazing and I could go on and on about the food. Whoever the chefs were that night were top-notch. We had the best fried chicken and salmon and grilled pork chops and brussels sprouts and potato salad. You can't go wrong with having a destination wedding here. It was absolutely amazing The director Aleana was beyond perfection. She is so good at her job. I highly recommend her and her team they were superb. I already want to go back next year for our one year anniversary like that that's how much fun we had and loved it. read more

We had a great time. Only 1 hour and 10 minutes from Las Vegas, when I got out of the car it was here I am . How wonderful. Room had a view over the gorgeous sprawling pool. Loved it. Used the spa for a couples massage, soaked and swam in pool by Spa, so very nice. Was hot outside so cement and railings very hot. Massage was fine. Also squeezed in a lip wax. Good prices. On to Kathrine's for dinner and excellent food and service. The next day drove to Kayenta, Utah. fascinating and great art galleries and the scenery to die for. Had lunch at Georges. Evening a shuttle took us to Virgin River for a 2 for 1 seafood buffet, cannot beat that and the crab legs were cracked!!!!1 back to Casablanca for a huge pool party and live music. Well what a great vacation. Breakfast at the cafe was generous and tasty. We had all kinds of promotions as well. Certainly want to get those promotions!!!! read more

Update: the lab tested the room and it was negative for bedbugs. I'm still unhappy with the way it was handled and that we had to follow up for information. But at least there were no bedbugs! This review is breaking my heart! But here it goes! We came to Mesquite for a bunco tournament at the Virgin River. We can get a room for $20 there with the tournament but decided to stay at Casablanca and pay about $110 for the night because it's a nicer property. Got in last night and went to bed all was fine. I woke up this morning to get my day started and looked down on my bed and saw something crawling... I guess you can see where this is going. I took a couple of pictures and my husband took a video. My husband went to the front desk and was given a card for the hotel manager from the manager on duty and was told to contact security to file a report. Security would not come to the room because of possible bedbugs. I had to go to the security office to file an incident report. Done. Went to check out and was told they won't comp the room until after they confirm bedbugs. No apologies no empathy - nothing! I didn't complain because I wanted a free room but it's the least they could do! I understand that bedbugs happens and I'm not mad about that. It was lack of concern from the staff that gets this one star review. I come here at least every couple of months but this will be my last stay here. I won't spend another dollar at the Casablanca. read more
