It was invaluable to receive his feedback and design ideas while touring our home and taking into consideration our natural lighting and privacy needs. Prior to starting my review I read all the previous reviews and was quite shocked at the negative reviews as my experience with mark and his staff at window creations was entirely opposite I was highly recommended by a neighbor who previously worked with mark and got to see his beautiful window treatments Scheduled an appointment mark was prompt, courteous , knowledgeable and helped me make my choices , he put up temp shades in my new home build and responded to all my calls. My installation date was around the time period he initially quoted me His installer was very efficient, helpful and professional - took his time to explain the operation of my treatments especially the automated ones I had a couple of issues with a window treatment weeks later and called Mark for help and he showed up the same day and resolved the minor issue I am very happy with the beauty, quality , service and outcome - I would and have recommended window treatments of Delaware without hesitation I had a mixture of Norman and Hunter Douglas treatments - as you can see in photos mostly plantation shutters, but also Hunter Douglas automated treatments ( love automated!!) , Norman sliding door drapes thank you mark! read more

I ordered two wood shutters for oval windows for my home in April 2021. I was told by Mark that the order would take 6 weeks. After six weeks and not hearing from Mark, I reached out several times and left messages on his cell and office phone numbers. It wasn't until late August 2021 that Mark finally returned my call after numerous attempts to reach him. He informed me that the template he had taken and sent to China was incorrect and he needed to send another template. I again reached out to Mark on numerous occasions to learn of the status of my order. I spoke several times to his office assistant, Tiffany and left messages for Mark. He never returned my calls. In late September 2021, I spoke again with Tiffany and discussed my dissatisfaction with Mark and his inability to return my calls. I told Tiffany I wanted my deposit refunded. That same day, I received a text message from Mark noting the return of my deposit. He never called to apologize or explain the reasons for the delay and his inability to return phone calls. In the five months of this ordeal, I heard from Mark once! He didn't have the common decency to speak to me regarding the status and return of the refund. While I am happy to have receive the refund, the customer service I received was inexcusable! Even though Window Creations was the lowest bid I received on the shutters, I would never use this company or his services again! I guess you get what you paid for! No shutters after a five-month wait! I am reluctant to even give Mark a one-star rating! read more

I would leave zero starts if I could. I placed an order in April 2022 and gave a 50% deposit. I was told 10-12 weeks for the product to arrive. At 12 weeks, I called window creations and texted them and got no response for several weeks until I called Hunter Douglas corporate and lodged a complaint. Window creations lied and blamed hunter Douglas claiming they'd lost my order. I was told by window creations the order would be expedited. It is now almost 6 months after I placed my initial order, I still have no window treatments and window creations will not return my calls or messages. I called corporate again and after much research they told me an order was, in fact, never placed. The owner, Mark, is a liar and a thief. Scheduled an appointment directly with Owner Mark, he never showed, nor did he provide an explanation. Finally tracked him down, he blamed his scheduler who we never spoke to. Contacted and utilized Dream Weavers located in Lewes who were professional in manner and provided a terrific service. Window Treatments were installed in a timely fashion. read more
