They would have got 4 or 5 stars if the installation crew had done the work as promised. I had 22 replacement windows installed. Day one and two not too bad except they didn't arrive before 9:00 am any day. They stopped work on day two, a Friday. I was told they'd be back first thing Monday morning to finish. Day three: They didn't show up at all and moved on to another job before finishing mine. Day 4: only came to caulk what they had completed. Day 5: supervisor and one crew member showed up and worked the entire day to finally finish. The sales call went well. The price was fair, but the installation was very aggravating. Not sure I can recommend this business. Maybe another installation crew would have been better, could not be worse. read more

So far, a VERY BAD dream, going on 2nd half of 3 months now. Of 10 windows, Six are installed of 10, 2 of those need replaced, 2 uninstalled windows are sitting in my garage, with the workers Sealant and blow torch tool bag. The trim is left exposed on the windows not to mention the Shutters that have been damaged and some Stucco damage (NOT SEALED). I have called, also this morning sent an email to Windows of Augusta to try to get SOMEONE to answer, at least get the job done, I was told "Lifetime Warranty"? Hell, it's gonna take a "Lifetime" to get these installed. I will re-post again when and if the job ever gets done. IF all goes well and they fix the damages to our homes exterior and broken windows they installed get replaced soon. At that time I will decide on a final post and do hope it will be favorable, Stay tuned and I'll let you know. read more

Customer service for this company is terrible. I'd suggest you go elsewhere unless you want to have a quote given only to find out they do not stand by their quotes and when questioned, you end up with someone raising their voice at you. read more

Owner came to measure door and entered property without permission (should have first sign). Continued with order due to great pricing and was told 6-8 weeks. At 8 weeks then was told that's not true 16-18 weeks. Repeatedly told there was no refund, but no more contact from the business until week 42 weeks later. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. They have threatened multiple times too. read more

Really disappointed! They installed windows a month ago in an investment property for me and never finished the job. Windows were put in but no trim was installed now water has been coming in through the exposed opening in the wall. Now I have to find someone to finish the job. No follow up, no call, no email, now quality control, no supervision, nothing. At least they didn't send me a final bill! I had Window World install windows in my home almost 15 years ago and they did good work. About 5 years ago I had another property done and it was fair work. Now they don't finish work. read more

UPDATE: Since I have reviewed Window World things have only taken a turn for the worse. I submitted a review (and photos) on their facebook page...which the manager Mark Burch has since removed the ability to review on the page. I have been accused of staging photos, called nasty, and a liar. Mark Burch (Window World of Augusta manager) has called my home 3 times , (seemingly inebriated), yelling, saying it's fine there were cigarette butts on the counter, that I was being "nit picky", calling me rude for not telling him my age, threatening to put a lien on my house.. etc All of these phone calls have been recorded. Mark Burch also used a "fake facebook" profile (which is associated with his Window World of Augusta cell phone), to harass my family. This has gone from beyond an "inconvenience" to just plain scary. We will be reaching out to Philip Laurance, the supposed CEO of Window World of Augusta. read more

Ordered a new front entry door from salesman of Window World. Picked out painted door and side lite from catalog. Waited about 6 weeks for door to come in and scheduled installation. Crew arrived with unfinished door unit. Called Window World of Augusta and they told me they had a factory trained painter to finish the door. The installation by the crew was terrible. They argued most of the time. They had white caulk all over the brick and used the wrong trim on the inside. Also the door was missing trim where the door and sideline connects. Called the office and they said they would send the factory certified painter/ trim man out to finish the door. First visit from the paint/ trim man went well with discussion of what he was going to do and said he would come back about a week to finish it. He seemed a little confused on what color to get to paint even with their own catalog. A week later he came out and said he couldn't remember what needed to be done so we went over it again. This time I supplied all the paint he needed. He scheduled another week to come back to finish. Well the third visit we went over the issues again and he wanted to reschedule again. That was when I called the office and wanted to talk to Mark Burch as to why I keep get rescheduled. He said I wasn't supposed to be rescheduled and he would find out why. Well same day the painter/ trim man was a bit upset and said I had two choices. One was keep the door as is and receives discount or order a new door since the installer screwed that one up. I said order the new one. Mark said he would try and expedite a new door and paint it in their shop. Well after about 6 weeks I called and they told me the door was in and would be scheduled for installation. I ask if it was painted. They said no but give them a couple of days and they would be ready. After about 5 days the scheduled to install. On the day of the installation I was called and told that when loading on the truck the side glass was broken. They told me they would have to order a new one. I told them that they could take the one here out and replace but they wouldn't listen. Then after a week they suggested they would use that glass and install the new painted door unit. When the installer arrived he ask if he could look at the door unit installed already. This wasn't the original installer but their official installer for doors. He suggested that he could fix the door unit there already and make it right. I ask why didn't they send you out originally and we wouldn't have gone through all this. He also suggested that their factory painter/ trim guy did a terrible job on the newly ordered door and i would be better off with the door unit installed already. The only thing I ask to use is the door itself since it was painted already. They finished the door unit up and finally after 7 months it done. All I had to do is get the paint back from them and finished painting the interior and sidelite exterior. The installer left before I could get the paint. I called the office to see if I could pick up the paint and they said he would drop off. After a week I called again and they said he would drop off that day. Well they claim they left it on my steps but I not at my house. Found out later that they painted the door a different color than what I gave them. I'm done with this company. I have had windows installed on 3 houses and received excellent work in the past. But never buy a entry door from them. I will never order another thing from this company. read more

I would NEVER do business with these guys again. NEVER NEVER NEVER. Installation took too long, and window metal work isn't sealed off as needed. I went above an beyond to help, by even installing ALL the down stairs windows (13 of them) myself since the crew would not be available for another week to do the installation. After the windows were installed (I had to correct a few of the upstairs windows they installed). How are you a window installer, if you do not know how to verify the windows are level? One of the picture window glasses is broken, and has been for over a month (it was my own fault and I am prepared to pay for the replacement glass). They are unable to get the correct replacement ordered, and are now holding up progress of the overall project. So in summary I have exterior window trim wrapped in metal that leaks water by the bucket load when raining, and I still have a broken glass that after a month and a half still isn't replaced. The manager, Mark, barely returns my calls, and WILL NOT come by to see the job. I have asked him to meet me on-site to determine if the job is or is NOT acceptable from a quality perspective. I simply ask that he take the time to meet me on the job site to discuss what is currently in place and determine is job is done. Good thing is that I still owe them $4,200 and will NOT be settling the bill until these issues are addressed accordingly. read more

Wow the saga continues! They claim to have the replacement glass, but will not install it until the balance is paid in full. I honestly do NOT know if I can believe they have the glass on-hand. I am now going to drive to the office, verify the glass is there, verify the dimensions are correct, and verify the glass is tempered (as requested). If all these conditions hold true I will be reluctantly be paying the balance of the account in full. At NO point during this problem has the "owner" taken the time to rectify the situation. I am amazed by their lack of care to provide good customer service. EVERYTHING about this project has been a mess, but it will soon be behind us! read more

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt I had to due to the recent reviews seen here. I honestly don't know what everyone is fussing about because my experience with Window World was great! You must keep your frame of reference right, as they are a discount window supplier, but the service, the people, the windows were exactly what I expected and I couldn't be happier. I write this review to encourage the 5 star snobs (which I am guilty of) to not overlook Window World when shopping for windows - you cannot beat the price. Make sure you do what they request (cars out of the driveway, stuff pulled away from the windows) and maybe offer the poor guys working out in the hot sun some water and they will treat you with the same respect. I will mention communication is a small gap, but nothing worth the loss of a star, and scheduling can be a challenge, but I hate to break it to yall, that is so with almost any construction company. 4.5 stars in my book but I round it up to 5 to balance the scales. read more
