Good service install went well but could have been more professional it be wise to have someone onsite that spoke fluent English.

The window world purchasing experience was positive. I originally visited their office and showroom in Edison NJ to look at what they offer. The quality of the windows seemed up to par. I requested an in home consultation and John Gary visited my home for an estimate. John did a good job of explaining my options, prices, process etc. I live in a townhouse community which has an HOA to work with, the team at Window world handled the paperwork and documents needed for approval. The order was placed and the windows and patio door were delivered earlier than expected. An install appointment was scheduled. The install went smooth, I will say the installers worked until 8:30 in the evening. I believe they may have under estimated the amount of time needed for the install. I would definitely recommend they arrive earlier moving forward. I was disappointed as screens came in damaged but were quickly fixed a few days later. There was a bit of a mess left outside as it was dark out when completed and I know the installers couldn't see the debris that was left outside. I was also disappointed to see that the windows were left with grime, caulk etc which needed to be cleaned afterwards. I was also not satisfied with the walk thru of the features of the windows, I did not know that the sliding window could actually be easily removed to clean them. All in all it was a good experience, the price was far less than Anderson and Pella. The warranty offered is very good. I am confident I made a good decision. read more

In the end, the window installation turned out okay. The salesman, Jack P. He was professional and personable. He did not press us to make an immediate decision, and did not insult other window companies like two other companies did when they came by to give us an estimate. The window installation was the issue. I paid extra for the a new window stool, which I received. However, Peter (person who installed window) installed it crooked and I had to call their office to get it fixed. Although this was frustrating, I was mostly agitated by the explanation I received as a result. John (I'm not sure of his position) said he would call me back after speaking with Peter. The excuse he came back to me with was concerning. Apparently, Peter said the bottom of the window was uneven which made it difficult for him to put the stool in even/leveled. I asked why he did not consider using shims or something to level it out?Also, why not make mention of this to me, the homeowner? (Besides the stool, he left so much debris behind on my back steps and backyard. I had to sweep the mess up afterwards.) Anyway, John gave me Peter's number and I called. I did appreciate this because Peter agreed to come back in the next two days to correct the issue. I called John back and let him know what Peter and I discussed. He snickered a bit and said Peter isn't supposed to schedule appointments, as he isn't in charge of his schedule. This was off-putting because I would think their first concern would be rectifying the issue. Besides, he gave me Peter's number to begin. Peter did show up and fix the stool. I am very pleased with the look now. However, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the overall service. read more

Had new windows installed on my enclosed porch. The whole process took about 4 weeks between measuring to installation. The crew were courteous, friendly, punctual, and most importantly cleaned up after. The windows themselves are stunning and completely change the look of the front of my home. The quality of work here was a highlight for me. Also their ability to explain what they were doing and why. We had some amendments during the job and they were extremely flexible and cooperative. We had a smaller error in the panes that they delivered with the grids. A quick conversation with the owners and they made it all right. Went to Window World about a year ago to get a few windows replaced, ended up getting all my windows replaced along with a patio and front door. Remo did not try to upsell you and was hands on from the beginning. I was very pleased with the work they did. I called them August of this year to have another door replaced along with a garage door I was told they usually don't do small jobs but will since we're existing customers. Larry the sales guy came out and said he would send us a quote but never received it. Called the office twice and was told the job was too small but to check with Larry again. Still no response. I thought Window World would be my go to company but I guess I'll have to look else where now. Very disappointed. read more

Back in 2014 I said in a review that we intended on replacing our windows and when we did it was Window World of Jersey Coast we'd hire to do the job. Well it took three years but on January 13, 2017 we finally got new windows and the patio door too and true to my statement Window World of Jersey Coast did the job. We couldn't be happier with both the windows and the installation! The crew arrived on time and got to work immediately, I knew one set of windows was never right due to poor original construction. I pointed them out to the crew lead and he took that project on himself, I know he had to do some reconstruction to make that space square. The end result? Those two windows are in perfectly and open as smoothly as the others. And that's something that hasn't happened over the last thirty years. And it was the details too. The crew was as neat and worked as clean as possible. They were finishing up and I glanced into my kitchen and there was one of the workers dusting off the kitchen table...it's the details! In closing I would say that if we ever need windows again we'd use Window World of Jersey Coast again but given that we went thirty years with the originals that probably won't happen. Window World in Edison is a fantastic company to work with. We had half of the house done in October 2019 and the rest done July 2020. The installers were good at installing and cleaning up afterwards. We had a few small issues after each installation. Like, we couldn't figure out how to get a screen back in. Someone came within a day or two. In the office, John is incredibly efficient, hopefully with an amazing computer. John knew where his salesman was, his crew, and everything about the schedule, if we had any questions. I had a fantastic experience with Window World of Jersey Coast. The window quality is great, the price was the best I had found and the workers were professional, neat and on-time. I had 5 windows and a Garden Window installed. What I like best is that twice I had minor issues, and both times I received a call back the same day I emailed, and a worker came out within a couple days to fix the issue. The salesman was fine. however he did state that they used "their own" installers, not subs. If that is the case than the 2 we had need to be replaced. From the looks of it they ARE NOT employees, but subs. The truck signage was removable and upside down so it is obvious that they did not care about who/what they were supposed to represent. The lead man seemed to know what he was doing. His helper did not. You do not use crowbars to remove windows. They left damaged window sills & one particularly bad gouge in sheetrock. The contract says that there may be some damage, but this was negligence. Siding was damaged in several places as well due to the inept window removal. We did expect some damage there but this was beyond normal. Too bad as the product is good, so no referrals from us. read more

wish I could give Window World 10 stars. The salesman, scheduling, measuring and install were all wonderful experiences. I went with Window World after another company, with whom I signed a contract with, and later cancelled, was grossly dishonest with their turnaround/leadtime. Window World salesman Mr. Paone, gave an honest presentation with product knowledge expertise and quoted a lead time of 8-10 weeks. Mr. Paone was straightforward with pricing and transparent with all aspects of the project timeline. He scheduled measurements on the spot and as promised Brett, showed up early to measure. Approximately one week after measure, I received a text from customer service who indicated my windows and patio door would be delivered Early July for the windows and August for the patio door. BOTH arrived early, and was able to schedule install the day after delivery! The installers were early as well. Neat, clean, respectful and super efficient as they were done with both projects within four hours without any issues. My patio door was 40 years old and both windows were new construction type installed 15 years ago. I cannot say enough of good things about this company. They stand by their product, are honest and last, but certainly not least, Window World came in $2500 below all three quotes that I received from Window Nation, Toms River Window and Door and East Coast windows. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future! read more

It started with talking to John...and everything he promised, estimate over the phone, quality and warranty, came out to be all true. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT? I started at Home Depot in Edison. I should have know better when the first contact I had there could not find the telephone number for their salesman. When she asked enough people she got him on the phone. The salesman was very nice. He came to house same day. He made measurements, gave great warranty, he left for check for half the money due. Another worker came a two weeks later, not the same warranty as promised, not the same windows that were first spoke about. There were others home Depot workers involved in making this not happen, especially the person in charge who "NEVER" stayed in touch, and everything I called she had no clue about anything!....$3000.00. I got deposit back in a few weeks. Window World made this happen with better windows and warranty than Home Depot first promised and all in at $1495.00....THANK YOU WINDOW WORLD!!!! read more

In todays day & age you are skeptical of a business if it not referred by family or friends. The day I had a appointment with Window World I decided to read reviews. The reviews were atrocious (didn't realize the reviews were from the Carolina's), so I decided to call them and cancel our appointment. After speaking to I believe it was John, he asked me to hang on, a gentleman by the name of Remo (president of WW) picked up and asked what had happened, I explained about the reviews. He reassured me his company had nothing but good reviews through BB & would take good care of us. After speaking to other companies my husband I decided to hire Window World. The day our windows were installed was one of the hottest days of July, so I made sure our installers had plenty of water, ice tea & bought them lunch both days. The reason we did that is because the 3 gentlemen were so polite & very hard workers. When they finished they asked us to step outside, and OMG our windows & patio doors were beautiful. All the debris was picked up, didn't look like any work was done on our home. Just to say Remo came over the other day to drop 1 of my screens and it was such a pleasure to meet a down to earth business owner. I got Window World's info off of the website. I filled out the more info request form and was called my a representative called and set up an appointment for a salesman to visit me. On the day of the appointment, I leave work early to be there. Needless to say, the salesman never showed and never called. Then they called me to reschedule. I told them no thanks. If this is how you treat perspective customers, how would you treat me after you have my money!! I do not recommend Window World. read more

A couple years ago we had our windows replaced by Window World of Jersey Coast. from the initial sales call to the installation every thing went smoothy. We are very happy with our choice of windows, double pane gas filled. The amount of sound reduction is great and the insulating properties are stellar. Recently we notice one of our screens had a slight tear. I called to see if they could fix this (not covered by our warrantee) and they were happy to do this for free. While at the apartment the repair person also inspected the rest of the windows (screens and all!) to see if there were any other repairs to be made. Needless to say we are very happy with Window World and would highly recommend them. read more

Window World was great with installing my windows and French door. The windows were installed with such perfection and you can see they take pride in their install. I never thought about the aesthetics of outside around the window until I saw their finished work. Makes the other windows I didn't get done look bad now. The French door is perfect and brings a nice touch to the room. There was a bit of a misunderstanding at first with what was to be done but Rimo was relentless in getting it done right and they eventually did. This company could not even show up for a sales appointment to replace all the windows in my home. I had a 2PM meeting set and received a call that the rep Frank would be about 1 hour late . Told them OK and about 45 min later received another call from John the operations manager that " Frank " would not be available till about 4-5PM. When I asked what the problem was I was told that Frank did not check his schedule this morning when he left the office. I was surprised that the operations manager John was pushing to cancel the appointment instead of feeling sorry that they screwed up. read more

I'm so very happy with the installation of my windows!!! I was comparing prices with a few other companies, and Window World came in with the best rates. They told me the guys would be there between the hours of 9am- 11am, and at 9am exactly, there was a knock on my door. They guys had the two front big windows, taken out and replaced with new in under a half hour. They did great work, and were there for a short period of time. I don't write reviews but I feel compelled to do this . Rimo is the most honest owner I have ever met in my 18 years in the real estate game . He has done work in my rental properties to my house . And every time super happy at a great price . Today blew my mind . The association contractor told me after multiple times coming out on behalf of the association that my windows were the issue and had to buy 3 new windows for the one opening in my rental property. So called my go to window guy and Rimo came out and spent quite a long time looking at the windows and said the association contractor did not put flashing tape around the frame and the windows are fine . They just need to be flashed correctly. Rimo basically had a 2500 dollar job cause it's a custom windows in hand but did not take it .And said first have the association contractor redo the job with this tape and the windows will stop leaking . He put his integrity ahead of profit and did not want to take my money for 6 year old windows that where fine but just needed proper installation. Find me a contractor that would do that in this day and age . Amazing person and very nice to work with . So his warranty in my mind is as good as gold . Cause warranties are only as good as the integrity of the owner . read more
