They asked me to put fencing around my shed. I did. Later, they said that I knew about the groundhog because of the fencing. I have dealt with a lot b of contractors over the years. While I wasn't too happy about such a steep fee to get someone out here to tell me what I already knew (hey your garage door is broken and it needs a cable), I couldn't really argue. They came as scheduled and Rickie had our door fixed in about an hour. Here's what I was really happy about - he found the cable wasn't broken but just needed to be put back on the pulley. So no parts charges and his integrity was definitely a cost savings to us! Kudos to these guys. Wouldn't it be better to talk to the homeowner and inform them That more pavement is needed rather than do it halfway?? We tried to resolve it with them. There was some wetness around downstairs toilet and it took about 5 minutes to replace the wax ring. We were told that a person would schedule for the pipe repair. Seeing that we were charged $ 800 for a basic service , we decided to dig ourselves. No break!! Just a lot of work for us and a high price for the wrong diagnosis! As always! Buyer be ware! We were not given an itemized bill. i think at the time we were to shocked to ask!
