I am not one to complain when I pay to have something fixed and use someones services and expertise. In this particular situation the fencer went bad in our barn and the GFI needed replaced also. Kevin Shomo Construction gave me a bill for $160 dollars. The GFI was replaced with a smaller one which was left uncovered. I had already installed the fencer myself. A GFI is not that expensive and not that hard to replace yet you claimed it took two of you 7 hours. My wife insisted it be done by professionals for insurance reasons. You charged me for fuel, you charged me for an extra device which I didn't ask you for, and on top of it all the fencer still didn't work. So I looked at my surveillance video and things didn't add up as you claim. That will be my Ace in the hole. Do you seriously want me to believe that it took two electricians to do what one man could have done in an hour? We hired someone else who had everything working in less than an hour and yet you got paid $160 to change a GFI, because that's all you did. When you think about it and put all the pieces together, it boils down to a crappy job and service. You need to re-evaluate your employees if two cannot solve a simple problem. You claimed that you tripped the line. When I looked at it the fuse was out of the Fencer and of course you never completed your job. Seven hours to do something so simple? Charging me to pick up a part most electricians carry, and fuel to do a job. So customers have to also pay for your company vehicles to run on top of it all. I will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau, Local Department of Commerce and leaving similar statements so that people don't get used by your company again. One last thing. Do not step on my property for any reason. As I stated, my grounds are under surveillance and no one should come here for any reason without prior permission. Doing so would be a foolish mistake. Folks if I sound pissed off, it's because I am pissed off. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere because this was wrong and I am seriously think of small claims court.

Since then he's installed tile and laminate flooring, reconfigured our living space by removing a wall and repairing the ceiling , installed several new doors, replaced our roof with a metal roof, fixed plumbing issues , solved drainage issues in the yard, fencing, we rely on him to winterize outbuildings in the winter. So far I haven't found anything that he is not able to do. The only complaint I have is that now that everyone knows how knowledgeable he is, it is more difficult to get an appointment. They are very hardworking and competent and I highly recommend them.

RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Overall quite satisfied with Green Oak. Recommend.

I reached out to Green Oak after searching on Yelp (s/o), and was extremely glad I did. Brian H. took me through the process from start to finish, including an insightful explanation of the insurance claim process. The free estimate happened within a few days and ended up being lower than the insurance-assessed quote. He recommended a roof "tune up" as part of the package without pushing or trying to upsell me for more, which i really appreciated. He also accommodated my inquiry of adding on the installation of a bathroom exhaust vent cap, which was missing when we moved in. After being extremely reasonable on pricing and lighting-fast on responses, they scheduled and completed the work the day after signing. The team was efficient and respectful, with a huge attention to detail. TL;DR - Highly recommend giving Brian and Green Oak Exteriors a shot to help fix your home exterior issues, especially when you are in a bind with your insurance company!
