After the hurricane destroyed 1/2 our beach house, we decided to install 4 large hurricane patio…read moredoors from them. They came out and took all the measurements and placed the order for complete door kits as they called it? Big mistake! And a $20,000 mistake! And now going on for over a yea we've tried to get all the correct parts and missing pieces of trim. They first dropped off the doors- very heavy and 1 of the doors was a foot short in every direction? They found our other door in warehouse and replaced. Next - upon installation there was something missing on every door whether it was trim, locking systems, screens etc. they found some parts in the warehouse and I had to go pick it up? We continue to contacted and they sent a guy out to assess all the missing parts etc., however he either did not let them know or they just decided to not inform us and we are continuing to get the run around. One of our doors would not unlock to open and I had to compare the doors in different rooms to diagnose the problem- it was missing a lift under the locking system? I took pictures, went and showed them and was told they would try to find the piece and get back to us- it's been another 2 months and several texts and no response? I ended up fixing it without the piece! I would not recommend this company to anyone and certainly would not believe anything they say!

If you think (as I did for many years) that Morehead Builder's Supply caters only to professional…read morecontractors then you are badly mistaken! MBS is happy to help DIY'ers and their prices on many items are lower than the Big Box. Best of all perhaps is that there is usually a very short if any wait to get service. Oh yeah did I mention free delivery on many items? They had materials at my flood-damaged house while the other guys were still trying to figure out a delivery date that would have been weeks out. I only wish I hadn't driven past their business for many years thinking they were for contractors only. Friendly knowledgeable and accessible staff!

The Workers at self checkout need to do better on treating customers better, I had an interaction…read morewith an elderly worker, who me and my husband ask for help bc we scan the wrong ID for the military discount, she was just mocking us and telling us we don't know how to read, and asking my husband if "the military didn't teach you something?" we didn't find that very funny, and a lot of unnecessary comments were made, we just wanted help with the self checkout not to be make fun off, I don't expect a 5 start service every time I come in this Lowe's, just a little respect from the workers.

Refrigerator bought from Lowes is OK, New service plan from Sears is not…read more My wife and I both work so it was very difficult to schedule two, not one, full days that one of us had to be at home all day to meet the service person. We reported three problems: He fixed one of them by changing the lights. The second - a problem with the ice maker resolved on its own and started making ice mysteriously before the technician arrived on his first visit. We were told on the first visit that he had ordered a part to fix a broken shelf, but on the second visit, were told that this was not an included repair and we would have to order and install it ourselves. Previously, Lowes worked with a local repair company we could speak with to schedule a specific time so would not have to waste a whole day waiting for the technician. And we could have clarified the issue on the shelf. But there was no opportunity to do that with Sears. Just saw that the total cost was $354 to replace the lights. Happy we didn't pay any of this but seems like someone was ripped off. Todd was pleasant and competent, but the program he works for sucks.
