When my wife and I purchased our window dressings from Window Fantasies over 2 years ago-Herb came…read moreto our place to do all the measurements and proceeded to let us know the process of installing them. He was truly friendly and very informative about the products. Sometime later, our patio blinds had an issue and we contacted them. Mike, who was the original installer, came by and shortly after discovered there was another issue going on simultaneously. He took the entire mechanism to the shop where they repaired everything at no cost(minus the visit cost). Fast forward to now, our bedroom blinds stopped working recently and my wife contacted the original installer who informed her that the company was sold and he was no longer there. So she reached out to the new owner, who apparently works 3 days/week and also has another job. After 2 and 1/2 weeks of waiting- the owner called back and without so much as offering an apology to my wife for the waiting time-he proceeded to say that they would come out for a monetary fee but that he now only deals with designers. Needless to say- my wife was not pleased at all by his attitude and his remarks. Fortunately there is a company in Bedford who will be able to repair our blinds. And they were very friendly on the phone. As for Window Fantasies- sounds more like Window Nightmares with this new owner who I can promise will never have our business in this lifetime.

I had two large living windows to cover (72 and 84 inch wide) and wasn't sure which style of blinds to go with. Julie was incredibly patient as I flip-flopped back and forth. She offered excellent advice and helped me weigh the pros and cons of all my options. She's so friendly (and funny) and easy to talk to, that I really felt like I had a friend shopping with me! An important aspect and something that I very much appreciated is that she gave me her honest advice regarding functionality and aesthetics, without trying to lean me toward the more expensive options. She genuinely wanted me to be happy with the style and color, no matter what I decided to go with. All my questions were answered promptly, whether I called, texted, or emailed. Her husband, Joe, did the quick and professional installation, and it was very reasonably priced. And I am absolutely THRILLED with my window coverings (I ultimately decided on Hunter Douglas top-down bottom-up blinds). They delivered in a big way. Julie helped my select shade colors and styles and then helped me narrow down my choices. Sent me samples so I could see how they would look different times of the day. We wanted to replace our older glass shower door and received three quotes from local suppliers…read more Pioneer Glass was prompt, patient and professional. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.
