I whined when my man chose ground beef- the very words "ground beef" disgust me. But I ate two patties. Kid you not. The texture was perfect (juicy, juicy) and the flavor was unlike anything I've ever had. And all he did to prepare them was to add salt and pepper. This dairy also does raw milk products, but to get these treats you have to become something like a shareholder... it's a complicated, rather spendy system. Most of the cows were far away, roaming the 80+ acres of the dairy. We were able to get a mini tour of the dairy behind their storefront and to the side. Would be cool if they posted when the cows were milked so we could have planned, but all in all it was a fun visit. Weather was a bit treacherous so we didn't stay to see the cows being milked but just that they offer this is super cool! A great way to connect how milk, cheese, eggs, etc. get onto our table.
