It started without a problem for a week or so, then today the same problem occured. I called the folks at Pineywoods hoping to get some insight into the problem. They advised me to try to get it started, and bring it in. I did manage to get it started, they worked it into their schedule right away, determined that the truck (which I bought used) still had it's original battery which far exceeded it's life expectancy. So they fixed me up with a new battery, and poof... problem solved. I'll be taking my '96 vette there next, as it needs a bit of work.

0 Brakes locked?/$4000 to repair?…read moreRV was riding rough. We knew we needed tires but wasn't sure about anything else it might need. Took to PatRicks for an estimate/diagnosis. Drove 45 minutes to them. They said our front brake was locked up. ??No hot smell, no pulling. Said we needed brakes done and it would cost around $4000 . ??? What the heck! $4000 FOR BRAKES??? Charged us $150 for their 'diagnosis'. Drove back 45 miles, used a thermal gun to check temps on wheels...NORMAL. Took RV to a different garage. Brakes NOT locked up. 65% good brakes on front, 70% on rear. Got new tires all around, drives great. Less than a thousand dollars for all new 10ply tires, ZERO BRAKE WORK. SO....PATRICK'S IS A LYING SHYSTER GARAGE. Our opinion. You can form your own.

Called the breakdown number for the bus company I drove for and these guys (Matt) showed up within a pretty reasonable amount of time. From the time it took from my breakdown to being back on the road was apx 3 total hours. Took about an hour for them to source the roadside repair company. They were there within about an hour of that time. And Matt had the tire switched out in and me back on the road in less than an hour. You have to watch what you order from these people for several reasons. 1) Just because they…read moreadvertise its for your car, it might not be. 2) What they advertise might not be what you get; the picture matched what I needed, but what I got was different requiring more modifications than I was willing to do. 3) Let's say they sell you two parts as a solution to your vehicle (its what they advertise). Lets say those parts are a fuel pump and fuel line. Those two parts are not necessarily compatible with each other, but they won't tell you that. Summary: Just because it might fit your vehicle (or not), the part may not be "correct" for the application.

The next interaction was picking up a catalog for his model mustang. Ignored by one lady, had to repeat ourselves to make sure that we weren't doing anything wrong by taking the catalog. We asked if they were free, the lady that did respond says, YES" with a nasty tone. She never looked to acknowledge us. My husband said, "That was weird."
