0 Brakes locked?/$4000 to repair? RV was riding rough. We knew we needed tires but wasn't sure about anything else it might need. Took to PatRicks for an estimate/diagnosis. Drove 45 minutes to them. They said our front brake was locked up. ??No hot smell, no pulling. Said we needed brakes done and it would cost around $4000 . ??? What the heck! $4000 FOR BRAKES??? Charged us $150 for their 'diagnosis'. Drove back 45 miles, used a thermal gun to check temps on wheels...NORMAL. Took RV to a different garage. Brakes NOT locked up. 65% good brakes on front, 70% on rear. Got new tires all around, drives great. Less than a thousand dollars for all new 10ply tires, ZERO BRAKE WORK. SO....PATRICK'S IS A LYING SHYSTER GARAGE. Our opinion. You can form your own. read more

I have used this business on 3-4 occasions and 2 of those times I've had to take my rv back because what I'd paid for had not been repaired. 1. I purchased 6 new tires for my RV and told them to repair left rear air bag. When I got home I checked the air in the tires and every tire had different amount of air. I aired up the air bag and glory b the bag would hold air. I called PatRicks and they said can you bring it in and we'll check it out. I just got home and no and I'm not bringing it back, it's 20+ miles. 2. My rv started leaking from the rear differential. The generator would not start. I went to PatRicks told them about the problems, and asked them to change oil filter in rv and oil filter in generator. When I finally got it back and $1600.00 later I parked it in my driveway and 2 days later I discovered the oil was still leaking from the rear differential. Again I called and the service writer can bring it in and I had no choice. I took pictures of the leaking and clearly the rear end had not had a socket/wrench on it. It was still rusty looking with no indication it had been touched. I took it back and picked it couple days later they said there's no charge. Patrick is where we take our RV to have it's oil changed. All of the employees there are fantastic. This weekend while traveling down south for a football game. Our engine light came on and thank goodness. It was close to Patrick's about 23 miles away. We called them and they said they couldn't take us in that day, but to come in at 8 AM in the morning. Then we we did ask them if we could just come in and have it put on the computer to see what was going on. They did not have a problem with that so we went in. They were awesome. They checked it found out we needed our spark, plug wires replaced, which is a common problem in this type of RV Showed us an RV park to stay in just a couple miles away went back in in the morning at 8 o'clock and they had us out of there and back on the road by 930. We will definitely keep going back there for service. they do an excellent job. read more

We had our class A RV diesel pusher serviced here before leaving on a cross country trip. They were to change the oil and all filters in the engine and generator. When we got to Topeka we developed a diesel fuel leak at the fuel separator filter. This could have caused a fire on the road and we could have lost it all! We had to call a Mobile mechanic and when he pulled the filter he found they had not put both gaskets in! I hate paying for other peoples negligence. I contacted them and sent them screen shots of the bills as they directed. Then they stopped responding. Do not take your vehicle to PatRick's. read more

A while back, I owned a 2020 GMC Terrian and needed a brake controller installed. I went to PatRicks early in the morning and waited for nearly two hours to have the job completed. The price of the project was over $500, which included the controller and of course labor. A year later I purchased a 2021 Buick because I needed a vehicle with additional towing capacity. That time I went to a place that was closer to the dealership. That installer only charged me $55 for labor, but I supplied them with a new controller from a local parts shop for about $150. It took that company less than a half-hour to install the unit. read more

I needed to have the timing belt, waterpump, tensioner and other related service done to my 2014 Honda Pilot. All parts they used were Honda factory and not chinese junk, and the were much less expensive than 2 Honda Dealers. They started out ok. Seemed to be knowlegeable, fair, etc. First set of problems with RV went ok. Then, had to have an awning replaced. They told me they needed to do a lot of research and they didn't typically do awnings. What RV repair center can't replace an awning? I wound up getting a nice mobile RV guy to do it without a problem. He replaced ALL of the awnings needed without having to come out and do a bunch of measurements (which seemed to be the problem wt PatRick's.) That notwithstanding, I had some problems with the front disc brakes and the cab a/c. They said they fixed it. I paid a fortune to have everything "fixed". I picked it up, drove it 2 miles and the ABS lights came back on, and the cab A/C began making horrible noises. I called them right away, turned it around and took it back. They said they only checked the RV turning to the RIGHT (no one took it out and turned it to the LEFT) and there was still a problem. Well, yeah -- there was -- and they said they only checked the A/C on a cold day so they didn't really turn the A/C fan up to high. So there was still a problem. They finally fixed everything - but I will NEVER go back. It took them 3 times longer to fix everything than they said, and clearly their Quality Assurance leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Fantastic shop and very accommodating. Visiting from Chicago and knew I needed a window regulator on my vehicle. I gave them the year of the vehicle by phone and they had the part ready for my appointment. They had my door panel off and took out the broken regulator to find out I gave them the incorrect model year. I had my car towed here by Dave's Towing after hours and called them the next morning to tell them what happened and what I needed to be fixed. I unfortunately never met them but Kyle and Chad (? Forgive me if that's not right, I only spoke to him twice) were so great and understanding about everything. Kyle kept me updated on prices and the status of my repairs (I had my entire radiator replaced, a new thermostat installed and an oil change) and even worked with me on being able to get my car after hours and worked around my vacation, and even offered to stay open a few extra minutes so I could come by and get my car when it was convenient for me. I broke down on the way from Atlanta to Orlando and I'm so thankful this was the shop I picked to be towed to. As a 20 year old girl alone with a stressed out dad at home, these guys definitely made the process of everything that much less stressful. I wish I could've thanked them in person. I cannot express my disappointment with PatRicks Auto enough. I took my car in for a repair, I was charged a fee after they looked at my vehicle and said they could not complete the repair at this garage, and I should go to a specialist. Then I saw my interior was damaged! Broken plastic, scratched up dash and window tint....I was told they would get back to me about replacements. They never did. After months of calling and no resolution, only empty promises to get me off the phone, I finally resorted to the Better Business Bureau. That got them finally moving. I was shipped used parts shortly after, even though the excuse they gave me for the last few month was they couldn't get new parts, and didn't want to replace the broken interior with used ones. The service is incompetent and they lie to your face to get away with it. This shop does not stand behind it's work at all. Avoid at all costs! read more

I paid over $2000 for repairs to the exhaust manifold and the steps motor, and any other problem I wanted looked at was going to cost me $90--just to look at it! Does that seem reasonable? On top of that, when I brought my RV home I discovered a litter of four kittens had taken up residence! read more

DO NOT REPAIR at PatRicks in Ocala FL! I had repairs at PatRicks in January 2011 on my motorhome and believe they intentionally damaged my motorhome because I refused other overpriced repairs. They quoted $1,767. to put in new plugs and ignition coils. I purchased the new parts at NAPA and installed them in less than 1 hour for a cost less than $600. Talk about gouging the customer. They did perform repairs on the brakes charging over $900. and somehow in the process the rear axel seal was damaged causing gear oil to leak from the rear axel. Luckily I found the damaged rear axel seal and fixed it correctly before it caused irreversable damage, an accident or injury. I would not trust any work from PatRicks. read more

We have traveled cross-country towing a trailer, and when we got to Ocala, I noticed a gas odor a couple of times. We also wanted to get the oil changed and an electrical short looked at. The staff here was very friendly and professional. We left the truck with them for the day and they did a complete analysis of the issues I was having. Rather than trying to sell me on an expensive fix for the electrical, they simply recommended some minor changes to the way we had been using the lights, changed the oil and fully tested the fuel supply. We were out the door for under $200, satisfied and confident that our trip home will be fine. I hoghly recommend Patricks and will be bringing all our cars here when we relocate next year. read more

patricks has great reviews but when they gave me an appointment they told me 1 to 2 hours for an estimate turned out to be over 3 hours. charged me 85 dollars to drive my car 7 miles and put up on a lift and just look at it not even hooked up to a computer. the mechanic told me one thing and wrote a report completely different. made me feel very uncomfortable so much that I decided not to have my work ever done there on no vehicles. don't know how they can have a good reviews with so much polite sarcasm used by their manager that acted like I was not suppose to ask any questions what so ever even though I was paying out my own pocket. made me late for my college class all because no one could find a price on a single item it took them one hour additional to reach that point and completely twisted my words with a third party that called to talk to them as a different story than what they told me and a witness I had on my cell phone the entire time that heard the entire conversations of my questions and their answers to be different the next day to the other party. I would not recommend this shop to no one because they even missed the obvious visual flat spots on my tires and said that there no flat spots and called it variations instead. this is not a shop that is honest and obviously might make a kickback with money just making up stories. good thing I have a witness. service polite sarcasm with a smile and long waits. read more
