We leased a spacious corner unit for 14 months, and I have to say, it was a WONDERFUL experience! It's a beautiful building, and it is an extremely well managed property, in particular given the professionalism of the staff led by Taylor. I give this a 5 star (5 out of 5) ranking and as a suggestion to anyone looking to relocate to Dallas. This place has so much potential. The apartments are nice and spacious and the surrounding area is quiet and chill. The primary issue is the amenities and safety of the apartment. For instance residents pay for parking but there is never any parking spots available after 7pm once everyone is back home. This is a big inconvenience as you typically have to park on the uncovered roof or look for parking on the street. This could probably be remedied if there were less "reserved" spots which are mostly empty, and if the parking gates were fixed (preventing excess guests/non residents) from parking in the resident parking area. Also many entry door locks to the building are broken so anyone on the street can enter the building at any time posing a huge safety risk to both residents and their property (packages, cars, homes, etc). The package area has many lockers broken and often many packages are left on the floor for anyone to take (which has resulted in a few lost packages) Management, while nice people have a lot they need to do to make this place a safer and more enjoyable place for residents to live in. read more

My sister and I have now lived here for over a year and have absolutely loved it! The staff is incredibly kind and super helpful! Out of all of the apartments I have lived in I have never had better management than here at the Windsor. Arianna in particular has been such a joy to work with and is incredibly helpful! She is always quick to answer any question we have had. I also love how well they maintain the property here. They keep all spaces so clean and it does not go unnoticed! The maintenance team is also so incredible and on top of it. Whenever we have put in a maintenance request someone is usually there to help that day. Every person that I have ever spoken with has truly been so kind here. I also love how they have events for residents. They always seem to have something fun planned for us which I really enjoy! It helps create such a good community here. I am so grateful to have found this apartment complex and I recommend it to anyone considering! These are nice apartments and they are situated in a pretty good area as far as location goes. You are in walking distances of the mall, Target, three Starbucks, and a host of other stores. You are located next to two highways, and I feel as if I am 15 minutes away from downtown and Frisco. The drive in either direction does not take long. The management team has been wonderful. Joseph and Brea really take on a lot of different roles and wear many hats. Both of them have been so nice to me and have treated me with the utmost respect; no matter the reason I come to the office. Joseph is so polite and you can tell he really cares. Brea is quick, in her responses and when it comes to handling requests, and gets the job done. The maintenance staff is always polite as well and they do a great job of handling requests on time. There is a new leasing consultant in the front, I am unsure of her name because she is new, but she's been very helpful as well. It's nice to live in a place where you can tell that the management looks out for you and your best interest, but also one where they enjoy the property and do their best. read more

This property was taken over by Windsor in October of 2018. Since the new management has taken over a lot of the amenities and luxuries that were previously advertised have fallen through. There have been numerous break-ins to vehicles in the parking garage with tires stolen and cars vandalized. The front gates have been broken for a month and a half. Residents were promised that the gates would be fixed by March 1, but they have still not been fixed, and the broken gates are still in laying in the parking garage. Trash can continuously be found in the hallways throughout the complex, as well as pet feces in the hallways. Management is unresponsive to the complaints and simply state that they are sorry for the inconvenience, but take no action to rectify the situation. Additionally, the complex charges residents a monthly $25 fee for maintenance and upkeep, but the property is constantly in a state of disarray. read more

I've lived here for 4 years and it's been great! Recently, I have to say, for whatever reason my garbage disposal and shower faucet broke. I put in a maintenance ticket for each and the very next day when I got home from work, all were fixed! I've never had an issue with maintenance turnaround and I do owe a special shout out Devon in Maintenance because he's always so nice and always has a sense of urgency in everything he does!!! I've never had to follow up to remind them because every job order gets done within a day. I also have to mention the other amazing staff that work here; always pleasant and helpful! Joseph Is the property manager and does a damn good job! He's ALWAYS happy, courtesy and always helpful. I've never had an issue he couldn't resolve! I can't say enough great things about this place. We are very pleased with the new Manager Taylor .We've been here for 5 years .Since Taylor started the cleanliness in the complex and things getting done faster and much butter.The repair men doing great job as well.She's very respectful ,responsive and you can tell she have a passion for her job, and really cares for the tenants .We Just renewed another year. This place is quick to respond to maintenance requests. They have public safety meetings, and I literally get my package even when it's delivered to the wrong apartment. Sound travel could be a little less intense, but that's the builder's fault. The place is a fortress. My guests and delivery drivers can't get through after hours. I have a verified Twitter profile and can't take public transportation without being stalked and have had ZERO issues here. read more

He was well professional and was able to assist me in all of the work orders that I place in. He was even able to give me some suggestions about electronics and my entertainments stuff. Long Overdue Review *grab some popcorn while you read through this* So, I moved at the beginning of November 2019 and have lived in this area since 2006. I previously moved from the Villa Piana apartments down the street, where I lived since 2010. This is an honest review and as a professional apartment dweller, I have some real concerns about these apartments. I'll start with the good 1. newer apartments in this area, but now with the Modera open next door, not the newest 2. nice pool and gym area Now, to the not so good/great. 1. Security - probably the biggest problem with this Community. Like I mentioned, I lived in Villa Piana down the street for 9 years. That complex was much more secure, 2 sets of gates one to get into the first level (where guests could park) and then up to the 2nd+ levels for residents. Each floor was secured with fob access, meaning no one could enter without a key fob. The security at Windsor by the Galleria is non-existent. In less than 3 weeks of moving in, my car was broken into. The gates in the front of the garage were broken for over a month, and I still don't understand how guests are supposed to enter the garage without getting out of their car and dialing you. The floors (with the exception of the first floor) are not secured by key fob access, a big no-no for a complex that touts itself as luxury. 2. Trash - besides the ridiculous $35/month trash fee (more than my parents pay for their single family home), there is no dumpster and the trash bins are frequently left outside the main entrance of the garage (several days a week). This is definitely not the look you'd want to see in yourluxury high-priced apartment. It's ugly. 3. Price - so for what it's worth, these apartments are overpriced by $200/month. You're paying uptown prices for the hood, where your car will inevitably get broken into :) You are nickled and dimed with fee after fee. I've never seen so many fees at any apartment I've lived at. $35 - Valet Trash Fee - really unnecessary and overpriced $ 7 - Admin Water Fee $ 5 - Pest Control Fee $25 - Common Area Maintenance Fee $72 - month in Fees = $72*12 months = $864 a year in pretty pointless fees (probably as much as your car insurance) I was also charged $10 for water activation fee. Not sure what they had to activate. Again, never been charged that at other apartments 4. Parking - parking is awful! There are not enough spaces on your floor and the big pillars in the garage and small spaces means your car will most likely get dinged or scratched 5. Common Area Maintenace - that thing you're paying $25/month for. Again, I came from a property that was 10 years old and much better maintained than this place. There is dog poo in the grass on Bryce Lane so be careful when walking on it (especially if it's dark!) There was dog crap in the hallway outside my apartment. (that may be more indicative of the type of residents that live here). Whenever, I want to get a cup of a coffee from downstairs, there never seems to be cups and/or creamer. Again, last place I lived was always fully stocked. Not sure why this place can't seem to get it together.The maintenance people are loud and noisy every weekday morning and on their cell phones yapping constantly. 6. The apartments themselves. - When you tour, you think to yourself these are nice apartments, but when you actually live in them, you realize that they are cheap. I can hear every footstep of my upstairs neighbors, every creak, every shower, etc.The insulation is terrible and finishes cheap! I have no idea what kind of cheap countertops they put in the kitchen, but they look like formica. The cabinets and hardware are also poorly made. Every morning when I try to dry my hair in the bathroom, the circuit breaker trips. Every single morning! Not sure why. My refrigerator when I moved in smelled like old meat and garlic and it's missing the bottom panel. I asked them to put in a new filter and they said they did, but I'm still seeing particles floating arount in the water. When I googled this, I read that it could be hard water. The floors are a cheap vinyl and I get no cell service in my apartment. There is no coat closet, linen closet, something you might expect in a "luxury" apartment. So, yes, I made a bad decision in moving here, but it's ok, as with everything in life, change is inevitable, and my time will be up here soon. Hello, I would NOT recommend moving into the Windsor by the Galleria Apartments in Dallas, TX. I moved in a little over a year ago, and I wish I had made a different decision. They are constantly changing leasing office hours and apartments policies to accommodate the leasing office and not their tenants. They put polices in place that allow for no decoration doormats or wreaths to be hung on doors and tenants with pets not on leashes or urinating on the floors go unpunished. Furthermore, with the current state of uncertainly the leasing office added on extra fees and at my move out during COVID-19. When asked what the fees were I was met with attitude from Jordan in the leasing office. I asked if there could be any discounts at moveout to accommodate tenants having to take pay cuts and losing their jobs. I want to also note that I left my apartment in great condition. I was simply told no. No one offered any help. It was as if, it wasn't affecting them so why care. All I was looking for was a little compassion. If you have any other choices for apartments to move in to, I recommend choosing another one. I hope this this was helpful. read more

Have lived here a month and so far it has been great. I feel like people dwell on the negative far to much. Apartments are Apartments... if you don't like it go buy a home or condo. I haven't had any issues, staff are amazing, and I have dogs that go out late & early at night.... I've never felt unsafe. I simply ensure no valuables are left in my car and haven't ever had issues.... break ins happen at the most high end places. i have been at Windsor close to 2 years . can't wait for current lease to end . security is horrible at the place ... gates never working and main doors all seem broken ... easy access to anyone . Gym equipment is old and broken , trash all over the place , hallways smelling , garage is dirty and not well lit , fire alarms go off all the time ... falsely ... horrible if u work from home . Amenities fees are high for the state of the place . leasing office is never open , phone calls are never answered... I could go on but all I can say .... do not move here ,,,, check the apartments around .. you will be happier.And one last thing ... the community is noisy ... parties all through the night .... run do not go to Windsor! read more

the windsor by the galleria has a great location directly across from the galleria mall. the landscaping in front of the building is groomed to perfection. upon entering the building you view a beautiful lobby with a great deodorized scent. it's all a setup!!!! this is the worst managed property ever!!!! they should feel guilty for charging the tenants as they do not care about this building or the tenants!!! collecting rent is what it's all about!!!! 1) no daily, weekly, or even monthly cleaning staff. 2) the windows within the hallways, gym, business center, pool area, haven't been cleaned yet and i'm approaching the end of my year lease. 3) the carpet in the hallways are super dirty & stained!!! 4) the only area in the building that doesn't stink is the lobby when you first enter the building. 5) the security doors seemingly never work with your key fob!!!! 6) the security parking gates hardly ever work with your key fob if at all. such an inconvenience when you are getting off work and simply want to get in your apartment that you pay a very high price for!!! 7) when go to the trash room to empty your garbage open the door and almost every time the room is completely full of trash !!! this makes sense as they managed this building like a trash dump!!! 8) this building has no security at all/ no live security guard/ no nobody!!! 9) the elevators were not working for almost (2) months. we had to use the pet elevator that stinks to hell like the hallways!!! 10) one positive the maintenance guys do their best to get to you as soon as they can. their simply is not enough of them as the windsor by the galleria doesn't give a dammmn about anything but collecting rent!!!!!!!! 11) another positive the property manager joe was excellent at trying to meet your needs and understanding you concerns, however he could only do what his management allow him too and now his left!!!!! 12) they promised us new carpet after they finally painted the walls. we haven't got new carpet yet and now the carpet looks even worse with stains!!! 13) the pool is currently shut down during hottest time of the year. do not move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

A little bit about me. I have been a two year resident at this apartment complex and 10+ years living in rentals. I also have a second apartment in another state with a different management company. So I know a little something about apartment living. I will be honest, have there been opportunities, absolutely. Welcome to apartment living. Those issues are not unique to just this complex. With that being said, I have really enjoyed my time living here. I love that the apartment feels more like a hotel with their closed in and carpeted hallways. Parking garage has been upgraded significantly, with quick closing gates and closing warning lights. Very secure feeling. (Do people speed around, yes, is it annoying, yes. But those are your neighbors, they are everywhere and not the apartment complex fault). Beautiful pool and clubhouse, both are well appointed with wonderfully invited seating. Apartments are also well appointed with modern details. I can't speak for 2 or 3 bedroom apartments, however my larger 1/1 is open and airy. I appreciate the solid surface flooring in the living area and the large closet and bathroom combo. I do miss a linen closet, but made space with the provided shelving in the closet. Lastly, the management team is inviting and personable. They host many events monthly, who doesn't like free food and drinks. Utilities are very efficient IMO, very affordable. (Definitely less than my other apartment by half.) Area is busy, but has many amenities with the mall being across the street, huge selection of restaurants nearby and AMC. Easy access to 635 and DNT, super convenient to access downtown, both airports and northern suburbs of Plano & Frisco. Good luck in your search for your next living spot. read more

I'm confused by Kate M's review calling this place a fortress. My truck was stolen from the "fortress" parking garage my second month here. Going to go out on a limb and say the parking garage gates being open 24/7 had something to do with it. Pretty sure the gates being open also had something to do with the 2 trucks having their tires stolen 2 & 3 weeks after my truck was stolen. Could also have something to do with the car that was broken into last month. Anyone can get into the parking garage here, and can enter the apartment buildings with ease. BUTTTT the apartment complex did call me 3 times for walking too loud because my downstairs apartment neighbor complained. Also, had a Hello Fresh package (food) delivered two months ago. The delivery person messed up and took it to the front desk. They called 2 days later to tell me I had a package. Food was spoiled. This place is horrible. read more

The Windsor has had security issues but has stepped up with new high-end gates. Though unfortunately several cars were broken into and it took too long to replace the old broken gates, the issue has been rectified. Aside from security issues, staff is attentive and the property is very nice though it can be loud due to inadequate insulation in the interior walls that are shared with the hallway. read more

I have lived at this property for 1 year. The finishings, pool area and other common areas are very nice. However, this property has seen so many car break ins/vandalisms that I can't count how many anymore. This has been an issue with the old property management team (Modera) and now the new company (Windsor). Windsor has hired an onsite security guard, and with that they have given every resident a monthly $25 common area maintenance fee to help pay for that (ridiculous). When you ask the property management team what steps will be taken, they all say crime happens everywhere. That is not a good response to help assure their residents that their cars will be safe and further actions are being taken. read more
