First time here and we did takeout. We got the roast beef hoagie and a pastrami sandwich. Both were decent. Service was friendly. They do have tables if you want to eat there. Open for breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday. Plenty of parking available. read more

We had lunch at Winsor Deli yesterday. What a pleasant surprise. this is a clean & inviting deli for breakfast or lunch. I had a steak sandwich with provolone cheese, onion, sauce and house made roasted red peppers. Delicious!! I could only eat half of it. My husband had the Reuban, another delicious sandwich along with yummy crispy onion rings. This is a husband and wife team that are new owners of this deli, I see the bad reviews are from the previous owners. Give these new guys a try. I ordered turkey & roast beef hoagie and was told I had to choose between12" or 24" size roll. I chose 12", which they cut it in half, wrapping each separately. I noticed both halves had one slice roast beef w little turkey, which I was upset about as I paid over $12 for sandwich. Sandwich also included cole slaw as a topping. Me and my husband come here to eat occasionally, and I really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the last time we went just was not good at all. It wasn't the food, but the staff. The woman who took our order (she had a hairnet on and was a little older) was downright rude. She didn't smile the whole time at us, and my husband even said hello and she completely ignored him. When I asked what kind of vegetables were in the veggie panini, she rudely said "uhh vegetables," with a smart attitude. So we sat down and a few minutes went by and I saw her coming with our food. We stop here occasionally because of its proximity to the office. The food is ok but very over priced. There are no gluten free options, not even a wrap. I can't imagine what they'd charge for a sandwich with gluten free items. Maybe you'd get a piece of gluten free bread for $20 and a snarl. No one smiles here, ever. I'm thinking it might be against company policy. If you're looking for hospitality and kindness you're better off going to Wawa down the road, or anywhere else on the planet. read more

I've been to the Windsor Deli a few times, probably more than ten over the last six to eight months. It is near my office and is an occasional stop for lunch for me. PRO: The menu is very large and has everything from traditional deli sandwiches and paninis to soups and salads. Although the sandwiches are on the smaller side they are really loaded with meat. Pricing is around $10 for a sandwich, a bag of chips, a pickle spear and a bottle of water. Where this may appear to be a little on the high side it pays not to forget the generous portions within the sandwich. I typically order the Royal Windsor which has a fantastic peppercorn dressing in it. My personal recommendation. The restaurant is clean and well lit and also has two large TV's with CNN always on. It's nice to catch up on current news while on lunch. The wait for the sandwiches is not long either considering they are made to order right on site. CON: The staff seems friendly but only once engaged multiple times. Most of the time they will take an order and give a total. No basic "Good afternoon" or "What can I get for you today?" Although listed as a pro, sometimes the cleaning of the facility interacts with the meal. Twice I've been there now with some co workers when an employee will fire up the vacuum cleaner and get to work. You'll ultimately be left with one of those awkward moments when you're shouting to one another and the vacuum cleaner turns off. Finally, the ordering process seems to be a coin toss each time. Sometimes you'll be asked if you want lettuce, tomatoes, onions, or your bread toasted. Other times it'll just come out with whatever you basically ordered. Their order system seems to be really inconsistent and a few times I ended up getting stuff I did, or didn't ask for. OVERALL: The Windsor Deli is a nice deli that offers a diverse menu and is certainly a break from "fast food delis" like Subway with a much better quality of food. Just make sure to have a specific order ready and occasionally a less than smiling staff there to enter it for you. read more

Staff isn't friendly at all. And the food wasn't good. I got a grilled chicken breast sandwhich and the chicken breast was so chewy. It tasted like it was definitely frozen. The best thing about my meal was the the bag of chips and bottled iced tea. I have been here before when I walked across the street and the wrap was mediocre at best. I'm from out of town, but Windsor Deli is always on my list of places to grab a bit when I'm in town. Everything I've ever eaten there is very fresh and tasty, the prices are reasonable and the service is fast. It gets busy at lunch time, but you're sure to be in and out of there in 10-15 minutes even during the rush. read more

The food was great, but the service was rough. There were 4 people working but they couldn't find their rhythm and the line started to backup out the door. It took about 15 minutes to get my sandwich, but that ate up a big chunk of my lunch ( no pun intended ). By far, the worst breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The tiny egg, cheese and bacon were overshadowed by the Kaiser roll! My customers who I took the sandwiches to were extremely disappointed and asked if I went to a different deli as they were so much skimpier than the ones I typically bring. Food here is really good. I've gone in several times for lunch because it's close to my office. I've gotten a few of the wraps...all have been fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced being that they're a good size and come with a bag of chips and a pickle. My only problem with this place is that everyone working there seems MISERABLE. Never a smile, a hello, a please, thank you, or anything like that. The other day I simply asked the cook which kind of wrap she was bringing out since I wasn't paying attention the first time, and she rudely just said "CHICKEN" without even looking back at me. I get it, not everyone likes their job, but why treat your customers like that every time they walk in? Just uncalled for, rude customer "service". I really hope someone from Windsor Deli takes note of their poor service reviews on yelp. I would hate to see a place with good food go downhill because their workers so miserably serve people food. The best thing about Windsor Deli is their offering of wonderful homemade soups, but a word of caution. It seems if you do not get there any earlier than noon or 12:30, they have run out of one or more of the soup offerings. This is VERY discouraging and has happened more than once (in fact, many times!). You would think when this happens that often that they would make more each day as to NOT disappoint their customers. read more
