Notes on my ratings: 5 - Rare and reserved for the unicorns 4 - I love it and will go there again and again and recommend to family 3, 2, and 1 - I don't use these ratings. Better to say nothing at all. This is a little gem. A few times a year, I need to commute between RI and NC and David's is on the way. I get the same turkey Swiss every time. It's excellent. Quality service along with a quality sandwich. Ordered the Italian hoagie to get a good baseline. The roll is from Liscio's Bakery, so that's a huge plus. The quality of the meats is on the higher end, where less meat is ok, due to the richness of a higher quality. The sandwich was well constructed with the veggies on the bottom. I was walking in town and discovered this quaint market. They have a little bit of everything. a wide variety of soups, sandwiches as well as fresh deli meats. They have a variety of different cheeses. They even have a small section with to go meals prepared if you need a good healthy meal quickly. A little chocolate covered Section for those looking for a little something sweet. They also sell Sarges pierogis that are made in Bath Pa. I love buying local and appreciate businesses who help other businesses by selling their products. The staff is extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. I ordered 2 salads to go and the price for the size of salad is well worth it! Finally The SOUP! It will keep you coming back for sure! Probably the best mushroom soup I've ever had!! read more

I went here with high expectations. Their customer service is good and their cold hoagies are excellent. Where they lose me is at reheating their meatballs, chicken cutlets and knishes IN THE MICROWAVE. How can you have fresh made ingredients and then reheat them in a microwave? That makes it lose its moisture thus making their meatballs dry. This is also a slap in the face with the price. Hopefully this will improve in the future. We have been looking for a good spot to get authentic Italian hoagies with good bread - we found our spot at David's! Their rolls are awesome, and they even carry Toluto's pastas. We have been back several times, and the hoagies have been consistently excellent. They also offer salads, which are are huge and delicious. We love this place. Went there our first time last week and got 2 hoagies, a meatball and a tuna. We enjoyed them. Went back today and got 2 hoagies, an Italian and a tuna. The meat in the Italian was cut thick and the meats were rolled together put in the bun. The tuna was sparse and had very little lettuce, tomato and onion. I asked for oil and vinegar on each hoagie and none was put on the hoagies. I received a side of olive oil that I assume was the dressing I requested. The server was pleasant and friendly. The inconsistency of the food is why I won't go back. Too bad because it's within walking distance to my home. read more
