It is AMAZING.... the apple flavor in whatever you are baking is real because this is REAL.. no imitation junk that you might find in the grocery store! You can haul home a few gallons of apple cider and spend all day boiling it down yourself, but it will be easier (and less expensive) to get this. Keep the bottle closed tightly in your refrigerator and you will have it for a long time (and get some maple syrup while you are at it).

Baby goats, baby cows, peacocks, and many other types of animals were around for feeding and petting. $1 entrance fee for the petting zoo? Yes please, all day long. We also spent a few dollars in their gift shop, which had the world famous apple cider donuts that you can buy by the bag. Sugar or no sugar is up to you. Crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Made fresh to order. Lots of other snacks around too for those with impulse control issues. Freeze dried everything is apparently a thing. I emailed their landlord, which is the Hanover co-op and reported the issue. They said that it was the farmers market management who was responsible for maintaining the landscaping. The Norwich Farmers did not reimburse me or even respond to my emails with their insurance information. I was going to take them to court, but that would involve my insurance and I don't want my rates to go up. I used to be a customer for years as I live locally but due to their complete disregard for their customers, and horrible management I will never return. I can get what I need from the farms I buy from directly. If you value your car or drive an expensive car be aware.

Well organized, easy to get in/out, minimal need for walking, and very little mud on one's feet. We pick blueberries each summer, multiple times per season. We have picked peaches in summer 1-2 times, and have picked apples in the fall a few times. Each time it's a great experience. The apple picking gets crowded, but never crazy. We've never had an experience where we were sent to pick in a section that had been picked over and had little fruit. Each time it's a great experience, both for adults and children. Well organized traffic, parking, checkout, bags/buckets. I can't recall a time I felt like things were crazy or disorganized. Prices are fair. The big bonus of course are the treats that they bake up: apple cider doughnuts, pastries, everything I've ever had has been amazing. Makes me want to move in and work there, it's just so wonderful. Greenhouses are plentiful here and you can pick up some potted flowers for your home garden, as well as your own herbs and veggies! You can also pick up some good old groceries here, like meat or dairy products (fresh eggs and milk anyone?). If you're anything like me and my group of friends, we like to be photographed anywhere and everywhere so the flower greenhouse was the spot to be in. Call us obnoxious, because we are actually so obnoxious, but we also appreciate the beauty of local farms! The Vermont way of life values buying local goods and honestly, I don't mind living this small town lifestyle for a bit. Not forever though, as I'm a city boy through and through.
