I'm so glad I did. I had a blast. The day I came for the event, I met one of the sweetest staff members who made me feel so welcome, her name was Kelsey. Today, I met another of the employees and the owner, Maddie, both of whom could not have been more sweet. This is a welcome addition to the hilltop shopping area and is located near Taste. I was told it's been here for around a year or so. They have a lively Instagram where they update new additions to the shop often so you can see what's recently arrived. It's beautifully decorated inside with a range of unique and well priced ladies clothing and accessories like sunglasses and jewelry. There was a nice-sized sale section with items where there was only one left marked down. I highly recommend you support this shop. The new shirt MUST be the exact same price Note that there were many other shoppers in the store but these two girls behind the counter, refused to come out from behind the counter and assist and assist anyone in the store. Their personal conversations from behind the counter were more important than assisting store customers. I ended up leaving with my original new shirt that was too small. Lesson learned - expect terrible service if two girls are working behind the counter and get a receipt. I do not recommend shopping there unless you enjoy absolutely terrible service.

I was really disappointed and decided to call the HQ in VA Beach. I was put in touch with Jen the director of their surfboard department and my experience was completely turned around. Jen was professional, listened to my plight and went above and beyond to make things right. She put me in touch with Chris the manager in the obx shop and he carried the torch to the finish line. While speaking to Jen I discovered that they try to use American made products and materials as often as possible. That they really care about their employees and have a deep bench of experienced people that have been with them for many years. WRV is a large company and after the email shuffle I was sure that I wasn't important enough for my problems to be addressed. Jen completely proved me wrong and made me feel that not only was I important as a customer but everyone that works for them and the community around our beaches and in the lineup are number one when it comes to their business. WRV has made a believer out of me when it comes to great people and a solid business model. I will be a lifelong customer after this experience.
